Special Blood: Slyther's

A black-robed figure

After practicing all day, avoiding strange balls that are sticky and stinky, at night I was told to gather in the middle room. My entire body ached as I gathered in the living room. The atmosphere in the outer courtyard was very dark, the light from the lanterns hanging in front of the terrace did not radiate all the way to the front yard. Plus it is raining very heavily. The house is completely isolated.

I yawned when I was in the middle room. Alicia, Arka, and Justin were already there, wearing the same outfit: tight black clothes and trousers. Why are they wearing such strange clothes? don't tell me the evening rehearsal!

My body was already completely tired, there was no way I could do any more exercises. "What is this really about?" my many.

"We don't know" replied Arka.

"Then why are you wearing such strange clothes?"

"That's it, Fredic told him to."

"Oohh ...."

I decided to keep quiet while occasionally paying attention to this room. Although I have lived here for a long time, I am still amazed by this house. This room was warm because of the fire that raged in the fireplace. My eyes set a big clock on the fireplace, a clock that was worn out, dusty, but still burning.

Near the fireplace is also a painting, no, rather a carving that appears to be shaped: A figure who was fighting a dragon that floated above the clouds and was surrounded by flashes of lightning. The carving formed a story, the next carving of the dragon spewed fire, then the scarecrow was killed, then the dragon again gushed, but into the sky, then the dragon exploded and ... the next book is unclear.

I'm guessing there must be a mystery behind the carvings before Fredic suddenly appeared, he appeared from empty air– I'm not too surprised to see him–although sometimes I feel .. wow, I feel like I'm not so surprised, that's really cool.

"We don't have time anymore" said Fredic hurriedly before throwing a necklace at me.

I caught it, a necklace with a pendant a dark colored cube-shaped pendant.

"Wear it, Killa," said Fredic. "That would be useful and ...." Fredic's hands formed a vortex in the empty air and boom! suddenly a rain coat appeared in the empty air. My eyes widened to see the action, I'm sure if Fredic joined magic show on television for sure he will be famous–and his tricks will never be revealed his magic– is very cool.

"Use that coat" Fredic said.

Arka took the coat–number was four–then gave it to Justin, Alicia, and me. I thought: Necklace and coat? what's all that for?

"Get Killa's coat on, quick!" Fredic.

I wear this very thin black coat, a pair, for the upper body and the lower body. The size fits perfectly with my body and it feels very warm, like I'm wearing a blanket.

This raincoat coat, I guess that later I will definitely be told to do something under the heavy rain out there.

"The coat will protect you, not just from the rain, but from everything else." Fredic. "Now you go north, find fireflies with blue flickers. And for you, Killa, wear the necklace I gave you earlier, it'll help you a lot." Fredic looked at Alicia, Arka, and Justin. "I leave it to you!"

The three of them nodded.

"Where are we going?" my many.

"There's no time to ask now!" said Fredic. "I beg Killa, follow the four of them, keep running, and never think of stopping."

"Y-yeah, all right," I said.

"I hope everything goes well" Fredic clenched his hand.

I didn't know what had happened, but suddenly my vision became extraordinary, I mean that the forest was very dark, but now everything is clearly visible, like the view in the afternoon. So, I can run after Arka, Alicia, and Justin easily running around in the forest.

Actually I don't know what is going on, but I can conclude that there is an emergency situation.

The coat I am wearing right now is really useful, besides being useful as a rain container this coat also makes my movements faster, I don't know but it feels like my body is becoming lighter. The hood of this coat is also amazing, so far when I ran my face was not exposed to rain water at all. I really wanted to scream while saying: Wow! this is so awesome!

I don't know how many miracles I've had lately. My life is far from normal.

It had been about ten minutes we ran from the housing. Thanks to the hard training my body can slightly compensate for the running speed of the three of them. As I was running I saw the roots of the tree protruding from the ground, writhing like a snake.

And when I was watching the roots move suddenly came the sound of an explosion from behind. The four of us stopped. Although I don't know what the explosion was, but I'm sure the sound came from the Green Grass Housing.

