My best friend

I was cornered in the corner of the wall as the three twin boys walked closer to me. My mind screamed in fear—maybe if seen now my skin is very pale.

"Who are y'all? and what do you want?" I said raucous. My body trembles.

One of the men smiled. "What do you know?"

Now they are just a few steps away from me. They stopped in front of me while grinning indistinctly.

"What should we do next?" ask one of the twins to his brothers.

"As planned," answered one of the twins.

"Who are you!" Suddenly someone shouted from a distance. I stared past the three twins.

From a distance I saw a fat man whom I knew very well. His face was covered in sweat—it looks like he ran to get here. He said he wanted to go home first. However, Faki! what are you doing here?

The three twins looked back, staring at Faki with a wrinkled face. They looked at each other before one said, "Who's that fat pig?"

The child beside him shook his head. "Not knowing."

Faki ran, passing the three twins as if they were not there. He immediately stood before me with a breath of breath. Face's worried. "La, are you okay?" that was his first word to me.

My mouth was open for a moment. "I'm fine," I said later, "What are you doing here?" I asked back, cringing.

Faki held onto both of my shoulders, his face turning serious. "To save you of course. I was following you, because you seem to be in big trouble." Faki twisted his body, staring at the three twins.

"Then ... are they Justin's friends?" Hearing that I clenched my hands.

"Go, Faki. I can handle this myself. This situation is not what you imagined." I'm saying this so my best friend Faki doesn't get into trouble.

"Speak what you are, La. This is my job as your best friend." I was so full of hearing it. Why is this kid so stubborn. You are my only friend so there is no way I will let you into my troubles.

"What did that fat pig say?"

"Maybe he's acting like a hero."

"I hate species like that."

"Say you go!" I said before the three boys walked over, who then stood in front of Faki. I can see it, Faki's body is shaking.

"Fight me before–"

One of the twins slapped Faki in the face so hard that it made his nose bleed.

"Why is this pig so noisy."

I saw Faki's body trembling violently. I gotta move! However, my body was unwilling to resonate with my brain. I have to save Faki!

Faki stared intently at the child who had just slapped him. From here I saw his hands clenching while trembling, he pretended to be firm. I can't bear to see it.

I immediately act– stand in front of Faki to fortify him from the presence of the three twins. "Your business is only with me! don't involve my friend! let him go, "I said firmly

The man who had just slapped Faki frowned, like an understatement. He raised his right hand, preparing to slap me. However, before that Faki suddenly slid his fists tightly into the boy's face, despite only making his face look away for a moment.

The man looked at Faki, his breathing was hunting, his face was really angry. "Although it doesn't hurt, but it really makes me angry." The second after he changed to punch Faki in the face to make him thrown two meters back.

I looked back, looking at Faki who was lying on the ground unconscious. Seeing that my blood was boiling, my emotions instantly overflowed. I clenched my right hand tightly and punched very hard at the man who had attacked Faki.

Whether my punch was strong or what, the man was thrown two meters back. My mind was empty, only anger was overflowing.

The other two twin boys began to look at me warily. "It looks like we have to do it" said one of the twins, who was nodding by his brother.

Suddenly very quickly they hit me simultaneously to make me throw to hit the wall far behind. It hurts! but I don't care, I get back up.

My emotions are overflowing. My mind started to wither, my body started to move on its own. I darted very quickly to one of the two boys just now and then hit him hard, he was thrown a few meters back.

The other man started to get scared, he looked at me with a pale face. I shot back towards him very quickly, my right hand held high before a hand grabbed me from behind.

The grip of the hand was so strong that I could not move my own hand. Precisely because of this I grew angry, I quickly turned around to hit the person holding my hand.

However, before I saw the face of the person who grabbed my hand suddenly my gaze became blurred. I feel like my nape is being hit. My body suddenly went limp. I fell down, lay down on the ground, my eyelids starting to close on their own.

I woke up and knew I was in a UKS room. I was still confused as to why I was suddenly here.

"You're finally awake too." An unfamiliar voice sounded from beside the bed.

I looked over and found Justin sitting down and reading a book. He closed the book as soon as he understood I was watching him.

I tried to get up and sit while digesting the meaning of Justin's words.

"Those twins I was the one who told them to," Justin said as if he understood my thoughts. "Actually I told them for another purpose, but suddenly your friend came so that something unexpected happened" he added.

I clenched my hands. "So it's true you. I expected it. I can't believe you told those three people just to deal with me. A coward! you even involved my friend.

"Your apology alone is not really sincere. How nauseating!"

I don't know why I'm usually quiet this time I dare to vent my thoughts. I'm really mad. While Justin was just speechless while looking at me with a flat face.

Suddenly the door of UKS opened showing three people, Alicia, Arka, and Faki.

Justin sighed before standing up. "It looks like I'm not welcome here" he said then stepped out of the UKS. However, while he was at the entrance, his arm was held back by Arka.

Arka said, "Where are you going?" ask her in a low tone.

Justin glanced at him for a moment. "Come," he answered. "Can you let go of my hand?"

Arka. He lowered his hand. Then Justin stepped outside.

Alicia, Arka, and Faki came up to me. "Are you okay?" ask Alicia.

I nodded then looked towards Faki who was down, like he was unwilling to look at me. "What about you, Faki?"

He looked at me and smiled. "I'm good."

"I'm sorry. If not karen–"

"It's not your fault" Faki cut my sentence. "That's my own decision, so .. stop blaming yourself."

I'm down. Even though he said it like that I still assumed that it was my fault. If it wasn't for Faki coming to save me he wouldn't have had to get involved with those three twins.

"When did you wake up?" ask Arka.

"Some time ago" I answered.

"Thank God. You're okay, right? Do you feel anything in your body?" I nodded, my body is fine. Arka sighed.

"Killa," Alicia said, "This may sound strange but believe me, Justin actually has no malicious intent to you."

I cringe. "Then what about him who told his friends to attack me? I know you're her best friend, but .. ah, never mind, I don't want to discuss this right now. It's been a very late afternoon and I want to go home."

I get out of bed. "Will you come home with me, too?"

I looked at him and he nodded. I don't want to linger in the UKS so I want to go home soon. After that we went home together.

Arriving outside the school, more precisely in front of the school gate. I saw my mother waiting on her favorite motorcycle. He waved his hand as soon as he saw me.

I can't believe my mom's still waiting when it's about an hour after school.

"I'm first, Faki. See you next week."

"See you later" replied Faki.

I also approached my mother. "Is your extracurricular activities going well?" suddenly my mother asked.

"Extractricular? meaning?'"

"Yes, then who's your handsome friend?'

"My handsome friend? Which one?"

Mama clucked. "That's you know, whose son has the same height as his hair is disheveled and if seen-look at him like a woman.

I thought for a moment. I don't have friends like that in my class. Except for him, Justin. But I don't think it's possible, he and I are in trouble.

I hurriedly asked. "What did he say to Mama?"

"She told Mama you were following the exculpation, so you'd be home much longer."

I didn't expect. I never follow any exculp! or maybe Justin said that to cover up the fact that I was in the UKS?

"Ooo, he's my classmate, transfer student, his name is Justin. Like I said I was following my ex, so sorry to keep Mama waiting." For the first time I lied to my mother. I'm forced. Because I don't want to worry my mom.

"No problem. It's good to see you active at school. Yasudah, let's go home."

I nodded and got on my mama's bike. Mama turned on the motor. While on the way Mama said in a vague voice. "La, your friend named Justin was friendly, yes. I hope you're good friends with the boy."

I don't approve of Mama's words. Justin friendly? that's right. That was my guess before I went through something that really changed my life.
