Brian's First Operation

After they separated at their respective residences, Zean and Brian took a break. Both will be doing their work tomorrow. Especially Brian who will do his first operation.

The next day, before Brian left for work, he contacted his father.

"For me, Tora and Aunt Sherly are still home?" ask Brian.

"For my son, too, yes they are still here preparing to go home. How are you preparing today?" ask doctor Jack.

"That's why I called papa, I want to ask you for a prayer so that I can successfully perform this first operation" Brian replied.

"Sure Brian, papa always prays every day for you. One papa message, whatever happens during the operation stay calm and sure of yourself. Have you had breakfast?" doctor Jack said.

"I will always remember papa's message. Papa always take care of my health, I have breakfast, now there is Juma ma'am who takes care of me. I'm leaving now, pa. Greetings to om and aunt Sin."

"Well Brian, you're careful. Dah.." said Jack's doctor, closing his phone.

Brian was ready to leave, when he left the house, he was very surprised to see his lover standing in front of the gate while sharing his beautiful smile. Brian immediately opened the gate.

"What are you doing this morning here, and how long have you been standing, baby?" ask Brian.

Zean hugged him. "I just got to 5 minutes ago, I'm worried about you Bri."

Brian returned his lover's embrace. "What are you worried about beautiful? I'm fine."

"You're going to do your first operation, and I want to encourage you directly. I took the time to come here before I went to Polda." said Zean.

Brian brought Zean inside, without waiting for long he immediately pulled his girlfriend's face and kissed her completely. Zean is almost out of breath because Brian won't stop.

"Bri.." she said between the kisses.

Brian let go of Zean and smiled. "You drive me crazy this morning like this Zee, if you do this continuously, I'll pull you into my room." she whispered.

Zean chuckles. "I'll do it if you're going to do the surgery, I'll give you a boost every morning baby."

Brian hugged her back. "Don't do it baby, the distance from the apartment here is very far."

"I left very early, not too jammed" replied Zean.

"Then how about now, you'll be late to the police" Brian said.

"Take me off now Bri, I'll leave before it's too late. I'll let you know again when I get to Polda."

Reluctantly Brian let go of his embrace. "I'd love to drive you."

Zean shook his head. "I can be alone, baby be careful during the operation, good luck in your first operation. Let me know when you're done with it." she said, peeping at Brian's cheek.

Zean steps up to get out of the house but is pulled back by Brian into his arms.

"2 minutes." said Brian.

Zean returned the embrace tightly. Reluctantly the two let go of their embrace. Brian kissed Zean's forehead gently.

"Observe heart...Dah.." Brian said as he drove Zean out of the house and into his car.

Zean nodded as he got into his car, waved his hand and left Brian for Polda.

Brian sighed, he was so happy this morning to be encouraged by the two people he loved so much. He was getting excited to do his first operation. He immediately got into his car and headed to Pertamina hospital.

"Sir doctor, the meeting preparation is over. Everything is waiting in the room." said Doctor Mei.

"I'll be there soon." replied Brian.

Doctor Mei nodded and left Brian, the man prepared himself then headed for the meeting room.

Inside the room were already several surgeons and professors who would help and supervise him in performing his first surgery. They also started the meeting.

"You're healthy doc?" ask professor.

"It's very healthy" Brian replied.

"I believe you can do it, because his family wants to bring out the patient immediately, then we will do a different procedure with more expensive drugs. The family agreed to make twice the actual payment" the professor said.

"This is not a matter of prof pay, I always prioritize patient safety and also his recovery. Precisely from the beginning I was very depressed by the request of the patient's family" said Brian.

"You're right doc, the patient's family is more chatty, I'm almost dizzy hearing their requests every day" Ricky said.

"Changing the schedule of surgery alone has overwhelmed us." said the doctor May.

"I'll do my best prof, I won't let the surgeon down here" Brian replied.

"That's why I like you so much Doctor Brian, we'll know after seeing the results. Stay calm in a critical state, that calmness will pay off in performing the operation. We've just had a meeting today, prepare yourself to help Dr. Brian." the professor asked.

"Thank you prof." answered everything.

After the meeting was over, they all returned to their respective rooms to prepare themselves for the operation. Brian felt increasingly tense, heavy burden not only because of the patient but also he was responsible on behalf of the surgeon at Pertamina hospital.

Brian held his phone and tapped his finger on the table. He was eager to talk to Zean before entering the operating room. But at this time his lover must be busy, he can not bother him.

Brian reassured himself, he opened his cell phone gallery and stared at the laughing photo of Zean. That's all he can do now. Doctor Mei knocked on the door and entered.

"Dok, it's time. The patient is already in the operating room." he said.

Brian took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Give me another 5 minutes" he asked.

"Okay doc." replied the doctor May and left the room.

Brian leaned back on the chair and closed his eyes for a moment. He reassured himself, after 5 minutes he finally stood up and headed for the operating room.

There's doctor Ricky, doctor May, and 3 assistants. While prosefor and Dirut already above the place to supervise the operation. With the operating uniform he was wearing, he was confident he could do it.

"The patient had been given anesthesia 5 minutes ago doc." said May's doctor.

Likewise with others, they have read the results of examinations such as blood pressure, oxygen and others to Brian. After feeling everything was in good and normal, Brian finally held his scalpel and started the operation.