"Housing Green Grass .. I think the sound came from there," I said.

"We don't have time anymore! let's hurry up!" said Justin. Even so, I knew that Justin was also feeling anxious. It was clearly visible from his face.

Although this is not my first time into this forest, but the atmosphere in the forest is still very creepy as usual. There were so many animals that I had encountered, crawling, jumping, just milling about not clear.

The streets started to get rocky before I heard the sound of wolves from a distance, roaring very loudly. The size of the rocks the more there are more and more times its size. We had a little trouble getting through the stones. What I was most afraid of was: Suddenly the rocks were landslides.

After a few minutes we managed to pass through the steep road, which is now replaced with a sloping road.

As we were walking down the street suddenly from behind the trees appeared mysterious people wearing black robes, faces unrecognizable because they were covered by hoods. If counted the people in black robes it amounted to eight people.

I still didn't understand who they were before suddenly one of them lunged at me, which Justin was holding. Justin hit the cloaked figure and it was perfect to have him thrown a few meters back. I imagined how it would be if the blow hit me, my whole bones would crumble.

Because of that I can conclude that the black-robed figure is an enemy.

"Everyone's ready!" jolt Justin. Serempak Arka and Alicia put up the horses. I know nothing just follow them.– mounted the horses.

I can't fight, the training I've been doing all this time is just to train my physique. So, I'm just like a coward here, just watching my three friends fight. They fight and protect the shaykh, whenever a cloaked figure lunges at me, they will swiftly stop him.

I still don't trust Alicia. She was a female but her fighting ability was incredible, her slender body always easily dodged punches and kicks from enemies.

Until then the eight robed figures jumped back. After that, they went on about, chanting mantras, like followers of heresy. That sounds really bad.

Their eyes lit up from behind the hood, colored red, and they suddenly disappeared.

"Gurghhh!" Suddenly Arka was thrown, hitting the tree hard. I can't see it, I mean the one that attacked Arka. Even though my vision had gotten better, being able to see in the dark, I just saw an Arka that had suddenly thrown itself.

"Revelation!" shout Alicia.

A cloaked figure appeared behind Justin's body, like a ghost, only half-body. However, Justin managed to dodge by rolling to the side. What an incredible reflex.

Now that I saw it, all eight figures were flying through the air. They were now completely ghost-like, floating half-bodies with smoky bellies, their thin hands, sticking out from under the cloak, while their eyes lit up like fire from under the veil.

My body trembled looking at those eight figures.

"Black slyther's!" firmly Arka, after rising to his feet. "They're after you, Killa!"

"Why me? I've never called a creature like that!"

"Did you forget that you were special!" said Justin.

"Ah .. that...."

"You two go. Arka and I will hold them" Alicia said.

One of the Black slythers flying in the air burst out at me. Alicia immediately stood in front of me then raised both her hands forward. "La the fa!" There appeared a shield that glowed white in front of Alicia's body. The black slyther hit the shield and then shrieked.

The figure flew back up.

"We don't have time anymore! Hurry up, Killa, go with Justin!" exclaim Alicia.

"But what about you!" I said.

Justin pulled my hand without warning. "Dasa is troublesome," his grunts. We both ended up running even though I was reluctant.

I looked back before I ran. I saw Alicia and Arka muttering, just like a Black slyther before, they both cast spells. After that, their eyes light up.

"Focus ahead!" snapped Justin. "We just trust them. They're both not as weak as you."

Although I feel a little bit upset, but Justin's word is right. We kept running down the sloping road, the ground was muddy, so my movements were a little slow. The rain did not stop and it was even more raging. Lightning bolts began to appear.

Giant plants began to appear. I saw a big mushroom down there. I was thinking something a little crazy. I jumped on top of the mushroom hood which then reflected my body, floating in the air, which then slipped down rapidly.

I landed perfectly and therefore I managed to overtake Justin who had been in front of me.
