71. Distrusting

Evening has arrived. Lidya sat pensively by the window of her room.

His mind drifted with the events of today that made him hate Rico. Even repeated calls and messages from her, only Lidya was left alone.

"Assalamu'alaikum" said Lidya while knocking on Rosa's door.

"Wa'alaikumussalam." not long after, after the sound of a greeting reply, the door opened.

The sudden arrival of Lidya, made Rosa startled. The two hugged each other tightly.

"You're getting pretty Ros." said Lidya after the two broke each other's arms. He watched Rosa from head to toe.

"Ah, you could have been Lid. Isn't all this also thanks to you. Each of your slippery remarks made me rise to change Lid. Did you forget?" rosa replied with a chuckle, which made Lidya even more aware of all her mistakes.

"Let's go in." bargain Rosa while embracing Lidya's shoulder.

After preparing drinks and snacks at the table, Rosa invited Lidya to taste them.

"Well, I feel that in the Arab country I am Ros, the snacks are dates and chickpeas too." said Lidya while plucking a date, then put it in her mouth.

"Alhamdulillah, I am relieved to hear Lid." said Rosa as she breathed a sigh of relief.

"What was Lid called?" reiterate Rosa, afraid of hearing wrong.

"Rico." repeated Lidya once more.

"Rico Relando you mean? Who attended Binus High School?" rosa made it clear.

Lidya turned her head towards Rosa while nodding confidently.

"You, why do you know him, too, Ros? Are you also near?" ask Lidya curiously.

The two were silent for a long time. I didn't know if that could happen.
