Ch.412 - Yamata No Orochi

Xiang Yang and Lin Qi'er continued their journey. Several times they were attacked by Spirit Beasts but they could deal with it easily.

What amazed Xiang Yang was that all the Spirit Beasts in the Dark Valley had elemental attributes containing Yin elements such as ice element, darkness element, wind element and some other elements.

This was likely influenced by the conditions of the Dark Valley whose every corner contained the natural energy of the Yin element.

Within the land of the Dark Valley, there must be many Dark Element Crystals. Xiang Yang naturally wanted him to increase his comprehension on the element of darkness, but it was a pity that there was no time to gather so many resources.

As Xiang Yang and Lin Qi'er had only reached halfway, the two of them stopped suddenly with a wary attitude.

Xiang Yang turned his head up, feeling a very pure stream of profound energy.

"This is what makes me so hard to fight him, he can somehow control nature no matter where he is!" Lin Qi'er's words indicated if Orochi had known of their arrival and was coming soon.

Lin Qi'er could also control the state of nature, yet it could only happen in the Lightning Valley Forest which was his residence. If it was outside the forest then Lin Qi'er would not be able to do it.

"Perhaps an existence that could affect the power of that realm was because they gained the power of the Twillight Orb," Xiang Yang muttered.

Not long after, the profound energy gathered in the sky turned into black clouds.

However it clearly did not look like a black cloud in general, as the black cloud actually had a pitch-black color like ink.

"Yin's Energy?" Xiang Yang could feel the purity of the Yin energy was above the purity of his Yin energy.

"Although your Yin energy is purer, don't think it can make you dominate my Yin-Yang energy even more!" Xiang Yang raised his right hand then let out a surge of Yin-Yang energy with a very wide range.

The Yin-Yang energy collided with the black clouds.

"Destroyed!" Xiang Yang clenched his hands.

Instantly the black clouds were smashed apart without a remnant.

"HHHHHHHH!!"

Suddenly a snake sounded from below.

A snake figure came out from within the ground with its mouth open, ready to swallow Xiang Yang alive.

Xiang Yang would have already noticed this so he reacted quickly, hitting the air giving off a fireball.

The fireball entered the snake's mouth, burning its body from the inside. The snake wriggled for a while before burning to ashes.

Dozens of Snakes reappeared and Xiang Yang had always dealt with it easily.

"What's this one really?"

"It's not actually a living thing. The snakes were created because of Orochi's special technique. Indeed the inside looks exactly the same as a living thing that has a skin of blood and flesh, only it has no bones, an energy core and absolutely no life energy in it!" Lin Qi'er explained.

"Oh, what an interesting."

"Haha! Didn't think you'd come by yourself to the Dark Valley, the Lightning Qilin! You're usually going to hide in your territory!"

Suddenly a strange voice sounded. The sound may be echoing or it may be a sound spoken by several people simultaneously.

Xiang Yang and Lin Qi'er turned towards the side and found a pitch-black giant snake figure with 10 heads. On each of the snake's heads was something like a black crystal.

"It's been a long time Orochi! You still look like normal!" Lin Qi'er stared intently at Orochi.

Each Orochi's head let out a sound at the same time, giving off a strange taste.

"Be careful with his voice, his voice can cause mental disturbances to create illusions! It was Orochi's natural strength."

"I know, there's no need to warn me!" Xiang Yang smiled widely then slightly advanced forward, "you don't need to interfere with Qi'er, let me face him myself!"

Xiang Yang wanted to try his new strength against a being stronger than Lin Qi'er, Orochi the Demon Beast.

Lin Qi'er raised his eyebrows, "fine if that's what you want, I'll just be quietly watching your fight."

Lin Qi'er thought that if Xiang Yang was killed by Orochi then he could escape Xiang Yang's control.

After that fight, Orochi would definitely also get injured and he could use it to kill Orochi.

That way he could become the sole ruler of the Dong Jian Dimension.

But a moment later Lin Qi'er was stunned at the thought of something. His goal was to get out of the Dong Jian Dimension, if Xiang Yang died then he could not get out of the Dong Jian Dimension.

It used to be that he did have the goal of becoming the sole ruler of the Dong Jian Dimension, yet it had now changed. He wanted to come out of this Dong Jian Dimension.

So he couldn't let Xiang Yang die.

"Did you finally raise a dog and make it strong until you could fight me? Lightning Qilin, you're too naive!"

"You're pretty noisy Orochi, so I'm going to chop your mouth off!" Xiang Yang took out his Spiritual Wing.

Time Manipulation! Speed 5 Times Fold!

*Wooosschh!

Xiang Yang shot out at high speed, in an instant he was already in the presence of one of the Orochi heads, as if he was teleporting.

*BOOOMMMMM!!

One powerful blow struck Orochi's head, sending him bouncing backwards, until all his heads were blown away.

Before Orochi's body hit the ground, Xiang Yang again hit one of his heads, making his head embedded into the ground.

"BABI*NGAN!" Orochi bellowed furiously then detonated his energy, making Xiang Yang forcibly bounce back.

Orochi quickly rose up then spouted Yin energy from all of his mouth as if spitting out a black laser.

"Very slow," Xiang Yang simply smiled faintly and dodged all those attacks easily.

The gush of Yin energy from Orochi's mouth came out endlessly, splitting the land until it smashed the mountain easily.

"He still seems to be able to see my movements. Then..."

Time Manipulation! Speed 10 Times Fold!

Xiang Yang moved increasingly faster. Orochi now could not see Xiang Yang's movements that were too fast, his eyes could not keep up with Xiang Yang's movements.

Even though the real Xiang Yang was growing faster, yet inexplicably Xiang Yang felt that his movement speed had not increased at all. But instead, he saw whatever movements he saw all slowed down.

"When I just speed up the timeline of my movements, but why do I see everything slowing down? It's weird!"
