"It turns out, Airi can't live without me, huh?"
"What are you doing here, Jizo?!" Airi's finger turned on Jizo. The man chuckles.
"I told you, I'm helping you."
Help what by watering an unknown person, this Jizo?
"Sister, please forgive us!"
"We were just kidding, really!"
Airi looked at the three people who now looked chaotic with their bodies drenched. Jizo doused them in large water on one flush. Too bad, Airi guessed they could get caught in the wind after this.
"Why did you do that?" Airi's hands were crossed in front of her chest. Just leave Jizo, coincidentally his affairs with the three people before him. Airi doesn't care why Jizo watered them.
"We're just kidding, brother! Really!"
"We are so sorry! We won't do it again!"
The women in the group were already crying. Oh, comeon. Airi the victim's here. Why is he the one who looks like the villain.
"Alright, don't repeat. It hurt other people." Airi actually wanted to scold them further, but seeing that the three people started shaking violently she undoed the intention.
Airi can't torture other people's children. They have parents waiting at home. Jizo, must have done something to the trio, and Airi didn't want to add any more trouble.
"Go."
"Thank you, Kak—"
Jizo held the collar of one of those who had stepped.
"Where are you going?" tanyakanya.
"You just let them go?! I've had a lot of trouble catching him and you're gonna let him go?" Now, that question was asked to Airi.
Flatly, Airi replied, "Don't interfere, Jizo. You go too."
Airi turned around after saying it. He now really doesn't care about the blanket being washed. Airi just wanted to quickly finish it again and disappeared from the place the moment she saw Jizo.
"No, no. Can't be that."
Airi still survives. He returned to keep himself busy. Heed his sense of hearing from Jizo.
"You guys,"
"Y-yeah!" Airi hears them replying in unison while Jizo only calls in one word. The man must have done something bad before to them.
"I'm responsible, go help him."
It's a decree, an order, an absolute.
The three of them nodded in unison then walked towards Airi. The girl kept her mouth shut, not commenting. His hand rubbed firmly against the heavy large white cloth.
The three men who had been judging Airo stood a few steps away from him, nudging each other whispered. Jizo, watch from behind.
Airi tried not to be distracted, but they could not stop calling out to her Brother.
"Sister, let us help you."
"What can we do, brother?"
"Sister..."
"Ck," Airi clucked. He glanced at them sharply. The shorter male on the left, the tallest black-haired one in the middle, the rest of the female on the right.
They bow their heads. Airi was sure it was out of fear for Jizo, not her.
"Who are your names?"
"Daren."
"Shiga."
"Kouni."
Names are mentioned in order from left to right.
"Alright, whatever," Airi responded.
"The men take off your clothes, dry there." Airi pointed at a long rope tied in two bars apart.
"Women, wait here. Change clothes. Don't let anyone get the flu."
Airi left them just like that to take her spare t-shirt in the bag. He left it to the girl he now knows named Kouni.
"Replace your clothes with this. It must be uncomfortable." Airi thrust it half-heartedly. Jizo still did not respond to anything. Busy resting on trees. However, his eyes observed every move.
Airi could feel it.
"Thank you, brother!"
"Thank you, sister Airi!"
"Oh, whatever."
After that, Airi asked Daren and Shiga to move the blankets she had rubbed with Kouni to rinse. This is indeed more effective and fast, but from the beginning this is the result of their actions.
Airi was not sure if she should thank him or not for it. The girl was silent for the rest of the job while the three teenagers seemed to find a new game instead.
"What did Jizo do to you?" Airi asked on the sidelines of the last squeeze of a blanket ready to be dried. Kouni who was now standing next to him coughed for a moment.
Airi recorded the reaction and interpreted it as her brain had guessed.
"He's... That brother..."
"Say, he's not gonna fuck around." Airi convinced him because judging from the Kouni giraffe who stole a glance at Jizo, the girl still felt anxious.
"No. Its alright. We deserved it! We are guilty!" Instead of continuing the statement, Kouni instead made another appeal.
Airi looked at him flatly. It's just free to dance tofu. It's no use. Most importantly, now the task was almost complete.
Airi took over the blanket in Kouni's hand. "Go home. Get your two friends out of here."
"I'm done," he continued.
"really?! Yahoo!"
Kouni's eyes glowed, making Airi want to get rid of him from here right now.
"Shiga! Darren! Come per—"
"Who let you go?" Kouni's speech that was accompanied by a smile sank suddenly. Airi who was drying the blanket turned her head when she heard Jizo's voice coming from behind the blanket.
The man had been good to survive without a sound from earlier. What's he gonna do now?
"You guys get this over with. It must be finished before the gates close."
Daren, Shiga, and Kouni go headlong together. Airi frowned. Oh, my God, whatever.
"Hey, padlock. You're not coming home?"
Airi pretends to be deaf. He was still patting the blanket that had been so big on the clothesline.
"Dam! Miss Airi!"
"Airi, are you really deaf now?"
"Want me to help you hear?"
Airi shuddered as Jizo spoke right beside her ear. The meaning of his gaze was a signal for Jizo to step aside. But, Jizo remains Jizo. The man chuckled satisfied.
"All right, take care of this. I'm the one who left." Airi without further ado, left the place.
There is no point in replying to every treatment Jizo. Airi was exhausted.
The girl sat on the bench where she had put the bag. She looked at the edge of her skirt that had turned brown. It was dry, but still disgusting.
Airi was just about to check her cell phone when she found out that Jizo was also following her here. He's tickling. What else, Jizo? What again?!
"Don't deliberately keep your distance like today." Jizo settled himself beside Airi. The girl did not budge, continuing to open her mailbox. A small smile found the reply from the father had finally arrived.
"Dad has arrived."
It was just that and Airi felt very relieved.
Jizo shuffled his orange juice can, Airi was still busy with her phone.
"I know you don't have any chatter mates other than me in class."
It's not like they ever had a real conversation, Jizo. Airi was deep, yet still ignored her.
"I know people bother you if I'm not around you."
Oh, look who do you think is wrong? Thanks to Jizo, he was an easy target to play with.
"I'm tau—"
"Jizo, stop meddling in my business or anyone else's business."
"Don't you care. It doesn't affect anything." Airi cut it off before Jizo spoke more useless things.
Airi was not interested in her vision of mission.
The man next to her laughed loudly. The reaction she always used was either for any sentence that came out of Airi's lips.
Airi tidied up her stuff. He got up without saying anything to Jizo. Oh, the girl turned her head once for the last time.
"Make sure they put the bucket and brush back into place." Airi glanced at the three lovebirds who were busy drying blankets. He signaled to Jizo, if he has already contributed, then finish it.
Afterwards, Airi stepped away from Jizo who was now sitting alone with his favorite orange juice.
