Chapter 1

I was in a hurry this morning to the hospital. Some items and needs of the mother I have prepared, including a hot water thermos. This stacking up innate pisses me off. I didn't think that Mr. Bilqis would still go to campus rather than have permission to take care of his mother in the hospital.

Because there's no one I can ask for help. I finally decided not to go to school. I called Manda to ask her to tell Ms. Dea that I couldn't attend school because my mother was in the hospital.

With a stack of luggage I ran. I didn't care about the person I was passing by, I just kept speeding up my run with a pile of luggage and when I wanted to make a turn, I suddenly bumped into someone. My luggage fell and my hot water flask broke as well.

“ MasyaAllah.” My peek. “ Hey.” I said pointing to a man dressed in a white sweater wearing a cardigan. His face was covered with a mask and not so clear behind the face.

The man stood up, he helped collect my luggage. But, I resentfully pushed him and said impolitely.

“ Thermos my water broke. Did you not see. Or you pretend and want to say if it's not my fault.”

The man narrowed his eyes. It was as if the mask-covered lips were smiling in response to my attitude.

“ I'll replace it. But not now. I'm hustling. So sorry.”

The man immediately left. I who felt that I did not accept even pulled it.

“ Wait. “ hold me. “ You want to run away and do not want to be responsible.” My neighbor again.

“ I told you, I'll replace it. But, not now.”

“ Don't look for reasons.” Mouthed

The man brushed my hand. But I don't want to lose. I held his arm firmly.

“ Now change, or I call security.” I said trying to bluff.

“ You're like a child. I told you I'd change it later. I'm in a hurry.”

The man tried to let go of my hand by brusquely brushing. I don't accept. And when we pulled each other over, a nurse came.

Doctor!

I was surprised by the eyes towards the nurse who came to us.

“ The operation will start soon. Can't be delayed anymore.” Said the nurse.

“ Can you release your hand.” Said the man I just knew was a doctor.

I let go of my hand.

“ But!” I said when the Raiyan doctor wanted to leave.

“ Sisters AIDA. Please take care of this girl. “

“ You told him to take your responsibility. And you were wrong. You really are like a coward. Could you do that to a woman.”

My babble made her step closer towards me. Staring at me with her eyes that look beautiful if looked closely. My heart suddenly beats. His face was very close to my face. This man seemed to want to hypnotize my heart as well as my mind. I pushed him slowly with my face down.

“ You're still a boy.” His words were slightly heard mocking my reaction.

“ What did you say? Boy!”

Doctor Raiyan nodded

“ As long as you know, I'm 21 years old. I'm not a kid.”

“ Ok, I believe If you are not a boy. “ said doctor Raiyan as he turned and left me.

This time I won't hold it anymore. I understand that his duties cannot be delayed for this matter. And finally, the sister named AIDA asked for my mobile number and the room where my mother was treated.
