Morgan walked out of his room and walked slowly down the hallway. Now that he was increasingly convinced that staying in that house would not help him at all, if he spent another minute there he would be like his grandfather.

Cassie did nothing but train hard all morning and at one point Nathan thought she was venting her anger on him. He had dropped Nathan and because he tripped he landed on the ground. Nathan could feel Cassie's clothes clinging to his body and sweat dripping from his forehead. Now Cassie was on top of him and pointed her sword at his heart.
"You didn't want to kill me for last night ... If it bothers you, I..." He wanted to persuade her a little because the way Cassie got angry started really scared him.
Cassie is too angry, and an angry wolf can do bad things, she knows that.
"Absolutely not! I'm just practicing!" he said as he got up.
"Good, but no need to do that with demons, no need to be thrown to the ground several times before they die..." I never practiced for the devil. Nathan's eyes were strange and his lips became thin.
"You know exactly what I mean!" Of course Cassie knows, she just hopes with all her heart that she won't retaliate.
"Hello you two! We have to go home!"
As Cassie looks around, she realizes that other than the two of them and Robert, there is nothing left. They had practiced so much that they did not realize that it was too late.
On the way home, the three of them crammed inside Car —Cassie in the middle because she was smaller— they did not say a word. The girl's gaze was now blunt, no more flames of anger that Nathan had seen before.
"You better start taking off your contact lenses Casalia."
"If you wanted me dead, dear Robert, you could have kept your roommate away two nights ago."
Cassie was angry, no doubt about that. Nathan knows he's grateful to have saved Cassie's life, but Cassie isn't being herself at the moment and she understands that.
"No dear ! I'd like to introduce you to someone who can help you slightly disguise your true nature."
"Are you sure you want to go to him?" Nathan said a little in disbelief.
He hasn't seen her for at least many years, and he thinks Robert hasn't wanted to see her. Robert and Maia were once in a relationship but due to "work" she left him.
"What are you talking about?"
They just arrived in front of his house. They got out of the car and without even touching it, the door opened.
Suddenly, with a blue flame, a woman appeared like a witch that was in the storybook. She has long curly black hair, blue eyes, and a slender physique.
"Welcome to Casalia Wistledes, I'm happy to meet you!"
The girl jumped up and looked at Robert and Nathan "Don't worry, you can trust him!:
Cassie isn't entirely sure, but if Robert and Nate take her there, she'd better move on. They went into the house and Cassie flinched. Outside it looked like a simple wooden house, but inside was something completely different. It was divided into three floors and each floor was huge. The girl could not believe his eyes and wondered if all this was true.
"Yes, my dear, it's all true!"
"And how did you... " But then Cassie was silent. The woman in front of him was a magician, that was beyond doubt.
"I see you thinking about her girl!" The woman said with a smile, "Robert Will you please explain why you are here? I can't get into your mind."
"Have you taught me this trick or have you forgotten it too?"
"A long vendetta again? Robert, years have passed!"
Robert nodded "We're here because the girl needs..."
"The spell that made him able to hide his beautiful green eyes! Too bad, they are so beautiful to see! Your friend is also like-minded and very sorry because this is the last time he saw them!"
"Cameron?"
"No, not the kind that breaks your heart! But this handsome young man, Nathaniel Leighton"
The boy cleared his throat "White" he corrected him "And I would really appreciate it if you call me Nathan..." Nathan looked embarrassed and he was also embarrassed given the situation. The woman could get inside her head, so she knew what she was feeling right now or what she was feeling this morning when she saw Cameron. Just think of Cassie or she'll start to express your thoughts here in front of everyone.
"It's no use for you to try, baby, I keep hearing you!" The woman told Nathan.
"Just you're here for another reason so I'll ask you to follow me and... No Nathaniel, you can't follow us!" Nate glared at him and Cassie was sure she wanted to protest over what she did to him.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"You're so much stronger than Casalia thought! The Spell to change your appearance won't keep you from harm, you know that, right?"
"I know, but at least I'll avoid other accidents like losing my lens and scaring my brother!"
"You can call him that regardless of what he does - the woman said in amazement "You are really big-hearted dear!"
"If I had a big heart, I wouldn't be training to be able to kill him once I find him again"
The woman laughed "No, you won't! Trust me, baby, I know more than you know. Now you come closer to me! Look me in the eye without ever closing it. It's gonna hurt a little, but I know you can hold it."
Cassie did as she was told, but as soon as the woman looked at her, her eyes started burning like crazy. He gritted his teeth and within seconds it was all over. Finally she flapped her eyelids and some tears flowed from her eyes.
"We're done!"
"Have you? But are you sure it worked?"
"Who do you think you're talking to, miss?" said the woman was pretending to be in a bad mood. Cassie rolled her eyes and headed for the door.
"And now what's going on? Are my eyes dark?"
"No, my dear! Your eyes are the same as always, everyone will see them in a different color. Or at least almost everything."
"What do you mean almost everyone?"
"You'll know soon."
When he reached the room, Robert looked at him with satisfaction "Good work Maia! They're almost invisible."
"Good work? But it doesn't seem to work!"
"What are you saying, Nathan?"
"I always see them the same!"
Cassie turned to Maia, who was smiling at her. That's what he meant. A voice slipped into his mind "That's what I meant. Only he can see you for who you are."
Cassie knows that Maia is the one talking to her, and she tries to speak with mind power, even though she feels stupid.
"Why is it just him?j
The woman smiled in her mind "She seemed too sorry to think that I would never see you again as you are! Casalia Wistledes, if you think that your friend Cameron is the perfect fit for you, you're wrong. Only hybrids can be with other hybrids and I learned it the hard way! You and Nathaniel are the perfect couple."
"But he's not..."
"You don't believe him and you don't understand why he saved your life, but he also doesn't know the real reason. None of us can know. But that's it! You don't have to survive that night, so it's written. Your mother's death was an accident, it shouldn't have happened."
"So it wasn't just a nightmare, I was just dreaming about what was going to happen..."
"You're Casalia Wistledes who talks a lot! After all, now that he has saved you from fate, things have changed..."
"Whatchu mean? I don't understand this riddle!" but the voice in Cassie's head is gone and unknowingly she is in the car heading to what she should now call home.
Cassie looked at Nathan, and though Nathan didn't look back, she knew Cassie saw him because her eyes were pointing at the window and her heart was pounding so hard that Cassie felt almost embarrassed. Everything the woman said seemed meaningless, but sooner or later, she would get the answer she was looking for.
Still recovering from what the witch had given her, Cassie kept her belongings in a closet at the back of the room. He did not believe the fact that his death had been written, that it was not just a nightmare but a sign. He started to think that the woman had just mocked him now that he was so vulnerable.
"Hey" Nathan entered the room without making a sound, but as usual Cassie already knew that she was coming "Are you unpacking..."
"Can't it?"
"Of course I can! I just thought that in the end you wouldn't agree to stay here ..."
"Why not?"
