Ch.384 - Qilin Lightning

Xiang Yang looked up, staring at the suddenly exposed clouds, revealing the figure of a large-bodied creature.

"What's that?!" Xiang Yang had never seen such a huge creature.

The figure looked like a horse with four legs, but its posture was like a dragon.

Calling the creature a horse would obviously be wrong because the creature had steel-like scales, from its neck to its head like a dragon with two forked horns as well as two long catfish-like whiskers.

But Xiang Yang was also unsure of calling it a dragon because obviously no dragon had a horse-like body shape. At least that's what Xiang Yang knew.

"He is the Spirit Beast the guardian of the Heavenly Fractional Crystal. The Spirit Beast that had the bloodline of an Ancient Dragon, the Lightning Qilin!"

The voice of the Yin-Yang God sounded within Xiang Yang's head.

"Qilin Lightning!" Xiang Yang had only first heard the name of such a Spirit Beast.

"How's Yang'er? After seeing the Lightning Qilin, are you sure you can defeat it?"

"Wouldn't find out before trying it," although Xiang Yang did have almost no confidence to win against the Qilin, yet his determination was still unshakable.

"The pressure is strong! Even I can feel the Golden Dragon's power inside my body shaking!" Xiang Yang had not expected the strength of his Golden Dragon to be subjected to this kind of suppression.

"Is the Golden Dragon's bloodline weaker than this Lightning Qilin?" muttered.

"No, actually the Golden Dragon bloodline is much stronger than should the Qilin blood. It's just that you obtained a drop of the Golden Dragon's blood essence, whereas that Lightning Qilin indeed purely has its own bloodline! If you get a little more Golden Dragon blood essence then you won't get any pressure from that Lightning Qilin!"

"So so!"

"Actually the main reason you can get the pressure is because you haven't fully awakened the full potential of your Golden Dragon bloodline!"

"Not fully awakened yet?!" Xiang Yang was surprised, he wanted to ask his teacher again but stopped his intention because the Lightning Qilin was starting to make a sound.

"Little creature, I can feel the rest of the Dragon's power in your body! Were you the one who used the power of the Dragon?"

The moment the Lightning Qilin sensed the existence of the other Dragons, it immediately moved there to search for the source of the existence.

But he suddenly felt the dragon's power disappear, but he still flew towards where the Dragon's power was last.

Once there, he saw a giant ball of ice. He thought maybe inside there was a place where the creature that possessed the power of the Dragon was located because its spiritual senses could not penetrate that ice ball.

He also charged into the ice ball until it shattered, revealing several dead Nirwana Lightning Eagles and the figure of a strange little creature with no Spirit Beast aura emanating from it.

The thing that blocked the spiritual sense of the Lightning Qilin was not because of the Yin-Yang Xiang Yang Domain, but rather because of the Yin-Yang God.

The Yin-Yang God did this so that the Lightning Qilin did not directly attack the giant ice ball until it was destroyed the first time it saw it.

Indeed even though the Yin-Yang God said it would not help Xiang Yang in dealing with the problem. He said the problem his student was causing had to be solved on his own.

Yet he still helped Xiang Yang several times secretly.

Xiang Yang took a deep breath and then threw it away. He set his breath to completely relax his body and mind.

Xiang Yang instantly turned into a dragon form. He was already prepared to put up a fight to test just how far his current strength was.

The eyes of the Lightning Qilin narrowed feeling the pressure of the dragon being so intense, on par with her. And not just one but two dragon powers that little creature has.

"Where are you from? I as the ruler of the Lightning Valley know of all the living beings living in my territory! But I never saw you!" Lightning Qilin let out a heavy sound, clearly giving a threat, even a small groan could be heard adding to the intensity of the pressure exerted.

"You must be from the Valley of the Dark! Tell me you were sent by that snake so I can eat you soon!"

"Take that? I don't know who you mean by snakes, but I'm not from the Dark Valley, nor from the Lightning Valley or the Central Region!" Xiang Yang replied casually, although in reality he could not relax in this situation.

"Not from three regions? Then where did you come from?"

After that Lightning Qilin thought for a moment, it was indeed almost impossible for Xiang Yang Xiang Yang to be from the Middle Region, what else is the Dark Valley.

An existence that possessed a powerful bloodline like Xiang Yang would definitely not choose to stay in the Central Region which clearly had limited resources.

Whereas in the Dark Valley it was even more impossible because the 'snake' would definitely eat a creature that had a bloodline on par with it.

The snake will not allow any creature that threatens its existence as the ruler of the Dark Valley to be threatened by creatures living in its territory.

Then did Xiang Yang come from somewhere hidden in the Dong Jian Dimension?

But Xiang Yang's reply afterwards made his eyes widen.

"I am from outside the Dong Jian Dimension!"

Suddenly the Lightning Qilin disappeared in its place, leaving a flash of lightning at the previous place.

Xiang Yang widened his eyes as he felt the existence of the Lightning Qilin directly above him.

His movements were so fast even though his body was huge.

Yin-yang Shield!

Dozens of layers of Yin-Yang shields were formed above Xiang Yang, intending to withstand any sort of lightning Qilin attack.

But unfortunately the Lightning Qilin did not attack Xiang Yang from above but from the side muttered its long tail.

*BAAMM!!

*HOOOMMM!!

One tail flutter caused Xiang Yang to bounce back against the mountain until it was destroyed.

A flash of light seemed to come out from the eyes of the Lightning Qilin.

Suddenly the rumbling of thunder sounded louder and more intense than before. A moment later, dozens of ferocious lightning bolts struck out simultaneously.

This area of the Lightning Valley Forest was the central area of the Lightning Valley. The extreme weather in this forest was created due to the Lightning Qilin continuously expending its energy, making it able to control the lightning at will without wasting its own energy.

"Little creature, I know you're alive! You have now seen my strength, if you want to stay alive then tell me how to get out of the Dong Jian Dimension?!"

Lightning Qilin was already tens of thousands of years old being in the Dong Jian Dimension with a late stage Half Immortal cultivation level.

Lightning Qilin knew he could not break through to the next level because of this Dong Jian Dimensional principle. He thought if he could break out of the Dong Jian Dimension then he could break through to the next level, which was the Immortal level.

Yet the Lightning Qilin did not know how to get out of the Dong Jian Dimension even after thousands of years of searching for a way.

Now that he had met a creature claiming to be from outside the Dong Jian Dimension, he thought it knew how to get out so he posed a threat to it.
