Albert and the others had entered into the forest, just then they heard the voices of people fighting. The howls of wolves and monsters could be heard but, minutes later, their voices disappeared instantly.
"They're still warm" Albert said, touching the body of a dead lycan.
He himself inspected the bodies of the lycan. They were all still in a warm state, in other words they had just been killed. But the question marks still popped up in his head.
Who killed these lycans?
"Have any of you found anything?" Albert turned around and asked the others.
Madam Celine, Helena and Lou were examining the corpses of the goblins not far from there and the other two disciples were checking around the area.
"We didn't find anything."
"I am too." After finding nothing, they returned.
Anyone who had killed these monsters was definitely not a random person. Albert was convinced that the one who had killed them was not one of the children of this academy, looking at their age. If one of the disciples could kill all of them in a fairly quick time, then it was certain that he was a disciple with an unusual fighting technique.
They all died without any magic scars, just huge incisions on their bodies.
"Celine, did you find anything?" ask Albert to Celine.
"I found nothing, only the corpse of this goblin that was lying not far from the pile of lycan."
"It's so weird." Albert looked at Celine and turned back, staring at Lycan's body. "Helena are you sure that the one who helped you was a girl?"
Helena quickly replied, "I'm so sure! If not, then I might bring you here."
"These monsters died without any magic wounds on their bodies a single one, someone used a sharp object to kill them."
"Are you sure about that, Mr Albert?"
"I'm sure of it.."
The size of the wound on the body of the lycan looks quite deep, the weapon used must be very sharp.
Appears curiosity and interest in people who are still question marks. Whoever he is he'll look for until he gets it.
The rain did not dampen the tense atmosphere that was there. Celine then approached Albert and whispered in his ear, "What if we get over this thing here? If it were to leak out and be known to others then it would be a big deal."
"But it looks like we have to increase the number of guards in the backyard and fence the place between the forest and the academy."
"I get. I'll socialize with the principal about it."
The night is getting darker and colder, Albert and Celine plan to put an end to the matter. It would be dangerous for Lou and the others if they continued to be inside the forest. There are many monsters that have night vision here.
They turned around and told Lou and the others to return to their respective dormitories.
"...And remember one thing! This matter should not be leaked and heard by anyone. Do you guys understand?"
"Good!"
Finally, they all returned to the academy even with their clothes that had been drenched by the rainwater. Helena simply asked who had helped her and killed those monsters. He was eager to meet her and say thank you in front of her face.
Whoever you are I wish I could meet you.
...*********...
After running around the academy, Eli was finally able to get out of the forest and reach the backyard of the princess dormitory.
It settles so as not to cause a sound that will wake the sleeping student, because the walls of the dormitory are not too thick and can absorb little sound.
"Some of them seem to have gone to sleep, I can see from the lights of their dead room."
He stopped and looked into one of the rooms.
That's her!
The room he could easily find. Before leaving he forgot to turn off the lights so his room lights kept on.
"How do I get up there?" eli asked, looking at the window of his room in confusion.
He scratched his head before an idea came up.
With his 'Cannibal' ability he can climb that wall. He used his nails to hold the cracks that were on each wall and hung until he reached his room.
"It doesn't hurt to try." Eli took a swing.
[Skill: 'Cannibal' activated]
He immediately jumped towards the wall and grabbed the gap that was there.
–Kreak.
The sound of cracks appeared every time his nails entered into the cracks of the walls. However, Eli doesn't seem to care that he only cares about himself.
He hung on the wall and went up to the top. The room was on the second floor so it was a bit difficult to grab it.
"A little..again."
With his efforts, he managed to grab onto the window of his room. He opened it and went into his room.
"Fuhhhh." eventually."
Eli looked around and nothing changed. It seemed like no one had set foot in his room in the slightest since he left the academy. It's a little strange to him, it seems 'they' haven't checked up on him until here.
Of course all he entered were the supervisors of the academy.
I better turn off the lights first. He walked in his wet school shirt and put out the lantern hanging beside the door.
–Click.
No one will suspect him anymore.
"It's late at night I have to change my clothes and go to bed soon."
He rushed into the bathroom and changed his clothes. It seems that he needs to use his other school clothes, because if he washes his clothes now then tomorrow his clothes will not dry.
Eli prepared his bathtub, filled it with warm water plus some roses.
After which, he directly submerged his body into the tub.
"Ahhhhh...comfort~"
His adventure this time really made his body go numb. The warm tub water seemed to destroy and find a sense of fatigue in his body, united into the bathtub. Eli closed his eyes and leaned his head against the edge of the bathtub.
His mind became clear, there was no sense of anything to think about a thing. All of this is done for today.
As time went on and minutes passed, Eli was done with his warm bath.
"It looks like the rain won't stop until tomorrow. A thick nightgown would seem nice to warm my body." He took his red nightshirt and patterned flowers.
–Buk!
