Queen of Avalon: Adventure Solo

Queen of Avalon: Adventure Solo
Chapter 20's

No one can predict what will happen in the future, no one. Life runs like a wheel of luck and happiness is just a bonus.

After that long conversation the three of us returned to the village. The three of us got a warm welcome from the other elves.

They've been gathering at Erendriel's old man's house ever since.

Of course, I told Erendriel and Visati that I can't linger here, I have to go home.

But, damn, I said too loud.

"DORH!"

"You want to go home?"

Amon and the others looked at me sadly as well as the other elves. I know that my arrival here is very important, I am like a dream that they have been waiting for and finally realized as well.

But there must be something I need to finish.

"That's right, I'm sorry. For the next few days I can't visit you guys because there's something I need to get done."

"B-but.wouldn't it be better if you stayed here?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't."

"Colah~"

The little elves pleaded with me in a clear tone. Refusing their request would definitely make their hearts break, but what was the difference with me?

Surrounded by those you love, and I alone.

The talk I had been through was still ringing in my head making my brain throb because I thought about it too much.

It's nothing more like torture to me.

"The kids have stopped!" visati told them.

"You don't have to worry, Elizabeth's coming back she just needs to finish her business in her world, right?"

I nodded in response to Visati's statement.

"That's right, I'll be back."

"Are you coming back soon?"

"To be honest, I don't know. But I will try my best to get all my tasks done quickly."

I crouched down and equalized my body with Amon, giving him a warm hug.

"I promise I'll be back."

I could feel her hands touching my back and she buried her face. We both hugged for a long time.

It seemed that the incident made some of the other elves jealous.

The little elves swiftly hugged our still united bodies, all of them hugging each other.

So warm.

Their embracing hands and their bodies clinging to each other made the warmth between us even more pronounced. But in the end, I took off my arms from Amon's body.

"Before you leave how about you taste a little of our cooking?"

"I-I'm sorry but I-"

"Oahhhh! No need to be shy, just come eat with us. Everyone go to your kitchen and cook the most delicious dishes! We eat together!"

"HOEEEEEE!!"

All the elves went and entered their homes.

At that time, white smoke billowed out of the funnel of the people's home. They started cooking.

I just smiled and laughed looking at the woman who was embracing my shoulder. She was white and had long brown hair, her beautiful look made me blush in shame.

"All right if you force."

"Hehehehe.you sit here, yes! Don't go anywhere."

"I won't."

"Don't lie. I know just by looking at your eyes, you want to go home, right? Sit down first."

I sighed, I gave up and sat there with Amon and the other children. Erendriel went back into the room and Visati was still there, chatting with some female elves in the corner of the room.

They're so cheerful.

In the end, me and the elves ate the dish together. They laughed cheerfully and smiled without knowing what they were talking about, their hands were full of drinks and food, it tickled my stomach.

"How can they eat that much?"

Amon and his friends ran there and came here. Like children, they play games.

"How, son? Is it less?"

"I'm actually full."

All these dishes make me full. The reason I still can't stop my eating is because Amon and his friends are constantly pouring food into my mouth.

"So let's eat this!"

"This too, brother! This meat is delicious!"

"Let's eat again, brother!"

Looking at me, Erendriel immediately said. "Kids stop! You better eat with your mothers! Amon sit!" As soon as they scattered, each went to their parents.

"It seems that I need to teach those wayward kids some more manners."

"It doesn't have to be that way, they're just kids."

"Even so they need to be counseled."

"I know." said I sipped tea in my hand and drank it.

I hope this day will not end.

...********...

In front of the village gate I say goodbye to the elves. Ammon and the others were there, and they wept bitterly.

"Sister..don't go..."

"Yes sister.stay.here..hiks.."

"Stop crying, I promise you I'll come again."

"Promise yes" said Amon, holding out his little finger.

It seems Amon wants me to promise him seriously. I also hooked my little finger with hers.

"Promise."

I stood up and turned to look at the others, Erendriel and Visati were staring at me with their warm gazes. They walked past the elves blocking the way and stopped in front of me.

"Be careful on the road, son."

"You can come whenever you want. The world is open to you."

"Remember our words, Elizabeth."

I smiled at them, in my heart I did not intend to talk back to them. So, I just nodded and took a few steps back, I waved my hand and bid farewell.

"I'll go first!"

"See you, brother!"

"Son, I'll see you again!"

"Be careful on the road!"

I ran away from them. Even though I've run far enough they still don't seem tired of saying goodbye to me.

I'll be back. This is my promise.

All of today's experiences I can't forget yet, I don't intend to rethink the words of Erendriel and Visati for now.

Everything was clear and my path was now ahead of me.

