Sharing Love: Second Wife
Talaqs

*Three months s*previous* ...

Vika looked at Mahen who was standing before her. He did not expect to get Mahen's proposal. A taste of haru gushed filled his chest.

Mahen's heart beat faster waiting for an answer from Vika. He repeatedly swallowed. His eyes flashed with confidence that Vika would accept his proposal.

"How, Vik? Will you marry me?" Mahen asked again because he could not wait for Vika who was still surprised.

"Sister, to be honest I'm very happy because this is my first proposal in life. Had Mahen proposed to me like this seven years ago, I would have accepted." Vika's shoulders dropped and smiled wryly.

"Thus ... You reject me?" The King's eyes, which had been glistening confidently, now look beautiful without light.

"Sorry, Brother." Vika lowered her head while twisting the tip of the blouse she was wearing.

"Is it because of the King?" guess Mahen.

Hearing the King's name being called, Vika's head looked up, and her eyes widened. Just hearing the man's name alone, made Vika's heart rhythm irregular.

"It's true." Mahen smiled slanted then stood up.

Vika looked at Mahen who was now closing his ring box. The man breathed a rough breath. His eyes stared intently at Vika.

"Vika Aditama bint Juno Aditama, hereby I am Mahen Putra Dirgantara looking after you because your heart is no longer mine!" Mahen uttered a talaq to Vika.

If another woman would cry sobbing and her heart breaking into pieces, not with Vika. The woman smiled broadly. He got off the couch and grabbed Mahen's hand.

"Sister, thank you for the sweet memories that Mahen once gave to Vika. Sorry, because Vika refused Sister's proposal," said Vika.

"Curtain, basic! Don't be sweet in front of me, or I'll change my mind!" Mahen lowered the tip of her lips then ruffled Vika's hair.

Vika chuckled at Mahen's behavior at that moment. Mahen said goodbye, he went home with a piece of his heart. Maybe this is bad karma for him. Mahen is determined to bury his feelings deeply, as much as possible will not bring them to the surface.

When Mahen came out of Vika's room, he accidentally stepped on a bouquet of Daisy flowers. The man picked it up and called out to Vika. Hearing her name being called, Vika walked out of her room.

"What's up, brother?" ask Vika.

"This ...." Mahen handed the bouquet to Vika.

"Don't ...." Vika's eyes widened.

"King!" exclaim Vika and Mahen together.

In that instant, Vika grabbed her phone. He tried to contact the King, but the result was zero. His call was ignored by the King. The tears of the woman began to spread. Repeatedly he tried to call the King, but was not picked up.

"How's it?" Mahen scrunched his forehead.

Vika just shook her head, then her cries broke. This was the first time the King had ignored his call. His heart was as if it were sliced open because it was the King.

"Let's go to his house!" Mahen pulled Vika's arm and invited her to meet the King.

On the way, Vika's lips were about to utter a strand of hope. He did not want to lose the king. The man who keeps his heart sincerely, helps in times of distress, and comforts in times of grief.

The black sky accompanied the two to the King's house. The residence of the owner of Vika's heart looks dark. There was no sign of the king being in it. As soon as Mahen patented the car engine, Vika immediately ran towards the fence of the house. He rang the bell repeatedly, hoping the King would come out and open the door.

Vika's tears spread, her chest as if squeezed by a large stone. Mahen approached Vika and tried to calm her down. He held onto Vika's shoulder, then wiped the tears that soaked her cheek.

"Calm down, we're looking in the store" Mahen said.

"But which shop, brother? Brother knows for himself, there are dozens of King's taverns in this town." Vika continued to speak while sobbing.

"I know which cafe he's at. Come on!" bring Mahen.

The two return down the streets of the capital city that is densely creeping. The sound of the car horn makes Vika's mood more chaotic. He repeatedly moved his legs while biting his nails.

After successfully splitting the sea of cars and other vehicles, Vika and Mahen finally arrived at the cafe. Vika went straight in and headed for the cashier's desk. He asked the King's employees with panicked faces, and eyes condensed.

"Feb, Brother King .. is there?" Vika's breathing is increasingly hunting for the answer Febri, the King's employee.

"Sir King today left for Bali, Ma'am. This should've taken off." Febri frowned both of his eyebrows while rubbing his chin.

Vika's body slumped, now she squatted down while drowning her beautiful face into the palm of her hand. He cried, tears flooding his cheeks.

While drowning in a sea of sadness, suddenly the cafe lights go out. Some customers shouted in surprise. Vika looked up, observing the atmosphere of the cafe which is now dim only rely on lighting from flip-flop lights.

Slowly, Yovie & Nuno's Sacred Promise greeted Vika's hearing. From the direction of the entrance, the King walked while carrying a bouquet of Daisy flowers. The man gathered in front of Vika and took out a box containing a ring.

"There is a name that is always written in the heart, but not necessarily written on the marriage book. I want you written on both, Vika Aditama .. Will you spend the rest of your life with me? Let's get married!" The king proposed to Vika that second as well.

Vika nods quickly in agreement, tears full of love flowing down her cheeks. The king stood up, then grabbed Vika's fingers. He set up a diamond ring. The little thing is now encircling Vika's ring finger.

All the way home, Vika kept smiling while looking at the ring on her clasped fingers. The king clasped Vika's hand tightly.

"Likes?" The king smiled gently towards Vika.

"Like that! Not because of the ring, but the feelings stored in it are very sincere for me" said Vika.

Hearing Vika's words, the King's cheeks met red. He remembered how broken his heart was some time ago. Seeing Mahen proposing to Vika in front of his eyes, like a whirlwind ravaging his heart. However, all his worries suddenly disappeared when reading a message from Mahen.

Mahen said that Vika rejected his proposal. Then the King's intention to propose to Vika again continued. He asked Febri to help prepare everything in the cafe, while waiting for the King to come home from the flower shop. The man also helped Mahen to buy time, until the preparation of an impromptu proposal was completed.

"What kind of wedding do you dream of?" ask King.

"Ala Cinderella, can you?" Vika blinked her eyes repeatedly to ask for the King's approval.

"If I don't want to?" The king smiled flatly.

"I will continue to cry until the King grants it!" exclaim Vika.

"If I still don't want to?" ask King.

"No way! My brother always did everything I wanted! King never refused my wish!" Vika smiled triumphantly.

"Basic!" The King's hand landed on Vika's head, then ruffled her hair.
