Airi was playing the phone when she saw Jizo standing next to her. The girl frowned. She moves herself one step away, Jizo follows.
Airi had already managed to walk away from her social punishment. He thought Jizo was not following because the man was still sitting there until a few minutes ago.
He was waiting for the bus at the bus stop right in front of his school. The girl was sure, Jizo did not come home through this path as well, therefore she felt increasingly uncomfortable.
The man himself ignored her all day and Airi was happy for that. However, now he was even daring to follow her on the way back home.
"They've returned the brush and bucket to the storage room."
"The blanket is also sure not to be exposed to rain."
Although her ears heard clearly, Airi looked in a direction other than Jizo. Let him talk to himself on the empty highway that began to stretch because twilight was almost here.
Dinner time is almost here and many students are home. Even on the highway, not many vehicles pass around this hour. But the streets will be crowded again when office workers finish later.
The bus that Airi will ride on is already visible a few meters from the right. The girl stepped all the way to the shoulder of the road, not thinking of Jizo who was now comfortably standing behind her with his hands put into his pockets.
"Water, your skirt is so dirty."
Airi did not respond and immediately got into the bus. Not needing to be told Jizo, Airi could see for herself how she looked at the moment. He clearly did not seem like an educated person from the best academy in the Western District.
Airi is more dizzy to wear what she is tomorrow. That girl is not good at matching clothes. The white dress she wears is now chosen for being modest and her father praises her for being beautiful with her. Not that Airi knew if it really suited her.
"Airi, at which stop are you going down?"
"Have you been on the bus all this time?"
Airi took out a sound device from her bag and condensed it immediately. His mouth was still clenched without shaking.
He had deliberately not sat by the window, just in case Jizo would place himself next to him. If this was the case, Airi could block the man's access with her body. Airi did not think that even if Jizo was sitting on the back bench, he was still just as noisy.
The man still continued to ask Airi empty questions. Like whether Airi had lunch comfortably, or about in the automatic drink machine which part Airi used to buy her orange juice. Jizo tried hard to shake it.
But I'm sorry Jizo, try again next time.
Following Airi home like this even more makes him lazy to assume the existence of the man is around.
When Airi saw the stop sign where she dropped off visible to stay a few meters away, Airi reached out to press the stop button. However, he almost clashed with Jizo's hand at the same time.
"You're down here too, Airi?"
The girl snorted. Jizo, this is outrageous. He would have reported it to the police if he had really followed her so far.
"Jizo, that's enough. I gotta go home. Don't go any further." Airi let go of her voice device, speaking in a firm tone to the man.
Jizo put on a stupid look and said, "But I didn't do anything? I'm going down here too."
"Did you take the bus from here this morning?" Jizo asked him a question. Airi had almost fainted from overconfidence.
But, Jizo who even more prying information so make him remember, for what shame in front of Jizo. It's not like Jizo ever cared where Airi's self-esteem was.
"What do you care?" Airi asked curiously. He counted in his heart how long it would take.
"I'm just asking. Did you see what happened this morning?"
Why Jizo even asked about it as if Airi was a witness who was being questioned and Jizo was the detective.
Airi eyes squealing. Half do not believe, the other half are ashamed if it turns out he misunderstood.
Airi said nothing and immediately got up to descend upon seeing the stop right by the side of the road.
It was not as crowded as it was this morning. There was no crowd, let alone a police line. Everything looked normal as if no commotion had occurred.
To be honest, Airi was a little unsettled by taking public transportation today. This morning could have happened to him, too. That would be a pesky double for sure for Airi.
Airi looked back before leaving the area. Jizo did not follow him.
The man is now talking seriously to someone who was sitting at the bus stop, wearing a suit this afternoon. It looks weird with its incompatible pudding hair.
Jizo's acquaintances are strange people. Besides, what is he doing here? Airi does not usually see Jizo in the area of his house.
Especially, because of personal matters.
However, Airi did not bother and rushed home. His homework is waiting to be done and he wants to change clothes soon.
He might also call Akane to ask her what she thinks of the clothes she should wear tomorrow.
When she reached the door of her small house, Airi found a large package. It comes from a house transfer service. Yes, Airi ordered dus-dus goods to pack the furniture. Inside that big dus, there were small dus-dus that Airi ordered.
Airi is moving house. This is a long-term plan that has been discussed for a long time with his father. He will follow Royo to the Eastern District when he graduates. However, Airi had already started packing even though this was still a few months away from her.
He's not in a hurry. Airi deliberately, when she knew she could take time off from part-time work because she had to do punishment, free time at night she used to start preparing. Airi ordered it yesterday. Freight delivery services are really fast these days.
With great difficulty, the girl lifted her package with both arms while her back was used to push the door backwards.
Despite living here for a lifetime, Airi can't wait to move. Metropolitan cities like the Western District were no match for him. He wanted to go to the Eastern District whose "said" was quieter and quieter. He will study there, find another part-time job, and make it easier for his father.
Royo does not need to drive for hours to commute from the dock every time pulled over after sailing.
And that alone, made it even more steady to leave the Western District.
Moreover, Airi did not need to deal with Jizo if she went there. The Eastern District was truly the place of his dreams.
