Silence of a Son-in-law

Silence of a Son-in-law
DSM-12

I worked all day, and so did Mas Ashraf.  To make my relationship with Mas Ashraf even more tenuous. There is rarely time for us to talk. If there is, only night and then if not sleeping. Mas Ashraf has been overtime a lot lately and I just agree without suspecting.

After work, I started to feel comfortable because I rarely met my annoying mother-in-law. Although I still do homework before I go to work, but I feel better because my heart is comfortable. While the task of my mother-in-law is only to comment if there are things that do not fit with her thoughts or hibah with Mpok Idah.

These last few days, many of my neighbors have said that Mpok Idah comes home every day. I don't know what they're doing and talking about, I choose not to care. Including Mas Ashraf who rarely came home even I began to be a little indifferent.

Not because I could not serve as a wife, but what I did was to avenge Mas Ashraf. I began to learn to be a little indifferent just like what Mas Ashraf did to me.

Tonight, I was forced to overtime because Mery's mother was about to go out of town and I was allowed to go home when Mery's mother left. I also according.  Although I did not return home as usual, I deliberately did not send a message to Mas Ashraf. Yeah, just like what Mas Ashraf did to me.

When the clock was eight o'clock at night, I just got home from Mery's mother's house. The atmosphere in the village began to be quiet because many people had entered their homes. When I just walked into the house, I saw my Mother-in-law sitting in the living room. His look was so scary that it scared me. Not more like a kuntilanak. Hidhi. I shook my head to block my thoughts.

I cursed myself as a brash daughter-in-law who equates mother-in-law with kuntilanak.

"Where are you from?" My mother-in-law's voice sounded very sniffy. I know, that woman is mad at me because this is the first time I have to go home late.

"Last work, Mom. It just so happened that Mery's mother was going out of town and I was told to go home after she left," I explained. My mother-in-law's face also looks more sour.

Not wanting to cause any trouble with the woman, I chose to go back outside the room and buy her what she asked for. Who's money on? Of course, use my personal money. Haha.

Ahhh! I took a deep breath when I realized that I shouldn't have built it that way. I have to sincerely give to the elderly, let alone the headache medicine in the stall, it costs nothing.

However, after buying the medicine and walking home, my steps came to a halt when I almost got in front of Yuni's house. I saw that Mas Ashraf was with that woman.

My forehead shriveled deeply to make sure what I saw was not wrong. Yep! That's Mas Ashraf! And what Yuni did made me even more shocked. Where Yuni grabbed Mas Ashraf's hand and even kissed the back of the man's hand. Things a girl should never do to someone else's husband. Which is clearly not his muhrim.

My heart was warming and I felt great pain. It's really painful. Although they have not been proven to play behind, but my mind feels very confident that there is something between them.

I want to go ahead and approach them. Yuni slapped loudly and angrily at Mas Ashraf. However, I don't want to be rash. I have to make sure first and look for evidence.

When I saw Mas Ashraf's motor that was about to drive away, I hurriedly hid. I don't want to until Mas Ashraf finds out that I saw him.

"Huh! Thank goodness." I breathe a sigh of relief. "I need to find out what the two of them are related to."
