Himprayag
Nayantara snorted at her daughter's emotional response.
"For all your military accomplishments, you're still a little girl seeking your parents' affection and validation. Do you think the king has given you the same opportunity or has he ever treated you the same? Are you not aware of the obvious bias towards his bastard son? Who do you think I'm doing all this for? I'm not asking you to give up your dream of ruling Himprayag. I'm just helping you get a weapon that will ensure your victory. The Prince of Chambal would just be a front. I have full confidence in your ability to be able to control him and the country of both countries through him," he persuaded his daughter after the initial rant.
But Ahilya was fed up with her mother and her harsh words. Other than the king and Gayatri, no one knew about the proposed deal between Chandragarh and Himprayag and Ahilya did not want to tell her mother about it at this time. He didn't trust her enough to keep his mouth shut until the moment the agreement was signed.
"Mother, I think coming here was a mistake. This biting cold is not good for your aging limbs. Besides, after some fun planning last night, you must be tired. I'd suggest you rest in your room and recuperate. I'll send a message on your behalf to Chambal about our inability to receive it this week or earlier. You don't have to worry about your pretty head about it," her face smirked viciously.
As the queen's face paled in front of her daughter's rude behavior, Ailya spoke again,
"A last word before I let you go - Gayatri and Veer are my people. No one is allowed to touch them. Do you understand?" her eyes resembled sharp ice flakes and the queen involuntarily shivered, staring into them.
Ahilya did not bother waiting for her response and went in the opposite direction.

Late at night, Gurukul, Chandragarh
Although Prithvi is stuck with many important issues, his current focus is on the selected names in the final stage list. On the knock on the door, he frowned. Saraswati is getting out of control. He specifically instructed her that she should not be bothered for the next two hours and she had already dared to knock on her door.
"Lake in!" at her glacier-like voice, Saraswati shivered but she had no choice.
"Guruji!"
"Sarawati!"
Looking at the rumbling brows, he realized that his life was currently in danger.
"This is the most urgent and encrypted message that came from the royal palace along with a thick stack of papers. I've decoded the message. I was ordered to convey this to you immediately" he said all in one breath.
Words of reprimand died on Prithvi's lips and he snatched the material from his hands before barking,
"Get out!"
Without waiting, he came out in a hurry. Standing at the door, he patted her on the chest, comforting himself.
"He was always evil but now he is the incarnation of the devil. Unfortunately, it is too late for me to consider a job change. Oh, Moon God, have mercy on this poor soul," he gently exclaimed to himself.
Prithvi opened the message first and his eyebrows shot up in shock as he received the contents.
The message from the queen reads
"This is my first preference for QIT. Reasons mentioned in the document. Make sure he gets a nomination for entering the final round. Rest depends on his ability."
Prithvi reads and rereads the name again before realizing what the queen asked him to do. This round is the only part of the entire tournament when the candidate relies on the virtues of the stranger for his qualifications, not his abilities.
Although the zilla leader was supposed to be fair and impartial, everyone made the choice for their selfish reasons and not solely based on the qualifications of the candidate.
This made Prithvi recall the rumors he had heard for a long time. When Rani Samyukta was elected queen, she was a child.
But during her infancy, she caught some whispers about Rani Samyukta who had been the queen's personal choice before. Otherwise, which zilla chief would choose an orphan from the capital rather than someone influential or a person from their own zilla?
Since there was no evidence for this, the rumor died out naturally and then the queen's extraordinary appearance shut down all her detractors, at least in public. But holding a note in his hand now, he finally understood it. With a small smile, Prithvi grabbed a thick stack of parchment and was once again amazed.
There are detailed analyses and records of each contestant starting from stage 1. Even the smallest things are included in detail. He was once again impressed by the queen's hidden qualities.
Before and during the tournament, he had collected detailed reports on each participant but it looked like a memo when compared to this comprehensive document.
"If he's going to do this exercise, he could have told me, saved me a lot of time and energy and my staff" he grumbled to himself.
"Don't bother me for the next three hours" he shouted behind closed doors to his subordinates.

