REMPAK: The Destruction

REMPAK: The Destruction
Part 9: Apparently, Cold Water Is Pretty Bad Too, Huh?!

The sun still has the rest of its top. Shining brightly without mercy. Airi snorted, calculating inwardly when the holiday would arrive. The sweat in his armpit flushed clear, insisting that he really needed a break.

The dirty blankets of the school health room he stepped as hard as he could in the water immersion. His legs started to numb as he had already done this for over twenty minutes, yet there was no sign of it going clean as well.

Airi was in the back of the school treatment room. He had to sweep, wash, dry, and check the cleaning equipment. This he did as a form of social punishment that Airi received.

Seeing that the shadow of her feet had started to blur as the water in the bucket was moaning, Airi jumped out. His hand reached for another water reservoir on the right. However, not until he touched it did a bunch of younger brother-level siblings run around until one of them kicked the bucket.

Airi glaring. He put on an unacceptable face and yelled at the guilty person who made his job even more difficult.

"HEY, YOU GUYS STOP!!!" Airi is not a loud voice type. He keeps his voice a lot. But today he's been very tired, bullied a little bit, he's going to bite.

"SORRY! SORRY!" The one shouted back. Ill-mannered. They don't even intend to help.

Airi stepped lazily towards the bucket that had been kicked quite far away. The girl forgot her feet were not on. He exhaled. The ground around was muddy, it could be that he was even dirtying his legs.

Despite that, Airi still took it and continued her relaunched work. The only thing he regretted was skipping his part-time job. He can get the ration to eat, his salary will remain intact, if only Airi is not punished.

Why did he go to the minimarket. Airi didn't even know how she lived the past few years. He must have been insane because he would always agree to Jizo's orders. Thankfully, Airi who was now like had just regained the power of her life.

The water coming out of the faucet began to fill the bucket slowly. While waiting, Airi picked up the phone located on a dry bench not far from where she was, along with her bag and belongings.

Airi did not find a single reply from Royo, her father. His father must have reached the Eastern District. Of course, midday was past a few hours ago. Royo departed from the morning blind, traffic must have not hampered his journey.

"Have you arrived?"

"Dad, reply to my message when I can."

"Don't forget dinner."

Normally, his father would give word even without being asked. Airi was a little unsettled at the thought of whether her father was offended by her attitude.

Airi put down her phone half-heartedly and was intent on continuing her pending work. How surprised the girl was when she saw three people gathered in front of the bucket she was filling.

What are they doing?! Airi swore her premonition was bad. She walked quickly even without caring about the mud that was now drifting up to her white skirt.

"Hey! Oi! What are you doing!"

Hearing Airi's voice, they stopped whispering and laughing. Now, the three people had shocked faces. They were two men and one woman, who were short-haired women. Airi almost mistakenly thought of it earlier.

He doesn't know those faces. If it was still in this environment, it was most likely that they were students of the academy. But, Airi had no idea who they were and what they were doing in front of her laundry.

Airi was only a few steps away when the three people just ran away. Underestimating Airi who was now staring at the blankets of the academy's health room with nanar.

"NON-CHART YOU GUYS, HEY! BACK!" Airi chased them for a second after seeing her work littered with some dirt and rocks. The blanket that he had stepped on until his feet turned blue and his waist felt stiff, was now in vain.

"RETURN TO YOU, SANDALS!" The chased one laughed while running away. While Airi in the back, was already out of breath.

"SORRY, BROTHER! WE'RE JUST A FAD!"

"SORRY! YAHOO!"

"DON'T FORGET TO WASH IT CLEAN HUH, BROTHER!"

Airi held onto her chest which felt tight. Damn, he can't possibly chase anymore. His body is about to collapse now. Airi took a deep breath, longer than her digestive path, from her patience remaining a piece.

"Damn."

Airi did not hold back her curse. He hated being made this way. People don't care what hardships others go through, they only care about personal pleasures.

His hard work means nothing. If they want to destroy, destroy. Where they care whether Airi agrees or not. To be or to curse.

The girl walked back to the back of the school treatment room. Now, he had to repeat everything from the beginning. With extra effort.

Airi felt like washing these blankets with sweat, rinsed by her tears, dried with complaints. She really wanted to cry. However, Airi had not done so for a long time

Being humiliated like this did hurt her feelings and self-esteem. But, rather than crying, Airi thought she should just go berserk. In the end, he did not do both.

Airi squatted down to move her laundry to a new, clean container. The back of the school now looks unworthy. If anyone were to look, Airi was sure that she was indeed considered a janitor, not a student of this academy.

Bad one.

May they never feel this difficulty alive. Because if they were, the three survivors would be filled with dreams of regret. Airi prayed.

Airi stretched her body after finishing with clean water. Now, back rub. Airi had to make sure there were no stains there. After all, Airi was astonished. Academies of this size, still use human labor to wash the health room blankets.

Don't-don't they have, just intentionally so Airi trouble. Fortunately, Airi was used to doing this everyday at home because there was no washing machine there.

Airi would turn around to move the bucket to a drier place. He had just touched it when the tail of the eye found something approaching.

"You go first."

"You just."

"Hey, you're the one who gave me the idea."

Airi's body knows who's coming.

"You people! You guys..." Airi's voice even shook because it was held so strong.

The three figures that Airi pointed pointed at roughly stopped walking because Airi was galloping firmly.

"You people! What were you guys doing, huh?!" Airi jerking. They took a step back, Airi came forward.

There is no fear. Airi had chased them hard earlier, even though she had lost. Quit and repeat the work with a chaotic feeling, now they dare to go back and appear?

"You're crazy, yeah!"

"Why do such a thing to me!"

"You have a grudge?!"

Airi snapped at the three lovebirds without hesitation. He will not be compassionate. Airi make sure they receive a proper reply.

"Pardon us!"

"Yes, forgive us!"

"We'll help you take care of it. Please, forgive us!"

Airi's eyebrows were even raised in confusion as the teenagers subdued themselves. Now, Airi is keeping her distance. Did the three of them, coincidentally, have the same personality problems?

Why apologize as if they had killed someone when time did not feel anything.

Greb!

Airi's wet hand reached the only female in the group. His eyes pleaded for mercy. Yes, Airi is angry. But he didn't even say a word about replying to them, yet.

Was his prayer quickly answered? After a few tens of minutes? Outer bias—

BYUUURR!!!!!

Airi glared and reflexively retreated as someone splashed a massive water at the three people before her. The girl stared in disbelief at what she saw.

"Jizo, what are you doing?!"

There, Jizo smiled casually. Mocking the trio who were now panicking while trying to breathe because they were surprised to be showered with water that came out of nowhere.

"Return it for you."

"It's even only been a day we've been away. But you've been a victim there and here."

"It turns out, Airi can't live without Jizo."

Airi looked at Jizo's disdain. Better say he's joking now or Airi will water it herself.
