A week later, inspector Teo's disciplinary hearing was held. All the witnesses were present, and the superiors as well as some police officers were already in the room. Embarrassed, Teo entered the room. With dozens of questions from superiors already answered by Teo.

The last witness was of course Dr. Brian, the man made a statement that greatly shocked Zean.

"I don't know brother Teo." Brian said when he first opened his voice.

Teo nodded his head. "You go home, there are some things I need to finish."

Both his parents nodded, Teo drove them out of Polda and ordered a taxi. After his parents left Polda, he immediately headed for Zean's room.

Zean was talking to Brian in his room, he kept asking for his lover's explanation for covering up all Teo's deeds.

"Say Bri, why did you change your mind?" ask Zean.

"Nothing matters, baby, you have to work. I don't want to bother you. I also have to go back to the hospital." replied Brian.

"I won't let you get out of here before you tell me the truth" Zean said.

"I'll tell you everything when I get home, our conversation will be long Zee. And I have to be with Aralyne back to the hospital, she came here with me. You're not angry, are you?"

"I'm not mad about that, but I'm really curious about Bri."

"I promise I'll tell you everything baby, I think Dr. Aralyne is waiting in the parking lot right now" Brian said.

Zean sighed, he had to wait for the right time to listen to his lover's explanation.

"I don't care, but hearing that Inspector Teo wasn't dismissed, I was very relieved. I don't want to make it any worse." replied Zean.

"I'm happy to make your worries disappear, well, ma'am pol, it's not good that I continue to be in your room. Tonight I'll pick you up, don't eat dinner early because I want to take you somewhere."

Zean frowned. "Where are you going?"

As Brian wanted to step outside, Teo entered without knocking. "Can we talk for a second?"

Brian knitted his eyebrows together, the man wanted to talk to him but he didn't want to see his face at all. Brian looked at Zean, his lover was also confused but nodded his head. They ended up sitting together on the sofa of Zean's room.

"Thank you." said Teo. "I'm sorry I've been judging you wrongly" he continued.

"If I have to go back to the hospital" replied Brian coldly.

"I know you hate me so much, you should have told me the truth to incriminate my punishment. Why do you pretend you don't know me, and I hit you?" ask Teo.

"There's nothing to explain, I really want to pretend I don't know you. So don't ever show up in front of me again, don't bother my girlfriend except about work. Appreciate the woman you like, the more sincere you are with her, the easier it will be to get her. Be a cop who can be a role model for his people, stop drinking to keep you sane." Brian sneered as he left the room.

Teo still gaped at Brian's words. The man who was supposed to be able to take him down turned out to be helping him even though he knew Brian hated him so much.

"If there's nothing else you want to talk about, you better get out Mr. Teo. I'm sorry I didn't mean to kick you out, but I have a lot of work to do." Zean said.

"Do you want to forgive what I've been doing all this time?" ask Teo.

"Of course, we're a job anyway. And you are my boss, we better forget about personal matters." replied Zean.

Teo stood up, he extended his hand. "Bu Zean, I'm inspector Teo. It's nice to work with you." he said.

Zean smiled and welcomed his hand. "It's nice to work with you, inspector."

"Thank you." Teo said, saying goodbye.

On the other hand, Aralyne is still waiting for Brian in the parking lot. The woman looked relieved but also felt guilty.

Brian approaches. "We'd better get back to the hospital."

"Thank you for helping me Brian, I think it's impossible because Teo hurt you too much" Aralyne replied.

"I shouldn't have helped you, but I don't want to forget our friendship back in England. We can start all over again to fix everything." Brian said.

Aralyne shakes. "I'm ashamed to start over, at least you helped me one last time. Thank you so much Brian, I hope you can be more successful in the future."

"What do you mean Aralyne, forget it all. I hope you and Teo can start from the beginning of your relationship, if you can like it then do it. Teo has a good job, he can definitely change with you."

"I don't need to go back to Pertamina hospital because I've resigned. I'm moving to a hospital in Bekasi. If we were to be friends, we would meet again" Aralyne said.

Brian was surprised to hear that. "Why did you resign from Aralyne's best hospital, was it because of this problem?"

Aralyne shakes. "From the beginning I worked there, I was just obsessed with you. Actually I found out where you worked, I tried to get into Pertamina hospital because I knew you'd be working there. From the beginning I was wrong, so I will start right again in Bekasi. Hope your relationship with Zean goes well, I hope you invite me to come to your wedding."

Brian breathed. "Have you told Teo about any of this?"

"Our relationship is over, I don't want to look back." replied Aralyne.

"But it seems like the guy really likes you, although this seems faster but I can see from his jealous gaze now" said Brian.

Aralyne followed Brian's gaze behind her, she was shocked as Teo gradually approached her.

"Well doctor Aralyne, I'm going back to the hospital now. Solve your problems with a cool head." said Brian again as he got into his car.

Brian left Aralyne with Teo there, relieved to make things work without any new animosity. He also hopes that Zean can accept his proposal tonight.