Next morning
Mriga was just about to go to the library when she got a message that Vandit was waiting for her downstairs.
"You looking for me? Are you fighting with him again?" Mriga asked flirtatiously, looking at Vandit's gloomy face.
He made a face to her and replied,
"Only if you knew that I was the love teacher who launched the ship of many lovers, would you not dare to speak to me in such a brash manner."
Mriga rolled her eyes at his overflowing version of narcissism and asked,
"Then are you here to launch my ship?"
Regardless of the answer, he continued in a rude manner,
"Why are you wasting my time with your bullshit? I have to go to the library and polish some policies and laws for the next competition."
"That's why I came to call you. Even though you are the only one fighting, it feels like in the end, the four of us will be qualified for the administrative examination as well. If you become a QIT, you better think of inducting us into your ministerial group later. After all, you know how good we are, "his arrogant voice makes him nervous.
Vandit was very pleased with his quick wit.
"Wait ... Where are you going?" he said in a hurry because Mriga did not respond and moved to pass him.
He answered,
"I don't have time to enjoy a dream day with you."
Vandit frowning,
"Cruel and ungrateful. People burn midnight oil for you and see your behavior. I came here to tell you to go to the Admin building. It's time for another test."
Mriga looked at him in wonder. Chiranjeev did not mention anything about doing simulation exercises today. They had discussed it and decided that they would wait for the outcome of the first round. Meanwhile, he continued to prepare it himself.
"Wait for what else? Do you want me to personally escort you there?" Vandit asked as he bowed mockingly.
Mriga banged his fists against his stooped back, caught him off guard and made him fall to the ground. He gave her a sharp look but he gestured for her to look back calmly.
Seeing the shocked expression on Ishani's face, Vandit fell back to the ground and started moaning. Mriga hid her smile and left before Ishani could question her.
He thought he heard Vandit muttering
"Thank you."
In fact, she had thought that since she was upset in the past two days, Ishani would definitely be affected and vent it on the one person she could. This is the way to help lovebirds.
Upon reaching the Admin building, Mriga opened the door and stopped right at the entrance. Even though it was morning, there were some lights still on. The room smelled damp, as if it had not been opened lately.
Piles of papers and books were scattered in one corner near the wall and in the middle of all this, a man lay flat on his back, with long limbs positioned in an awkward position, and in the middle of all this, a man was lying on his back, it was as if he was asleep in the middle of something. The theory proved to be true when Mriga approached him and saw large stains of ink on his fingers, chin, and forehead.
His heart softened as he saw the signs of exhaustion around his eyes and mouth.
Did he not sleep all day and night before?
"Abhirath.." he leaned over and shook her gently.
He muttered something and then slipped back into the coma pose he was in.
"Stupid," he murmured softly before pulling out some paper clasped tightly in his hand.
But the sheet that caused her to become emotional was the last one where she wrote down some untidy lines –
How do I show my sincerity to him?
Fast Action -
1) Help him prepare his goals
2) Stop total interaction with all women, regardless of it
3) Control emotions, be gentle (very tough!)
Long term plan –
1) Become a member of the high-performance Suraksha Chakra
2) Meet his parents and try to impress them for some time (you can do it!!!)
3) DO NOT let other men approach her at all times
Mriga laughed and cried at the end of this messy sheet of writing.
Sniffing softly, he placed the sheets next to her and stepped out of the room quietly. By the time he reached the dining room, his heart had forgotten the grievances he had fought the night before.
Subconsciously, he had already started to receive his affection for her since some time. Although she had not said anything romantic since her confession to him, her actions were that of her boyfriend and her heart, consciously or unconsciously, did not reject him.
After half an hour, he returned to the Admin building but this time, he deliberately banged on the door, making enough noise to even raise the dead.
"Oh! You're here?" he pretended to be surprised and stopped a bit away from her.
Abhirath woke up groggy and then panicked to see Mriga standing in front of him. He hurriedly collected the fallen sheets.
"You seem to be working hard. A new assignment from Guruji or maybe helping someone special," he said with a grin.
In a state of sleep deprivation, Abhirath's mental abilities have not fully functioned.
He froze hearing her words and then immediately began to explain,
"No, no. This is a note I made JUST for you. There's absolutely no one else I'm going to do for this."
Did he misunderstand again? His expression was truly grim as he struggled to find the right word, lest he aggravate it.
With a slight red hue on his face, Mriga replied,
"Umm... In that case, doesn't that mean I'm special?"
Abhirath began to deny those words even before he fully registered them but then he froze. What'd he say?
Looking at her blank face, Mriga felt even more embarrassed and cleared her throat,
"I brought breakfast to myself because I planned to sit here and study. As always, I have more than I can finish. Will you share?"
Abhirath. Mriga's face, expression, and tone, everything seemed normal at this moment. But he dared to swear that he saw her looking at him differently a few seconds ago.
Is that a trick of his mind?
Is his brain trying to project the image he so desperately wants to see?

