Sharing Love: Second Wife
Back to Mahen's House

A row of skyscrapers greeted Vika as she entered the streets of the capital. That afternoon the sky was orange. The road still looks wet because of the new rain.

Vincent was still at peace in the grandmother's arms. While the King is still focused on the solid road smoothly.

"So, are we going straight to Mahen's house?" ask King.

"Yes, I've made sure only Mahen is home. Nova is having an event outside the city" Vika said.

Nola turned to help him. All information about Nova can be easily known through Nola. The woman is willing to help whenever Vika needs help.

"Well, you live there too?" ask the King to Miss Lasmi.

"Yes, I'm afraid that something bad will happen if I don't share with Vika" said Ms. Lasmi.

"There's not gonna be anything bad, ma'am." Vika tries to calm her mother.

The sky had turned dark when Vika reached Mahen's house. Vika's hand trembled slightly as she was about to press the bell button.

Tong ... Tong ....

Only once pressed the doorbell of the minimalist house was open. Mahen still wears a formal shirt and trousers. It seems that the man has just returned home too.

"Sister, how are you?" greet Vika with a smile.

"You ... Why are you here?" asked Mahen stuttered a little.

"That's .... " Had not finished the sentence, Miss Lasmi has approached Vika.

Vincent is crying for his rights. Now Vika takes over his son's body, then tries to calm Vincent down. The baby boy's cry only stopped when his gaze met Mahen's eyes.

Seeing Mahen's figure, Vincent smiled then pointed his arms at his father. He asked to be carried. Mahen who did not understand, looked at Vika questioningly.

"That's it, Vincent asked to be carried," explained Vika.

Mahen remained silent. Seeing his actions not getting a response from Mahen, Vincent cries hysterically. Mahen finally let them in.

While in the house Vincent was still crying. Because it is not hearty to finally hold the baby Mahen who is soon one year old. Miracle ensued, Vincent fell silent and now smiled cheerfully.

"Previously sorry to interrupt Mahen's time," said Vika opened the conversation.

"Please let me, Mom and Vincent stay here for a while in the next few days" Vika said.

Mahen did not respond to Vika. He just made polite eye contact. His attention was repeatedly taken by Vincent. The baby boy would hit Mahen in the face when he felt neglected.

"But ..if Mahen objected, I would live in the King's apartment" said Vika.

"Don't!" Mahen suddenly shouted, suddenly it made Vika gasp.

"Yes?"

"I-it .. anu .. stay ..., " said Mahen.

"But you have to leave before Nova comes back!" shouted Mahen.

Seeing Mahen's response, Vika smiled. Then Vika decided to clean the restroom that she had once occupied. While Miss Lasmi headed to the kitchen to make dinner. Vincent? Don't ask again. The little baby was playing with Mahen.

"I'll take Vincent upstairs" Mahen told Vika.

"Yes," Vika replied briefly with a faint smile.

"Vik, try to get Mahen to eat first!" exclaim Bu Lasmi while serving his cooking on the dining table.

"Yes, Mom."

Vika seemed to be thrown back to the time where she had just entered the house. The sofa where he first slept until sore, the bathroom where he was beaten Nova first, the narrow room where he unwinded and the ordinary stairs he saw Mahen up and down every time.

When she got to the door, Vika knocked on her slowly. However, there was no response from Mahen. Finally, Vika entered the room without permission.

After being satisfied to take pictures, Vika lifted Vincent's body. Because Vika is not careful, Mahen wakes up. His eyes still look soft due to sleepiness.

"Sorry, Brother."

"What time is this?"

Vika turned her head towards the wall clock, then looked back at Mahen. His body could not stand still because it swung Vincen in his arms so as not to wake up.

"Eight o'clock at night, sister," replied Vika.

KRUUUUUUUKKK ....

Their awkwardness instantly collapses as Mahen's stomach protests. Vika tries to hold back her laughter so as not to break, she is afraid Mahen will be offended if laughing.

"I'm not hungry!" exclaim Mahen.

"I-this ... My digestive system is at work!" imbecile.

Shortly after Mahen quibbled, the worms in his stomach began to protest back. Suddenly Vika laughed loosely, the corner of her eyes now contained a speck of clear liquid because of her laughter. Instantly Vika's laughter stops as Vincent whines. Mahen threw a murderous gaze.

"Sssstttt .. sleep again yes, dear. Mama's sorry" said Vika while trying to put Vincent back to sleep.

"Sister, let's eat, please" asked Vika.

"Come down first, I'll clean myself up first" Mahen said.

Finally Vika went down without any protest. Downstairs, Miss Lasmi was talking to someone. Seeing that Vika had left Mahen's room, he turned off his phone.

"Who, Ma?" ask Vika.

"Tante Riri, he asked Vincent for news," Miss Lasmi replied as she took her granddaughter from Vika's sling.

"Mother put him to sleep first, you eat first" added Ms. Lasmi.

Vika decided to sit down while playing her phone. Shortly afterwards, the sound of Mahen's steps descending the stairs. Vika looked up, she was fascinated by Mahen's simple appearance that night. The man was wearing a black plain T-shirt combined with knee-length cargo pants.

"What cooking?" Mahen's voice revived Vika.

"Ah .. that .. mother just fried fish, make sambel, and saute kale," replied Vika.

That night they ate quietly. The awkward feeling still enveloped the two people who had fallen in love with it.

After eating, Vika cleaned the dining table. When he was about to bring a dirty plate to the sink, suddenly Vika's leg slipped. His balance faltered and Vika's eyes closed resignedly imagining the pain that would arise if her head collided with the floor.

Luckily Mahen caught Vika's slender body before falling to the floor. Mahen's clay arm was coiled solidly at Vika's waist. The eyes of the two are now clashing, a strange geleyar that long did not appear perched in Vika's heart.

One second, two seconds, three seconds. I don't know why Vika feels Mahen's face getting closer. He could even feel the man's breath sweeping across his face. Mahen's face was getting closer, and when the distance of the two stayed as thin as glass Mahen smiled ignorantly.

"Stand up, you're heavy!" whispered Mahen.

Sontak Vika immediately quickly stood up, but not Vika his name if not careless. Being too nervous, his legs slipped back. Now the plate he was holding was floating into the air. And ...

PRANGS!

The kitchen floor is now filled with broken dishes, Vika's body fell in a sitting position. Mahen can only pat eidat see the attractions that Vika does.
