Special Blood: Slyther's

Special Blood: Slyther's
Make potions

To be honest the first time I came to this island and saw that creepy house, my premonition was bad. Especially to the owner of this house, which was an old grandmother of short stature, her face looked fierce and full of wrinkles, her hair was already completely white. And he always carries a fairly long stick with the end of the stick there is a purple crystal ball–I don't know the function of the stick, which for sure the stick has a power.

But apparently, everything is not as I thought. It is true that we cannot judge something based on appearance. The house that looks creepy from the outside it turns out in it is very beautiful, and the owner of this house–grandmother with a fierce face– turned out to be very good and friendly.

For three days I and the others have been living in this house. To be honest, I was a little bored because I was only allowed to sit quietly in the house, Aulus did not let me go anywhere for three days. I was happy at first, but the longer it got me bored, somehow I really wanted to explore this place.

This morning I had to sit pensively in front of the terrace alone because Aulus and Justin had to go hunting in the forest located behind this house. These three days I always eat the meat of their hunt cooked by the grandmother of the owner of this house. I don't know his name yet.

I sighed as the sky rumbled. Sitting in a wooden chair while looking at the slightly overcast sky, this was really boring, it felt like I was being quarantined in this house. The cause is just one "Special blood".

Because there is something special in my body I became like a precious object contested by many people. Therefore, this place became the safest storage place for me. But, this is not what I want. Have I not gained the power of telekinesis? I can take care of myself!

"What are you thinking sweet boy?" Suddenly a voice sounded from behind.

I looked back. The grandmother of the owner of this house came out from inside the house, walking towards me with a smile.

"Em, I just miss my parents" I said, looking ahead.

The grandmother was standing right beside me, her eyes staring straight at the front yard, her hands folded behind her back. "Can you tell her sweet boy? This old granny is very curious."

I was silent for a moment, thinking about the words I wanted to put out. "I miss both my parents and all the activities with them. I miss my mom, my dad, my friends. I miss home." My face bowed.

Believe me, if there were no grandmother beside me, I would have cried. I held him back just because I didn't want to look so whiny.

"Grandma knows how you feel, son. You knew... Grandma used to be like you. For some reason grandma had to live away from the family. Living alone is not fun. Grandma had to fight herself hard, enduring all the pain. Grandma did all that just because of Grandma's family." Grandma sighed. "So, don't be sad. You can count on Grandma from now on."

I smiled a little. Now I know why Grandma's living alone in a creepy place like this.

"Do you hate what is inside you? I mean that special blood?" Grandma asked.

I'm shaking. "I don't like it, but I don't hate it either. I know it's weird, but that's how I feel, Grandma."

Grandma's soft hands gently stroked my head. Before Justin and Aulus came while carrying their hunted animals, two rabbits the size of a horse. Their clothes were dirty, their faces were filled with red liquid. I was a little horrified to see it.

"They seem to be busy," Grandma said, "Sweet child, do you want to help Grandma make some potions? It seems like they both need some."

I thought for a moment. If I help Aulus and Justin, they'll definitely tell me I'm a nuisance. Making potions.it sounds fun.

"I'll help you, Grandma" I said excitedly.

...

In the backyard of the house, there was a small building made of wood. My grandmother and I entered the building. In the room, there was a campfire that was given a barrier around it, and on top of the campfire there was a large cauldron filled with boiling water.

There are four different wooden shelves in this room. There are different things on each wooden shelf. Red shelves contain herbal plants stored in glass jars, brown shelves containing glass jars containing slimy liquids, green shelves containing preserved insects, and green shelves, and the black shelf contains pieces of animal bodies.

"Ah, I forgot one thing," said Grandma. He pointed the end of his stick at me. "Resor."

Suddenly my body was wearing a black robe. I don't know where this came from, but I'm sure it's magic. Grandma smiled at the stunned expression I let out.

"The robe will protect you when we make the potion. Are you ready?"

I nodded immediately. "I'm ready."

"First step. Get me a jar filled with silver spider saliva" Grandma said. He only watched while I was working.

I looked for him on the brown shelf. In the blink of an eye I instantly found a jar that read "Silver spider saliva".

I did as Grandma pointed out, putting the saliva of the silver spider into the cauldron every twenty seconds. The water in the cauldron stirred itself. I put it in for the fourth time, but suddenly the ground shook violently.

Grandma's face looks panicked. "Forget the potion! let's get out of here! Looks like a guest came to my house." Grandma immediately rushed out of the potion making room, I also directly followed her.

We both ran until we got to the front yard. Justin and Aulus were there. There were three people wearing robes standing five meters in front of Justin and Aulus. The situation looks tense. Grandma and I went to Justin and Aulus.

"Who are they?" ask Grandma in a high tone.

"They are the ones who are after Blood special," Justin replied. His gaze was never separated from those three people.

I was strangled to the ground once I knew that the three mysterious people were after me. My heart raced fast. Shouldn't this place be safe? my thinking.

The three people also seemed to not budge at all. Two blond-haired twin men and a slim beautiful woman. The three people were pale-skinned, their eyes were both red.

"Calm down, we came in peace" said one of the twin men who had an incision wound on his cheek. "We're just here to make sure." He grins.

I could see Justin clenching his hands tightly, his face was also full of emotions, it seemed like he knew the three people.

"Is he the one?" said the pale woman while looking intently at me. My hair immediately brushed.

"It seems so," replied the other twin, "I can feel it from inside his body."

"Our goal has been reached. Let's go back and report this." The pale woman now turned to stare sharply at Justin.

"Wait first! I want to say something to my heart first" said the man with an incision wound on his cheek. He looked at Justin. "What is it about your appearance that's my sweet? You look beautiful with long hair. But that's okay, your new look makes me want to have you soon. But our meeting just got here, next time we meet, you'll really be mine."

Justin snarling. "Shut your mouth!" Justin ran straight towards the man.

"You're still too slow my dear." Before Justin's punch had hit the three people, they had already disappeared, like a black smoke blowing in the wind.

Justin looked angry, very angry, to the point that the aura around him looked gripping. He stayed where the three people were standing, his hands clenched tightly.

Lightning boomed over the sky, and after that a black cloud dropped millions of drops of water.

"Take him in, Killa," said Aulus before walking into the house with Grandma.

I walked over to Justin. At first I was scared because Justin was looking unfriendly, but I ventured, until I got behind Justin.

"Aulus told us to go into the house immediately" I said. Justin was silent. "Justin?"

"Go and leave me alone!" sergeant Justin.

I'm scratching my head. It seemed like he was really struck down due to the presence of the three people earlier.

I patted Justin on the shoulder and said, "I don't know who the three people were, but it looks like you had a bitter experience with them. I didn't know what to say, I also realized that I was weak. But at least, I'll help as much as I can when you're in danger.

"You know, right? if I had awakened one of my powers. Maybe I'll be a little help."

There was still no response from Justin as the rain grew heavier.

"Hey, come on, you'll be sick if you stay here. I'll worry if you're sick."

Justin looked up, looking at me with a flat face. "You know. You're so noisy!" Then Justin stepped into the house.

I let out a breath. "I don't think I can get along with him."
