Cassie almost reached the gate when in the distance she saw a figure she was very familiar with. It was Cameron, along with Kristal. They were so close that their faces were almost indistinguishable. Then Cassie looked bad and her heart skipped a beat. Not only were their hands intertwined, but they were kissing. He felt strange, as if Cameeon had betrayed him. How long have they been so close? And why doesn't he know anything?
When he realizes that he has been staring at them, he decides to move on and enter the Academy from the opposite side of where Cameron and Kristal are. His heart was pounding and he no longer felt cold. He passed through the corridor with incredible speed and as he walked he collided with someone. When he looked into her eyes, she shuddered.
"Let's Casalia Weber!"
His anger grew more and more "Mr Wistledes" he said with clenched teeth.
"I heard about your mother... I'm sorry!" He is a bad actor, it is clear that he really has no regrets.
"My niece was properly punished, so I ask you not to tell people that she is the one ..."
"How could you say such a thing to me? Morgan killed my mother, my mother. Are you aware?"
"Yes, but now you're under Robert's protection. And sooner or later you have to say goodbye to your mother!"
"He's crazy! He's an arrogant, petty man..." Blood was boiling in his veins and his eyes were burning. He was afraid that his contact lenses would burn again because of the heat his body was releasing, the heat that preceded the mutation.
"Casalia" hands on her shoulders. He didn't have to turn around to find out who it was.
"Maybe it's better that he leave, training will begin soon" He squeezed his arm and dragged him along.

Cameron had already arrived at the academy early in the morning due to having to meet Kristal. Their relationship is official: they are together. He wasn't sure exactly when it happened, everything was so fast and jumbled that he didn't realize how much time had passed. Kristal is a very sweet and affectionate girl and Cameron is comfortable nearby, but every once in a while she thinks: What will Cassie say?
Even now, as Cassie walks past her, she wonders what the girl's reaction will be like when she finds out. He decides that he must tell her, Cassie must know that she is with Crystal now. Cassie is his best friend.
As if sensing her thoughts flowing, Cassie glanced at him and walked quickly towards him. Cassie did not have an indifferent expression as usual. Cameron thought he saw flames of anger in Cassie's eyes and for a moment he was almost scared.
"You can tell me."
"That?"
"What's wrong with the crystal!"
And how did he know? The boy was a little surprised but then he came to his senses.
"I'll let you know as soon as possible .."
"When then?"
"I'm waiting for things to calm down. That the pain of losing your mother..."
"That's my mother Cam, it'll never fade! It's just an excuse, a stupid excuse!" Cassie was furious and Cameron was scared. Cam had never seen her like this and she had no idea what to do.
Cassie was silent and looked at him. He's right, that's not the real reason he hasn't told her. Actually he was afraid to tell her because he realized the fact that something between them would definitely change and he didn't want to, especially now that Cassie needed him.
"You'll explain?"
The boy looked down "Sorry, you're right..."
"You idiot!" This time even Cassie's tone of voice had changed, there was a slight tremor, as if she would...
"You don't have to do this to me, not you!"
When Cam looked up again, he saw Cassie's eyes glow red. She cried?
"Cassie me..."
"Cassalia!" The figure that until then he was unaware of, stood behind his friend.
"Maybe you better get out and get some fresh air" Cassie nodded and ran away.
The two boys looked at him as he left the large room and headed to the door.
"So stay with Kristal..."
"I was nearby, looking at Cassie..."
"Obspecting?"
Nathan nodded: "Master Wistledes is here at the Academy. Cassie met him this morning and she asked Cassie not to say anything about Morgan's deeds."
Cam was horrified. How could a man be so evil?
"And what are you doing?"
"Nothing but if I don't come, I think he'll kill Cassie with his bare hands at any time."
Cameron looks outside again, but there is not even a shadow of Cassie, at first he thinks of looking for her but, given the reaction Cassie has and the fact that she has just met her grandfather, Cam decided to leave her alone. Maybe Cassie's really upset and Cameron doesn't want to see her like this.
In the last few days Cassie has not looked like the Cassie she used to be and the fact that she can't do anything to turn things around makes her feel even more useless. His job to protect Cassie has failed miserably.

