"Your hair has also turned red" Zen said.
Ara was stunned imagining herself now.
"From now on we can enjoy the sunshine without fear of being burned," Zen said as he gradually descended from the top of the bed. Then he took a glass from the table and thrust it in front of Ara.
"What's this?"muttered Ara astonished.
"This is your first drink" Zen replied."It's fresh sheep's blood, "he explained.
"Blood?"repeat Ara while observing the deep red liquid inside the glass. He should have been disgusted at smelling the fishy scent of the glass, but he didn't. He even smelled a strange fragrance and published his saliva.
Slowly Ara sipped the drink. The drink was refreshing.
"I must be crazy" the girl muttered after gulping down her drink. Zen wiped the remnants of the drink from Ara's lips.
"You're not crazy, baby" Zen continued."This is a beginning."
Kay, Zen's cousin is a troublemaker. Secretly the guy put his heart on Ara. An opportunity came to him to approach Ara. Of course this made Ara upset.
As soon as Zen learned of this, he became angry and took revenge on his cousin.
"What do you want, Kay?"challenge Zen to challenge Kay's manhood. They are one-on-one and ready for a duel.
Kay grinned. He was well aware of the challenge Zen posed.
"If I tell you what I want, will you give it to me?"reply Kay arrogantly.
"Of course, but after you've stepped over my corpse first," Zen insisted at the peak of his emotions.
"So you really want to pit your strength against me? Fine, I'll serve you," said Kay. He began to prepare to gather all the energy he had.
"We'll see, then,"
They both began to give off their own strength. From Zen's palm came out a beam of green light that he pointed at Kay's body in a row. While from Kay's palm came out a beam of orange light.
The fight was very stressful. Every now and then Kay fell backwards under the attack of green light from the palm of Zen's hand. So too with Zen. Time and time again the guy fell under Kay's attack.
The fight caused sparks in the night sky. Very stunning. The power of the two cool young vampires was balanced. Almost all night they fought but until the morning there was no sign of any of them winning the duel.
But fortunately the commotion was heard to the ears of the vampire elder. And on the orders of the battle elder it was forced to stop or both of them would die in vain due to exhaustion.
An emergency meeting of the vampire union committee was held the next day to resolve the dispute between Zen and Kay. After hearing each other's defense and Ara's testimony, Kay was found guilty.
Kay will be sentenced accordingly. He must be a servant in the vampire kingdom for a whole year. And after that he will be betrothed to a girl from among vampires as well.
Zen and Ara breathed a sigh of relief hearing him. Looks like Kay deserves that punishment.....
"I miss them," Ara muttered almost inaudibly. He lay down on Zen.
Ara has been living with Zen for almost a month.....
Zen scrunched his forehead. I don't understand what his wife's words mean.
"They're who?"zen asked as she rubbed Ara's hair dangling on the pillow.
"My parents, my sisters." murmured Ara again.
Zen was rather shocked to hear the expression of his wife's heart.
"You can't go there let alone meet them, Ara..."