As I was about to run with a dreamy face, a portal suddenly appeared in front of me. The right and left sides were just a very dense wilderness and this road I was walking down was heading straight towards the hill, where the cave I was passing by was located.

"That!"

It seems to be a portal so I can go back home.

All right.I'm home!

I brought my legs and body into the portal, and my vision darkened. Maybe because my way in and out is different, I feel so weird.

A few moments later my view became clear. I opened my eyes and looked around.

"This place.."

Going in or out seems like I'm going to keep going back to the same place.

Hah. I've been gone for a long time so, I wonder how long I've been gone.

"Why is the atmosphere so quiet? Is it still night?"

The sound of insects around the church convinced me that it was still night.

Good, with this surely the students are still in their dormitories.

I don't want to waste any more time, I want to rest. I opened the door of the church and it was raining.

"Ah yes, today is the rainy season so do not be surprised if this night it rains heavily."

I walked and broke through the rain, I had no other choice. However, the moment I intended to get out of there suddenly came a very loud voice from the right.

"!!"

It sounded like an explosion, but I thought. There was no way that any student would be able to wander at night like this, everyone would have already fallen asleep.

I immediately remembered that there were a handful of people who were likely still awake. They seemed to be patrolling around here but, the explosion still made me curious.

Whatisit?

I went straight to the source of the sound, the closer the clear sound of the explosion was heard. This time not once or grieve but repeatedly.

"Yatt!!"

I prepared myself when I heard that scream.

Something's not right.

I kept walking forward and I took a deep breath.

"!!"

Right in front of me a girl was fighting with a bunch of goblins.

...****************...

Helena had to sigh a lot, where hers was almost drained because she had used spells in every fight. However, he remains confident that he will win.

I can't lose here! They are just a bunch of goblins.

"Lear Fire!!"

He used his fire spell again, this time he cast a tier 2 spell. His Fire Spear came out and shot towards the goblins.

"KHUAKKKKKK!!"

"KHIAKKKKKKKK!!"

The goblins roared and cried out in pain but, just after the fire spear hit their bodies, they were charred to death and their bodies fell to the ground.

The goblin leader seemed not to be so pleased with the death of his companions.

"By!iiii!"

Helena realized that only the goblins were left alone.

He could see the creature jumping around with an angry expression. It seemed like he had provoked anger from her.

Here's time.

"Fire Ball!!"

Helena took out her fireballs, planning to end her fight and kill the goblin.

Swirl! Whoos!! The slash!!

Her eyes were astonished, Helena was sure that her fireball hit the creature. But unexpectedly, the goblin slashed all his fireballs.

Now that Helena's face was hardened, her eyes trembled with fear.

"T-can't be...d-he destroyed...my fire spell!?"

Dash!

The goblin ran and pulled out the dagger he was holding.

"Aah!"

Helena fell but she managed to avoid the creature's attack. He tried to get up but his body that had run out of mana made it difficult to stand up.

The goblin looked at himself with a bloodthirsty look, he really wanted the girl in front of him to die.

"Lou! Help me!"

"KHIAKKKKKK!!"

The creature ran and tried to attack Helena.

"Lou!!!"

CLANG!!

A body figure blocked the goblin's attack. Helena opened her eyes slowly and someone stood in front of her and prevented the goblin from killing her.

It took him a few seconds to realize that the figure was a girl.

"W-what?"

The blade that collided with the dagger from the goblin instantly stunned him. The fact that the sword that prevented his attack was much larger than his, made him both curious and angry with who he had dared to interfere in his fight.

"That's great. I can't wait for what kind of fight you'll give me."

He put away his sword so that the goblin could look him in the eye.

Their eyes meet.

Instantly the goblin's body trembled as if it was terrified staring at the enemy in front of it.

"Khikkk.."

"Why? Are you scared now?"

Woosh! Clangs!

The goblin made a distance with the girl, feeling the aura from her being so strong that she was convinced that the girl in front of her was no match for her.

Helena still could not believe what she saw.

Wh-what? Why did the goblin retreat and his face looked terrified.

"Who are you?"

Helena asked the girl in front of her.

The girl turned her face slightly and showed a sharp look at her eyes. Helena quivered, the girl did not look at herself completely and only showed her eyes, but she was frightened by the aura that enveloped the girl.

"Go away. It's not your fight and let me take care of that thing."

As the girl showed her sword to the goblin in front of her, the creature fled into the forest.

The girl ran after him.

"Wait-wait!"

Staying Helena herself there, she quickly stood up even though her body was not strong even to stand though.

"Wine! The goblin took him into the woods! I have to tell the others!"

He could not leave the girl alone against the goblin in the middle of the forest, in fact there were many terrible monsters that came out at night.

He ran to tell the others, even without realizing it was all for nothing.