Admin Building, Gurukul
"Argh ... I went crazy," Abhirath's internal monologue continued while Mriga waited for his answer.
Mriga, meanwhile, bit the inside of her cheek to prevent her from laughing.
How did he not realize until now that the man was adorable?
Her hair was scattered in all directions and her cotton clothes looked like they had been beaten to a pulp.
"Should I put down breakfast while you're away and, erhm, refresh myself?" Mriga pushed him again because he still looked dazed.
As if someone had thrown cold water onto his face, he jerked backwards and then his face flushed red. He nodded his head before getting up and passing through it, only to rush back. He looked for something before picking up a sheet and pocketing it.
"I'll meet you here in a few minutes," she almost sounds like her normal self now.
"Daradly! I was enjoying his chaotic state" he told himself.

East Zila
Ramanujam began to resemble a trash can in the truest sense, now. Not only did he look messy but he also smelled.
It smelled so bad that it seemed like someone had died here. He was worried that the hiding place would be found if someone had a good nose but he was unable to hold it. There was no way he would come out to fill the water here and as a result, he did not dare to take a bath or even take a bath.
He had a drinking supply to last a day and nothing more. Ramanujam knew that once he got out of this place, he had to return to the capital. The chances of him being caught again are high and then the whole exercise will be counterproductive.
"Damn it... I just need something to take back. How do I leave the mission empty-handed?" He grumbled silently.
He had heard Vaidya come and go, but there was nothing in his conversation that he could gain much from. It seemed that the appearance of the snake made them even more vigilant. But Ramanujam needed something to shake the boat, otherwise how could he see the ripples in the water.
It was already afternoon when he heard some murmurs reaching his ears from the pipe connected to Amrapali's office. Pumping his hands into the air, he was finally happy for an action. But the next moment, he quietly pressed his ear against the pipe and grabbed the quill pen and paper stored next to it.
“... Because of this, we have no choice but to delay that plan for a few days. Since the snake bit the back of the neck, Vaidya paid little attention to the swelling but the effect of the poison reaching the head. In that case, the boy will not.” the man stopped talking.
Ramanujam notes all this with his unique abbreviation. He didn't want to miss a word. There will be enough time to read and understand the implications later.
"Make sure tomorrow this letter gets to the capital first. Should be sent to the QIT selection committee," Sharada began to speak.
"Regarding the situation here, it seems that procrastination is inevitable. Go and tell everyone that we will move two days from now. In the meantime, they should hide. I shouldn't be able to hear a squeaking sound even if one of them. With Prithvi's surveillance all around, we can't make a mess. Although now that he had managed to take his person, he should not try anything anytime soon, Sharada's "saddened words surprised Ramanujam.
"Guruji sent people to save me? After not finding me there, are they still looking for me? Now, I have to find a way to send my message to him as soon as possible" he thought to himself.
Antek Sharada spoke up, returning Ramanujam's focus to the conversation,
"If you knew that he was part of the Suraksha Cakra core team, why didn't you just kill him right away? Isn't it dangerous now that he has escaped?"
Sharada's dry laughter filtered through the pipe, making Ramanujam grit his teeth in anger. He was really upset at himself for being caught.
"I wish I could catch a big fish with this bait. Unfortunately, the fish did not bite and the bait escaped on its own. But it doesn't matter. He's useless anyway. Vaidya had conducted a hypnotic test on him. The first night of the torture and thought that the man knew nothing. Life or death makes no difference to us. And without proof, whatever little information he had, it was all useless. You concentrate on the task at hand. Don't worry about this pretty head of yours, " Sharada said and then the next moment, ambiguous voices began to filter through the pipes, making Ramanujam retreat with a hint of disgust.
Suddenly, it was clear to him what he needed to do.
First, he had to tell Prithvi that he was alive and secondly, he needed to know Sharada's plan.
Considering that the second task might endanger his life, he decided to postpone the first and concentrate on the latter. After all, if he were still alive after this mission, Guruji would know about it.

Gouruk
All ten contestants had done whatever they could to hope for their selection in the next round. But everything is in the hands of the zilla head now.
Mriga had spent most of the previous day with Abhirath and later with the team, including Ganga and Yash. Since he was busy, nervousness did not hit him too much but stood outside the dean's office, he could not help but clench and release his fingers continuously.
Since there were only ten of them at this moment, he could see some familiar faces in that small group.