Cassie never had many girlfriends, and some of the people she had with dumped her after a while because they thought she was weird. He is different from the others and not just because he is a hybrid but because he is always moody and indifferent. He had tried to fall in love, but failed. Because Love is something you can try and leave if you see that it is not for you. But in the end he had. He realized there was no point in being with someone just for a walk and he let it go.
In the end I'm not alone, Cam is with me. This phrase had been repeated so many times that in the last period he began to think that it might not make sense for him to relate it until now.
Cassie has always been an independent girl, but she can't do without Cam as long as she knows him. They went to school together every morning for ten years and were together every afternoon. They know everything about each other, sometimes they can understand what each other is thinking without speaking. Before things went wrong, she almost thought that maybe she had feelings for Cameron and maybe she reciprocated. Cam has always been very sweet to her and despite his strange nature, Cam has always been close to her. But that morning, when he witnessed the sight, the world had collapsed around him. I lost him, Cassie thought. Crystal wasn't his friend, but he always liked her. And even now, despite everything, she likes it, and on one hand she's happy Cam is with someone like her and not a mad wolf.
He felt stupid for reacting like that but he couldn't control it, lately he couldn't control his emotions anymore. How could it make her cry too?
"Everything's good?" He knew Nathan had been there for a few minutes, but he dared not turn around. He didn't want Nathan to see him like this again.
"Yes"
"Don't lie, Cassie," said the boy, sitting next to him, on the stairs.
"How do you know I'm lying?"
"I can hear your heartbeat unlike your friend who doesn't understand anything..."
"It's different for him" Cassie didn't know what to say and felt embarrassed to be seen in such a condition. The first and last time she cried in front of him was the night her mother died.
"Why did you come here? I'm sure Robert will need you inside..."
Nathan smiled at him "You're weird and only I can train with you, remember?" Nathan had a friendly expression now, no more indifference in his eyes.
"Do you want to go back? Or going home? You know, you don't have to..."
"No, I want to practice!" Cassie got up and looked at him. Nathan did the same and at that moment he felt his heart pounding.
"Nate, are you okay?" The boy initially winked in disbelief and then smiled.
"Why are you laughing?"
"I don't know if you're aware of it, but this is the first time you've called me that."

Morgan was thrown and turned on the bed. He wanted to get out of the room, go to the Academy and apologize to the girl but something stopped him and every time he tried to figure out what it was, his head hurt.
That night he had a strange dream: a silver-eyed girl asked him to kill him and he did not want to but continued to stick his sword into his chest. He did not know how reasonable the dream was, but when he thought about it, he remembered all the blood flowing from the heart of the woman he had stabbed without a second thought. He could not understand what prompted him to make that move. He knew that he did not have a good temper, but he had never killed anyone until now. Then suddenly something else occurred to him. That afternoon, after the girl hit him, his grandfather called him to his office and told him that he was not only disappointed in her but also made her look bad up front in front of the other family. He also remembered that his grandfather was not alone. There was a woman with long white hair and red eyes. Vampirish. How could I forget that? Now that memory is starting to reappear despite the headache haunting him.
The woman had removed the necklace that allowed her to escape from the vampire conquest and as she stroked her cheek, she said something to him. Butwhat? Morgan tried again but no longer saw the vampire. His grandfather told him what to do
"You will take revenge to restore the family's good name! You cannot be destroyed by a stray dog. Kill someone he loves and kill him."
The boy's eyes widened. He was sweating coldly and his head was very sore. How could his grandfather do such a thing? And how could a vampire be present in his house? His grandfather always hated anyone who was not a Nephilim. He searched for the necklace in every corner of his room but all his efforts were in vain. He must have left it in his grandfather's office.
