They all turned their heads and gazed at the source of the voice, including Robert White.

"Cassie, but he's a lot stronger." Cameron said slowly.

'I'm worried about him. Hybrid or not, Morgan is very skilled and Cassie has never fought anyone.

"I don't mind. I want to fight it."

"Sir, I don't think that's a good idea." said Nathan, he looked at Cassie then at Mr. White with his big, weird eyes, a little dark green compared to all the other Nephilim.

Robert looked at Cassie then sighed, then went on stage.

Five minutes after Cassie volunteered, Cassie faced her smiling opponent against her. Cassie doesn't want to prove anything to anyone, she doesn't like to show off. Cassie just wanted to see if the boy was really as strong as he had shown before, when he jumped at Nathan after the latter dropped him to the ground. He couldn't believe Nathan was dropped so easily. He did not look tired at all, unlike Morgan who was sweating and gasping for breath.

The absurd idea crossed his mind that Nathan was pretending, that he was not using all the power he had in his body. He grows increasingly suspicious of her, and the only way to find out if she's wrong or not is to confront Morgan himself. With that reason, he would have the chance to see the boy closer and would fight for the first time as well.

While he was daydreaming, Morgan had started the attack by throwing a cast at him which made him fall to the ground. He jumped to his feet and wondered how he should carry out the attack. He didn't really know how to behave, what exactly he had to do. Then he thought about what he had seen during Morgan and Nathan's fight a few minutes earlier. He decided to repeat the same movement. He ran towards her and kicked her stomach trying to gauge her strength. He leaned forward and the necklace he was wearing slipped off his neck and fell to the ground. It was a rather strange necklace, with a kind of talisman that he had never seen before. Cassie took advantage of the moment and lunged at him, kicking and punching his sides. The boy, however, was extremely agile, and even before he could kick the others, he gripped his foot and dropped it to the ground again. Seeing him in such a state, Morgan burst into laughter.

The anger and humiliation he felt back then was indescribable. He snapped at the boy and his gums began to throb, a sure sign that his fangs would appear at any moment. He took a deep breath and tried to regain control as everyone in the room who watched held their breath. Cassie got up and tried to punch her in the stomach again, but Morgan locked her wrist and pushed her to the ground, straddling her. His grip was so strong that he could not move. Cassie narrowed her eyes, preparing for another blow, and she didn't have to wait long. Morgan punched his jaw, causing such excruciating pain that it forced his eyes wide open. The boy's expression suddenly changed. He had become very white and his mouth was open in wonder. Something was wrong but, in that position, he definitely did not know what. Morgan lets go, and before he can wake up on his own, Nathan helps him stand up. Cassie was dumbfounded for a few seconds, and when Nathan also looked at her in the same way Morgan looked at her, she started to get very worried.

- What's going on?

Nathan gulped and cupped his hands under his eyes. When he took it off, he had dark contact lenses on his finger. Cassie quickly raised a hand to her mouth. Who else did he see? He feels weak.

"Come with me" said the boy, holding his wrist and running out of the gym.

A few seconds later Cassie finds herself in front of the bathroom. Nathan goes in with her and says something to her but she doesn't listen. All he thought about was that he had been found out, that now he was going to die. Since when have you been afraid of Cassie's death? Cassie tried to convince herself.

"Casalia, can you hear me?" asked the boy, shaking him a little.

Cassie blinked at him.

"I should..."

"Shut up! I'll help you get it back."

"No, don't touch me!" Hands shaking. 'I don't believe that, now what?'

"I have to get out of here... " He jumped and ran.

He ran as fast as he could, as he had never done before. She was afraid Nathan would follow her, and out of fear he did not turn around until he was in front of the school gate.

If he was not part of the Nephilim, after what had just happened to him, he would probably turn into a wolf.

Fortunately, he was able to control that process, even in cases like this.

Once outside the block where the school was located, he slowed down his crazy run and walked home. He needs to recover, and most importantly, he needs to find a way to not be found. It's no longer safe.

When Nathan returned to the Gym, the students were exercising with each other in a relaxed manner. Even Morgan seemed to have regained his usual skin color in addition to his usual mannerisms. He walked past her, just to make sure everything was completely fine.

"Did the boy stop groaning?" Nathan doesn't understand what he means, but then he looks at Robert and everything makes sense.

"Ah, yes.he went to his house..."

"He became very brave and then he was scared... Stupid wolf!"

Nathan walked away and joined his teacher.

"You conquered it!" said reproaching.

"Do you have any other choice?"

"We'll always be in danger, Nathan!" said the man in a low voice.

"I just hope sooner or later the world starts accepting people like us..."

Nathan had the same expectations but said nothing. Not a few hybrids hide among the strongest hunters and he and Robert are among them. No one ever finds them, they are good at controlling the other side of themselves.

He was not afraid of being caught or dying and if it wasn't for Robert, he probably wouldn't have undergone any spells to change his appearance. Although he had disguised the color of his eyes, everyone thought of him as strange but no one had ever thought of him as a hybrid. He never wondered what would happen if someone were suspicious, they did a DNA test and discovered their double nature. Death doesn't scare her, never.

"However, Morgan would never have guessed that the girl was a hybrid."

"What makes you think that?"

"He's not very smart. He only saw that without contact lenses the girl was very similar to him and he became a little scared."

"Well, it's not too weird" said Robert who looked at Morgan.

"They have the same blood."

Cam is worried about his best friend. When he asked Mr. White how Cassie was doing, the man replied that he was coming home because he was not feeling well. But Cam's gut tells him that there's something behind it. He tried to call Cassie, but her phone was turned off. He didn't know if going to his house was the right thing to do, he had never been there. They had been friends for ten years, but they had always met outside, they had always played in the street or in the forest with other wolves.

After going back and forth in bed a thousand times, he decided that the best thing to do was to try it out. He should know how his friend is. He got out of bed and went down.

Her sister seemed to be asleep in front of the television, but as soon as Cam opened the door, she jumped.

"Where are you going at this hour?"

"I have to do something..."

"Cameron, you can't lie..."

Cam snorted, "I'm going to Cassie's house."

"So you really have a story!" the boy said with a smile.

- No, it's just that today he left during training and I haven't heard from him yet. I didn't expect anything to happen to her."

Josh looked at her and smiled. "You must be very worried about him ..."

"More than you can imagine!"

His heart never beat and his anxiety was never so unbearable. He tried not to think about what had happened and even tried to convince himself that it might just be his mind, that Morgan doesn't really understand what it is and that the same goes for Nathan, even if he has something. Unlike Nathan, he's not stiff, instead, he helps her.

There's a knock on the door.

"Darling, how are you? You're weird today."

"It was a very hard day."

Lucky when he came back no one was home. Her mother went to run some errands and when she returned, she did not even suspect that she was home early from school.

"There's someone who wants to see you in the kitchen..."

Cassie thinks it was Cam who was worried about her and now she goes to her house to see how things are going. When she arrived at the kitchen, she had not yet prepared herself psychologically for the meeting.

"Nathan White," he said in that tone he revealed astonishment and fear at the same time.

"Casalie"
