Controller 2 (Part 2)

"Dissolving the bandits proved to be no challenge. We gathered their swords, spears and bows and gathered them in one place. I kicked that shitty bandit somewhere else. Even an adult man would fly about five meters if I kicked them seriously. I feel some of my aggravation fade after kicking them."

(“It looks like it went pretty well.”)

"I called the other group members."

(“You are amazing Alan-san! That's too cool!”) 

"Beck and Thor, who were just staring blankly at the commotion on the carriage earlier, made a fuss again."

"Oh, right!"

(“Daddy, Thor. You can choose any sword you like from the pile there.”) 

"I point to the weapons we confiscated from the bandits."

(“Yes! We got some swords! Hurry Thor!”) 

"The two of them jumped off the carriage excitedly. It's okay even if you're not in a hurry. The sword's not going anywhere."

"No more detection responses in those areas. Beck and Thor swing swords and seem busy choosing what they like."

"I approached the captured bandit. Some of them had already recovered from the pain caused by my spell and were sitting on the ground in dumbfounded silence. Since they were hit by fire arrows, they didn't really bleed much."

"The movement ransacked their pockets in search of cash."

(“A-I left all my money back in hiding so I don't have any money now!”) 

"One of the grunts suddenly confessed. Hou, so these guys have a base huh. Fascinating."

"The other grunts took out all the money they had in their pockets and handed it over. It was all just bronze and silver coins."

"I don't really know how much prize money we'll get in exchange for these guys and just try to bluff. But it seems like they were completely sure in the end."

"I was just playing with them."

"When I showed a grunt, they all made a fuss and jostled each other to answer my question."

(“The base is like that. About five miles from here. It was an abandoned goblin burrow!”)

(“Daddy, Thor. Raise your sword and watch these people. If they move too much muscle, slash them immediately. This will be very useful as a slashing exercise. You don't often get opportunities like this.”)

"Well, these two people must look excited. They might actually cut them, you know."

"I'm sure this bandit will remain obedient after hearing all that. Let's go."

(Long Distance Running Mode)

"Confessed."

"I went deep into the mountains running."

"I soon found goblins digging up the previously mentioned bandits. I got three human signatures after activating the scanning magic. It seems like this is really the place. I approached carefully."

"I found two men standing guard at the cave entrance, talking excitedly to each other. This looks like a great opportunity. God, all the plans on how to save the captives were for naught. It's kind of silly."

"I just approach them openly. It seems like they still haven't noticed me."

(“Yo! You bandits?”) 

"I called them as I approached. Looks like I finally got all their attention after I called them."

(“Who are you!?”) 

(“Colah.I asked first. Are you bandits?”) 

(“Stop there!”) 

"Man, this must be a hassle. Screws then."

"I just released the fire arrows and hit the right shoulder of the bandits with them. They fell from great pain. I kicked the back of their heads like I did to their previous leader and knocked them unconscious. It takes care of that."

"When I entered the burrow, I noticed that it was not as dirty as I first thought. The smell is not too bad either. I proceed towards the location of the response I got earlier."

"There are a few holes in the walls in some places that allow sunlight to enter the cave. It looks like they made it with proper lighting. There are many rooms, but most are empty. Some of them just have trash in them."

"I finally found the merchant in question. He was placed in the very back room with his hands and feet tied. It was a middle-aged man. He looks about 50 years old. He also seems to be the educated type. Let's try talking to him."

(“This may sound unbelievable, but I'm not a bandit. I heard about you from the bandits and came to save you.”) 

(“Oh, I'm finally saved! ...I managed to remember the faces of each of those bandits so I can tell you not one of them. Are you perhaps an adventurer?”) 

(“No, I'm not an adventurer. But I was assigned to guard the merchant carriage. We were attacked by those bandits along the way. After we beat back and caught them, I came to find out that you were kept in their hiding place, so I came to save you.”) 

"I cut the rope that tied the man to my knife."

(“I'm really grateful for your timely help! I will return this favor without fail. ”) 

"The merchant stated while rubbing the places where the rope stuck to his skin."

(“No, it's true that I came here partly to save you, but my main goal was to secure the loot collected by those bandits. That's why I came here from the beginning. ”) 

(“Ahaha, you're an honest boy. I'm guessing you'll be interested in that. Even I would have done it if I was in your position, young man. Oh, forgive me for late introduction. I am Tarus, a merchant and general store owner in the city.”)
