17. Alleged Lidya's parents

"Occupy.... Oweck."

Lidya sharpened her hearing and looked at her father.

"Did you hear that?" ask Lidya to make sure that her hearing is not wrong. Mr. Citro nodded while smiling.

"What's baby Rosa's voice?" ask again while wiping his tears.

"Maybe." replied Mr. Citro as is.

Lidya slightly smiled. He walked and paced in front of the operating room door. I can't wait for that door to open perfectly. Meanwhile, Mr. Citro walked to the cafeteria to buy Lidya warm tea, so he could calm down.

Arghh....

Lidya groaned in pain, as her slender body hit a doctor who had just walked out of the operating room.

He almost fell down, and the doctor swiftly restrained Lidya's body until finally he was in the young doctor's arms. The two of their neutrals momentarily clashed against each other. Lidya immediately regained her senses and tried to let go of the handsome young doctor's embrace.

"Ma_forgive me doctor" said Lidya while holding both hands together in front of her chest, while her head lowered face down. He was really afraid to be upset by the doctor because it had disrupted his working hours.

Seeing Lidya's behavior like that even made the young doctor smile.

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize" he said softly. Upon hearing that, Lidya raised her head and looked at the doctor again.

"How's Rosa doc? Is he still alive? Then I was like hearing the voice of Owek Owek, is that the voice of his son Rosa? Can I see him now?" Lidya approached the doctor with questions. Again, this made the doctor smile again.

"Have you finished asking?"

Instead of answering Lidya's question, the doctor throws a question at Lidya, which makes Lidya frown.

"Alhamdulillah, all his critical moments have passed. He is still alive and safe despite a lot of bleeding. The baby is healthy too. Soon we'll move her to the inpatient room. So, calm down little girl."

Lidya frowned hearing the doctor's last words calling her a little girl. But he remained grateful and much calmer after hearing his explanation.

Shortly after, both of his parents arrived.

"Mother's father, thank God Rosa and the baby are still alive" exclaimed Lidya cheerfully and then poured into the arms of his parents.

"Alhamdulillah." replied his parents. A feeling of relief came upon the three who were hugging each other.

Of course, the doctor was still standing there and looking at Lidya's cute child-like behavior.

"Sorry, where's Miss Rosa's husband?" ask the doctor to break the life of the Lidya family.

"What's wrong, Doc?" Lidya dared to ask.

"His baby has not been adopted, please can be adzani first before moving space."

The doctor's words made the three of them look at each other. And it's impossible to tell the truth.

"Father, you're the one who tried his son Rosa. He was like my own nephew." said Lidya.

Mr. Citro frowned, then looked at his wife as if asking for approval. And luckily Ms. Cici nodded with a smile which meant allowing.

After everything was cleared, Rosa was moved to the inpatient room. While the baby is placed in a special room for babies. Lidya was always beside him waiting for him until he came to his senses.

Shortly after, after getting a call from Cici's mother, Rosa also immediately came to bring a change of clothes for Rosa.

"Rose."

Suddenly Susi's mom was already at the entrance of Rosa's room. Lidya and her family turned to look at Susi standing up. For the first time they met. Because all this time they only knew each other through the narrative of Rosa.

Ms. Cici got up from her seat and approached Susi's mother. He hugged Susi like his own brother while stroking his back to give support.

"Patience to mom. Thank God Rosa has made it through her critical period and just waited for her to wake up" Cici said to Susi.

"Thank you ma'am for all the kindness and help that you've been doing for Rosa" said Susi with a trembling voice holding back tears, looking at Rosa's pale face. He stroked the child's face with tenderness.

They talked to each other about Rosa. Although Susi mom has explained the incident and not a bit to blame the Cici mom family, it still makes Cici mom feel bad.

The day had gone up the night, Mr. Citro invited him home because after work he immediately took care of Rosa and finally tired. Lidya with a heavy heart had to leave Rosa. He remembered the words of Rosa to make both his parents happy.

"Tante, I'm saying yes. Tomorrow I will definitely come back here again." said Lidya while kissing the back of her mother Rosa's hand.

"Yes son, thank you for being such a good friend to Rosa. She always told me about you at home." said Rosa's mother who made Lidya a little smile.

He thinks it's too much, because Lidya doesn't feel like doing much for Rosa.

After saying goodbye, the Lidya family finally came out of Rosa's room.

"Lidya, can you tell me father, why did Rosa slip?" knock dad.

Lidya looked at her father and thought for a moment.

"Lidya doesn't know for sure. Because when Lidya went to the employee bathroom, I found Rosa lying in a pool of blood."

"Well, that's when I wanted to help Rosa too almost slipped. It looks like mom saw a puddle there." added Ms. Cici. His forehead was also shriveled as if he was thinking.
