Chapter 19 - Danger

The rain is falling more and more. Helena and Lou speed up their steps, walking through the dark passageway after finishing with their affairs in the library warehouse.

If asked about the girl Lou was freezing, he had been taken care of by their other comrades. Luckily they met him on the way.

"We'll just go back, yuk."

"You don't need to be afraid, there's me beside you."

"But this place is so dark."

The hallway they passed was actually decorated by several torches hanging from the roof ceiling. However, due to the wind and heavy rain made them wobble, reducing the lighting in the place.

Helena realizes that Lou is too afraid of the dark.

"I will use my fire magic to light the way."

He stretched out his hand and a fireball appeared.

The light is quite bright and is able to illuminate the area around them.

"How's it?" ask Helena to Lou.

After that, they continued their journey.

The back yard is only an area that is rarely visited during the day, but on a clear night usually the students will come to the place. Its peaceful and calm atmosphere makes the place great for calming down.

After passing through several twists and aisles, they finally arrived at a staircase.

"Let's get down." Helena reached out her hand to Lou, afraid that she would stumble and fall.

"That's the weapon room, you check and count, is there a weapon missing or not? The list paper hangs on the wall."

"I'm going around in the back area, which is directly connected to the forest.

Lou was panicking at once.

"Don't!" He screamed and grabbed Helena's hand. "That place is dangerous, don't you know that this month's monsters always come out at night?"

Helena looked at Lou's face, she looked so serious. Lou and Helena were already good friends when the two of them had just entered this academy.

So it was no wonder that the girl in front of him was so worried about him.

But Helena is not her name if she is fearless.

"I'm fine, it's just that I slipped and fell earlier." Helena chuckled while scratching her hair.

Lou sighed. "Huh.thank God, I thought you were attacked by a monster."
