In the rain, the King drove Vika home to his mother. Vika's hand trembled, she hesitated as she was about to knock on the door. She could not imagine how her mother would express.
After gathering courage, Vika exhaled a rough breath.
Tok ... tok ...
"Yes, just a minute."
Vika's heart was pounding with the sound of her mother's footsteps. The door lever is turned. Vika can't back down now. The creaking of the door greeted his hearing. The expression of her mother's astonished face greeted Vika's eyes.
"Well, Vik, home?" ask Miss Lasmi while watching the situation around.
"Yes" replied Vika briefly. As much as possible, Vika held back her crying so as not to break. He could not bear to see the disappointed expression that would appear on his mother's aging face. The child he was proud of, had secretly thrown dirt on his face.
"It's raining like this, why don't you go home tomorrow? What's it going home?"
"Friends, Mom."
"Come, come in first. I made you some warm tea," said Miss Lasmi.
Vika pulls her suitcase while tailing behind her mother. The mother went straight to the kitchen to make tea. Before long Miss Lasmi came out with a cup of tea and a few pieces of cake.
"Drink first."
Perlaham Vika sip warm tea made by her mother. The smell of the tea sucks up Vika's smell, making Vika's heart a little calm.
"You crying?" ask Miss Lasmi.
"No, ma'am," said Vika.
"Vik, you're a mother's son. I know very well that you are not good at lying" said Ms. Lasmi.
Hearing her mother's words, Vika's chest grew increasingly tight. The tears that he had soared from before, finally escaped. Vika approached her mother. The woman rested on the mother's lap.
"Vik, you, why? Don't be like this" said Miss Lasmi panicked.
Only cries and sobs came out of Vika's mouth. He could not tell everything he had experienced. Miss Lasmi tries to calm Vika down. He rubbed the back of a woman he had been caring for for for 25 years.
"Sorry Vika, Mom. Vika makes you disappointed," said Vika after a little calm.
"What are we talking about, Vik?"
"Mom, all this time ... Vika ... has lied ...," said Vika stammered.
"What are you lying to, Vik?"
While continuing to sob Vika told all the events he experienced. From her accept the offer to marry the series to Mahen. Until today's incident, where she was expelled pregnant.
"Go," said Bu Lasmi with a flat but emphasis.
"Bu .., "Vika whines hoping that her mother's heart will melt.
"Don't call me mom!" shouted Miss Lasmi. His eyes implied disappointment and anger.
Seeing her mother looking at her full of anger, made Vika's heart very sick. This time he was expelled for a lifetime. Usually no matter what mistake he made, his mother would only silence him for a few hours. After that it will return to normal.
But this time no, Vika knew the mistake he made was so fatal. Nor can he expect more to be forgiven.
"You know? I fought desperately to raise you alone, but what? This it? Go then! I don't want to see you again!"
Repeatedly Vika said an apology, but did not make her mother's disappointment heal instantly. Vika finally came out of the house. His steps were limped in the rain. His tears had already mixed into one with the falling rain.
The woman doesn't know where to go. The night was getting late, the rain began to subside leaving the streets cold and wet. Vika's legs are starting to numb. He decided to rest his feet in front of the closed shop. Without feeling he fell asleep in a drenched and cold state.

"Yes, Sir. I've taken the woman to the hospital, she has a high fever" one woman said on her mobile phone.
The woman decides to end the phone, after seeing Vika start moving.
"Sir, is it better?" ask the woman.
Vika still hasn't responded. He was still trying to digest what was going on. Vika scanned the room where she was. Upon awakening, he was shocked to find himself lying in a hospital gurney.
"W-how did I get here?" ask Vika.
"Formerly introduce, I'm the Inca. Last night when I was about to pick up the phone left in the store, Mbak was lying in front of the store in a feverish condition. So I brought you here" explained the Inca.
"I have a fever?"
Vika just nodded. Before long the figure of the man he knew entered the room.
"Lho, Vika!" exclaim King.
"Sister King?"
"Aren't you going home to your mother's?" ask King.
"I-it .. I was kicked out of the house" said Vika.
"Ah, sir, Ma'am, I say goodbye first. I opened the shop, excuse me." The Inca said goodbye because they did not want to interfere with the problems faced by them.
Vika finally recounted the incident she experienced that night. Her tears broke again as she remembered that.
"I don't know where to live now, sister," said Vika.
"If you don't mind, you can stay in one of my apartments."
"How much does the rent cost, brother? Vika can't work yet. Vika also does not want to work anymore in the store," said Vika.
"No need to rent, for work you can work in my coffee shop."
"Really?"
The king nodded with a smile. He could not see the woman he loved suffering.

From that day on, Vika worked as a cashier in one of the King's coffee shops. He resigned from his previous job. Actually Fany and Lolita objected. After explaining the problem, they finally let go of Vika. Even occasionally they still meet, sometimes taking turns to take Vika to check the contents.
A bad incident again befell Vika and her future baby. That morning, the Inca did not enter because she had to attend her sister's wedding outside the city. So, inevitably Vika had to keep watch at the store until noon shift employees entered.
Not many people visit the store because of the workday. But at lunchtime, Vika was made to keteteran because suddenly the tavern was crowded. The movement is increasingly limited because of the age of the womb which stepped six months.
"Okay, please be patient, brother. I'll make your order soon." Vika smiles sweetly to the customer.
The woman sighed looking at the queue that was still snaking. While preparing a coffee order for customers, he called Raja for help.
"OK, wait. I'll be there in ten minutes" said the King from the other end of the phone.
Hearing the King's words, Vika calmed down a little. He just faced the gaze of customers who began to wait.
"For a long time, the service!" call a customer.
"Sorry, Brother. I am alone now, and my movements are limited due to being pregnant. Please be patient" said Vika while smiling politely
"Eat him Ma'am, if pregnant at home! Don't work!" shouted another customer.
"Really! Ah, I'm buying it at this store!" shouted another customer.
The words and swearing that the customer threw made Vika's head pulsate. The earth he was on felt to spin rapidly, the balance of Vika wavering. It's falling. Vika gets even more panicked when she finds fresh blood flowing from her birth canal.
"Whoever please!" yell Vika.
Customers just look at each other. Some of them even accused Vika of playing a show. Some were left alone, then left the store. Vika finally lost consciousness.

Dear Readers, in this section there is one of my personal experiences. The author used to work outside the city with a distance of one hour. Usually take public buses. It feels sad to see the younger generation that has no conscience.
Several times, where other passengers let me who was pregnant was standing in the middle of another passenger crush. Most of them are young workers and even students/students who should be willing to provide a comfortable seat for others who are more in need. But in fact some of them are indifferent and pretend not to know.
Not all of them are selfless and selfish. But when you find someone like that, it feels sad. May my beloved Readers not be. The author knows you're good people who still have empathy.
Be healthy, you guys...
I love you guys a lot...😚😚
