The Chafter 35

“ Illicit child .”

Raiyan looked at his stepfather angrily. The feeling of wanting to hit him as if arising. But, the bullet lodged in his leg seemed to be holding him back.

“ You won't get anything even if I die. “

Mandala laughed softly.

“ Really.” Raiyan laughed at Mandala's words.

And when Mandala pulled the trigger. The rope tied to my feet came loose and I rushed to run. But, what happened. Mandala suddenly turned her gun towards me and pulled the trigger.

“ Elisha !”

I'm speechless. The feeling of tightness began to feel. I looked at the screaming raiyan. The pain in my chest began to feel. I realized that the bullet released by the mandala had been stuck in my chest.

Oh God ! Can I still survive ?

The question ends everything. My body fell to the floor. My eyes were still staring at Raiyan as if unable to call him. Raiyan tried to stand up and come to me. But, the instant Mandala shot raiyan.

Raiyan fell to his knees. With the pain and her chest becoming more and more claustrophobic, she crawled up and grabbed my hand.

A voice that sounded vaguely as if it darkened everything. I don't know what's going on. But, it all felt dark.

Someone's voice clearly called out to me. I tried to open my eyes, but somehow my eyelids felt heavy to open.

“ Elisha, wake up.”

A familiar voice to me was suffocating. I squirm, there is a feeling of tiredness enveloping you.

“ Until when you want to sleep.”

“ Where am I?”

My question made my mother laugh.

“ Hi sweet boy. Until when you hallucinate.”

Not likely. It all feels real. Raiyan ! Where's she.

I stood up and ran out of the room. I see my closeness. And without thinking I went straight out of the house. Is this a dream? Or am I actually in which world?

“ Elisha.”

The sound of calling me made me look. A stranger smiling woman approached me.

“ Thank you my sohibku. Your novel is out this week. Good luck yes.”

“ Novel.” I said confused.

“ From waking up. Elisha looks weird.” A voice that is none other than my mother.

“ Weird.”. Said the woman who had just arrived.

“ It's meri. He's your cousin's brother who always takes care of your novel's deadline.”

I kept quiet to hear Mom's explanation.

“ Here's your novel that's coming up soon.”

Mira pulled out a new book from her bag. I picked it up and I read the title.

Sadness and love.

Mira nodded when the title of the novel I read. Out of curiosity, I opened the book and I found a story about raiyan.

Huh!

I'm appalled. As if I couldn't believe it. What's been going on all this time is just my imagination. Why is it happening as if it is real. I was confused and my head felt dizzy and light-headed.

Not likely. This is impossible.

Either my confusion makes me fall to the ground and unconscious. Mom and Mira scream. They were surprised to see me faint.
