Controller 2 (Part 1)

(“Alright, I'll do my best today too!”) 

"Twenty days have passed since we departed from the village of Talas. We haven't encountered much trouble during the trip so far. We, however, were attacked several times by monsters."

"We were attacked by Grey Hounds twice. We were also attacked by that green-skinned midget humanoid creature. They are called Goblins. Six of them appeared before us and attacked us while shouting *gukyaa, gukyaa as usual. They seem to be much less dangerous than Grey Hounds. I used them as target practice for my Flame Arrow homing spell and finished them all off at once."

"We also passed two other villages along the way. Since Beck knew them, we were warmly welcomed. They seem to have the same scale as the village of Talas."

"We went through many roads and met many other travelers along the way. They were mostly merchants and adventurers."

"According to Cleria and Beck, an adventurer is a profession that does jobs such as extermination of pests, collecting raw materials and serving as a mercenary. I don't really think those things have anything to do with having adventures, but they are called adventurers for some reason."

"Eventualers have a ranking system, and high-ranking individuals seem to be highly respected people. It might be a good idea to be an adventurer if I ever have a problem putting food on the table in the future."

"Beck and the others are also awake."

(“Good morning. Sir, Alan-san.”) 

(Beck and Thor come to call Cleria 'Master'. It seemed that Cleria also disliked the way the two of them greeted her.)

"Beck and Thor's sword skills continue to improve day by day. However, even if they had practiced swordsmanship for at least two hours every day, they were still unable to face two goblins at the same time. Obviously, fighting the Grey Hound would be a tough task for both."

"Finally, I managed to obtain twelve human signatures as far as 1500 meters away. The person from earlier seemed to be heading towards that group of twelve."

"Your, how suspicious. Looks like the person who just came back to the group to report about us. Looks like these guys are the bandits that Zack warned me about."

(“Ria, I detected at least thirteen people who were 1500 meters away from us. They may be bandits.”) 

(“Eh!? You can actually detect them from that far away? ”) 

"Oh yeah. I haven't told you much about my scanning magic, have I?"

(“Yes, I can tell. What will we do with them?”) 

(“Well, we certainly can't go back to the way we came. Alan and I should be able to face those thirteen people.”) 

"Well, he's right. Handling them would not be a problem if we used magic, and we would definitely win after I use my rifle."

(“Well, it's not like I fully confirm them as bandits. But is it okay for us to just kill bandits? ”) 

"It feels kind of bad for some reason."

(“Why not? After all, they are all criminals. ”) 

"Un, it seems like it was a mistake to ask Cleria."

(“Beck! Stop the train!”) 

"We told Beck about the suspected bandit up front. Beck and Thor became very panicked afterwards."

(“Hey, is it okay for us to kill the bandits? That won't cause us any trouble later? ”) 

(“No, no, Alan-san! There are thirteen of them, right!? I don't know how exactly you managed to get their number, but you can't possibly face thirteen bandits at once!”)

"Beck started to panic again when I started to consider catching the bandits."

(“It will be fine. Trust your Teacher. We'll bring the people back to the village some souvenirs with the prize money. ”) 

(“Let's do this Beck! Sir and Alan-san will definitely be fine.”) 

"It looks like we managed to persuade Thor by mentioning a souvenir yes."

(“Un. Let's do it!”) 

(“This will be fine. I promised Zack. I'll protect you guys by all means.”) 

"We've decided to continue the bandit's arrest plan."

"We headed for the train again. First, we have to make sure those guys are really bandits. If we attack them by accident, we will be branded as bandits."

(“200 meters again.”) 

"I announce our distance from the target. Me and Cleria were sitting in the trunk at the back of the train."

"I enlarged the target. They tried to hide themselves, but I managed to see two people on top of the tree. The others are still hiding and not in visual range."

"Cleria raised her hand forward and got ready."

"Suddenly, a group of men came out to block the road. There's seven up ahead. Four in the back. Two on top of the tree get ready to attack as well."

(“Who are you, people !?”) 

"I stood up from the trunk and spoke to them. I know what it really is, but it's just standard procedure."

(“Wah! Just take the baby there! He looks high quality!”) 

"I was kind of upset when these people didn't respond to my questions properly and instead talked amongst themselves."

(“Yer correct. That girl will make a lot of money, I guess.”) 

"It seems like there's no point in talking to these people. I was tempted to turn it into money. Stay calm, me."

(“I've just asked a lot who you are!”) 

"I just lost it."

(“Can't you know just by looking at it, stupid! We bandits!” nameless grunt A replied arrogantly.) 

"At that moment, thirteen fire arrows appeared around me and flew towards the bandits at once. I also aimed my rifle at the people hanging out in the trees, who were preparing to shoot arrows at us. One of them panicked and hurriedly shot an arrow at us."

"A moment after the sound of gunfire from my rifle was heard, the arrow that the man released was shattered. I aimed my rifle at someone else, but he had already fallen from the tree branch after receiving the blow from the fire arrow. The man who shot the arrow followed him."

"I aimed my rifle at the other bandits, but they were already writhing in pain from being hit by my fire arrow on their right shoulder. With this, it's all over."

(“Ria, disarm them!”) 

"I jumped down from the carriage and instructed Cleria with a shout."

"Cleria was stunned for a moment but jumped down the carriage as well after a while when she heard my voice."