Eyes closed slowly until his eyes closed perfectly. Her beautiful face shone even in her dark room.
.......
.......
"Hey, did you hear the news today?"
"About what?"
"Didn't you know about Helena? He was one of the supervisors of the academy" one student said, "...I heard he was attacked by a bunch of goblins last night."
Several other students and students opened their mouths wide, shocked by it.
"How does it go next? Is he able to defeat those monsters or is he the one who got hurt?" ask a student with curiosity.
"I heard he was almost killed by them but he said, a girl came and killed the monsters. He not only killed the goblins but, killed the lycans who were in the forest."
"Whoa! It's beyond suspicion."
The atmosphere in the morning was quite busy, many students passed by in the school corridor. Most of them gathered in the corners of the corridor while talking about something.
The news of Helena Bonham, a near-death academy supervisor being attacked by a swarm of goblins spread so quickly. I don't know what makes this news can be heard from one mouth to another, even though the teacher has tried to cover it.
"I wonder who that girl is?"
"Don't expect too much to meet him, even the teachers still don't know the girl's whereabouts."
"Oh yeah, I heard that the lycan bodies that the guards found in the back forest are already skinned."
"Ihhhhh! It's disgusting."
The first lesson hour had been completed, normally the disciples would wander around in the academy to spare a bit of their time. Not many of them eat the provisions they bring while chatting with their friends.
After last night's incident, Eli returns to his usual life.
Today he is in the library along with Florence.
Florence nodded her head, staring at the book in front of the table intently. Florence is a typical girl who cannot travel alone, she must always be accompanied. Today Samuel is with his friends in a magic practice class and he has no time to accompany Florence.
"Elizabeth, can you help me?"
"What?" Elizabeth raised her head and looked at the courtyard that Florence pointed at her.
"What always comes, but never comes back?" florence said, reading the book while showing it to Elizabeth.
Looks like it's a puzzle book.
Eli replied, "Tomorrow." And looked back at the book he was reading.
"Tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow will always come whenever and wherever. But when it's past, tomorrow will never come back."
Tomorrow will never return and when it has passed, it will be called 'Yesterday'.
Florence nodded, "Oh so so..." He looked back at the book he had read, opening a new page.
"Aren't you tired of reading the same book all the time?"
"Finally, this book is so interesting. I really like puzzles."
"Well, you're this base."
Florence loves puzzle books. At least there is a shelf full of such books in this library. Not many students read it because they think they will waste a lot of time reading it. How many students protested to the library guards to replace the shelves with history and magic textbooks, but did not get approval from the academy.
"Elizabeth, have you heard from Helena Bonham?"
Elizabeth only moves her eyeballs, she already knows it first compared to Florence or any other student. But he acted as if he didn't know about it.
"No, I don't know at all. What's happened already?"
"Really!? You don't know at all!" florence shouted involuntarily while pounding the table she was wearing with Eli.
Of course the library guard got angry and shouted, "Miss Florence! Keep your mouth!" And the girl was silent and smiled shyly.
Elizabeth did not think about this one friend.
"Are you unable to shrink the volume of your voice?"
"Pardon me, I'm in shock because you have absolutely no idea about today's news."
Eli just rolled his eyeballs, "I'm not interested." And looked back at the book he had read.
Florence just kept quiet and stared back into her book. He occasionally looked at Elizabeth who was seriously reading the book in front of him. For a few days now he felt that if something changed in Elizabeth, he seemed so calm compared to him.
He played with both his index fingers and said. "It seems you've changed, Elizabeth."
Elizabeth was silent, pretending not to listen.
"Why does your face look so radiant today than it usually does."
"Is that so?"
"Just look around you...Many of the disciples who had just glanced at you."
Elizabeth quietly closed the book she was reading, moved her eyeballs and looked to the right side. At the window-side table were several girls gossiping and whispering, their eyes met with Elizabeth and they immediately threw their faces away.
Eli did not understand why they were looking at him with strange gazes, nor was the group of young boys not far behind them. After looking at her, they threw away their faces with timid expressions.
'Why are they staring at me like that? Is there something wrong with my face?'
"Just say it" said Florence.
I don't know why what they did made Elizabeth feel uncomfortable. He did not like being watched secretly.
"It seems they have no manners at all" Eli said, closing his book and passing away.
"Where are you going?"
"Class."
Florence closes her book, not forgetting that she returns it to the shelf and immediately follows Elizabeth out of the library.
Meanwhile, a group of schoolgirls and students returned to gossip. They seem to be talking about something very interesting.
"Hey, did you see it?"
"Of course, princess Elizabeth is so beautiful today."
"Somehow the charisma from him stood out so much, there couldn't be anything that didn't happen with him."
"The more I come here to see that Princess Elizabeth is growing up. I mean he looks a lot calmer than before."
"I feel so too...I wonder what happened to that girl."
"Of that, we don't have to talk about it anymore" said the other girl, closing the conversation.
