"Welcome home, Jizo." A woman with beautiful blonde hair smiling sweetly welcomed the arrival of the young man. Jizo's eyes narrowed as his lips were pulled too tight. Jizo, approach the figure immediately.
"I'm home." Jizo hugged Haru longing. It's been almost three years since Jizo last met the beautiful girl. Jizo couldn't hold himself back.
"Do you eat well there?" Haru's soft voice. He pays more attention to Jizo who does not also release his embrace.
"I eat regularly, but nothing is as good as your cooking in the Western District" Jizo lamented. Saka behind him put on a disgusted face. Jizo's spoiled soul always gets up if it's near Haru.
"You're going to make out like that until tomorrow?"
Haru chuckles at Saka's innuendo who is not fitted with the brakes. The girl pushed slowly Jizo's body, giving them some distance, so Haru could see Jizo's face. The man looked at Haru meaningfully.
"Come in, your uncle's waiting." Jizo follows Haru's steps towards Corvus's Great House. He held tightly to his backpack as he walked inside with great enthusiasm.
Huh, Jizo will finally meet the person who sent him away.
The Big House is decorated with an old-fashioned European-smelling interior. This is Jizo's grandfather's style. When his mother inherited the Great House, he kept everything. Ko said, Uncle Jizo, everything is in the right place. The grandeur of the house is enough to accommodate Corvus executive members. Most importantly, it is close to the sea.
"Jizo, niece!"
"Uncle!"
"Honoho!" The big man hugged Jizo proudly. He released it a few seconds later. Ko observes how Jizo is getting taller.
Jizo grinned. "I've always taken care of myself, uncle. No need to be surprised to see my genes as good as this."
Ko heard it. Followed Haru who smiled understandably saw the small reunion. While Saka, the man chose to sit on the sofa while taking candy in the jar.
"Is your trip fun?"
"Yes, I didn't expect Saka to drive without bumping into anyone else."
Saka was almost choked by the candy she was pulverizing. "Can you not vilify me for a minute, son of a bitch?"
Jizo only replied to him lightly when he came to comfort himself in the seat. Haru thrust a glass of orange juice at him and Saka who had just been brought by a waiter.
"Haru, I don't like orange juice." Saka looked at Haru disappointed, feeling discriminated against. Next to him, Jizo sipped the yellow liquid scrumptiously. Orange juice is the best drink in the world.
"Thank you, Haru. I've been wanting to drink home-made orange juice." Jizo smiled again. I don't know how many times the man had put on his best face since arriving in front of Haru. Only Haru can make it that way.
Haru nodded. "You've never made your own juice in this whole time?"
"No, I always buy from an automatic machine."
Ah, Jizo so remember the taste. It wasn't him who bought, for the most part, that orange juice was paid for with Airi's money. Jizo grimacing amused.
"Why Jizo?"
"No, it's okay. I just remembered something funny." He shook his hand. It could be bad if they found out about Airi in Jizo's life.
Jizo did not want to share his acquaintance in the Western District. It was like a little secret that made his chest flutter. Jizo thought of making everything about Airi and the Western District a privacy zone.
The man did not want to imagine how the people in Corvus would react if he took advantage of a little girl just because of her playful reaction. Jizo is even sometimes too spoiled for Airi, who is obviously a stranger, not part of the organization.
It's horrible to tell people here. They will question where the soul of the ruler of Jizo who is the original descendant of the Corvus family.
"Jizo, I asked you to come home early because of something urgent." Ko opens the voice after some small talk of Jizo, Saka, and Haru.
"I actually want you to help Arba with the case that happened to Caracal, but today..."
"...today is a surprising coincidence."
"It seems, this mission will be entirely yours."
The face of the Corvus leader became so serious. The problems the group was facing were no joke. There are holes everywhere, even on sloping ground, there are mines. Every step they take can lead to excitement.
"Go to the Northeast District with Saka to meet Onaka. Arba and Huta will—"
Chequek.
"Sorry, Milord. I have to interrupt. But, I've got the victim's identity."
Everyone in the room looked at Arba who had just entered and cut off their meeting. The man had a green file in his hand.
"Sit down, Arba."
"Thank you, sir." Arba straightened his body back up. The pudding hair opened the file he had just held. There were pictures of a person's corpse, a piece of self-identity, as well as a rectangular piece of paper wrapped in plastic.
"Explain, Arba."
"His name is Royo Jiznor. He is a resident of the Western District."
Arba. Looking at his boss who seemed to be processing the information he just got. Jizo did the same.
Western District? Why are the corpses of the Western District citizens in Corvus docks? Is he a worker here?
"She works as a temporary crew of auxiliaries, but mostly she helps at the dock."
Like hearing every curious voice of the creature in the room, Arba resumed.
"Killed for violence, imprinted in the former gar, he must have been sprinkled with salt or even dipped in the sea."
Jizo frowned. He imagined how a dockworker was killed in such a way. Wasn't his body really big and strong? The culprit must be someone who is at least as powerful, or it could be more than one person.
"It remains unclear what the motive was for putting the body in the bag. But, the police assumed it was used to ease the transfer."
"So, you're saying he wasn't killed at the docks, but deliberately taken to the docks?"
Ko interrupts after several explanations Arba brings to the foreshadowing of the incident.
Jizo plays it like a movie on the head. The brain that is not very good in academia that he is forced to think critically at this time. The man looked at each member of his family who was also thinking.
"Is it more than one person?" Haru asked the question first. Exactly what Jizo had expected.
Arba. "To lift it, especially if it is completely submerged first in the water, it must be quite heavy mass."
"What do you think, Saka?"
The so-called one was still busy with his cherry-flavored candy. He is the one who looks relaxed out of everything. Saka removed the lollipop from the mouth.
"Isn't this clearly one type with the Caracal case?"
And the only sentence he contributed in that discussion, made all of them quiet full of high vigilance.
