Brian sighed, whereas Zean only chuckled amusedly. Zean knew his parents could not be persuaded anymore.

"I'll take you to Zean's apartment" Brian said.

"No need for Bri, you must be a lot of work. I'm the one who picked them up." said Zean.

"Okay, maybe I'll be home late. But I'll go straight to your apartment. I don't want to miss the one night you have left with you" Brian replied.

"You're a good boy, we'll be waiting at Zean's apartment" Sherly said.

"Did you find anything on your doorstep?" ask Teo.

Zean thought for a moment, he remembered the fruit basket on the doorstep of his apartment last night but he ignored it because he thought it wasn't his. Zean shook his head, he pretended not to see anything.

"Really, is your apartment less secure? I visited you yesterday, but it looks like you and your parents didn't exist. So I left the fruit basket on your doorstep." Teo said.

"I'm sorry Mr. Teo, my parents happened to be staying at an acquaintance's place so we didn't go back to the apartment. About the fruit basket, I saw it when I took my uniform last night but because I didn't know who it was, so I just let it go." Zean replied.

Teo laughing. "You don't seem to be receiving anything at all, I should have called you first. All right, forget it, then how are your parents?"

"Sorry sir, it doesn't seem like we're too close until you have to ask my parents for news" Zean replied flatly.

"You forgot, if Mr. Tora is someone I admire. Who doesn't know your father Zean, is it that hard for you to answer my question?"

"I'm sorry if I'm being disrespectful, Mr. Teo, and praise God they're very healthy. If nothing is so important, can I go back to my room" Zean said.

"They're very important to me, Zean, because they're your parents. But okay, looks like you don't want to say anything about your family. Please continue your work." Teo ordered.

"Ready sir." replied Zean as he walked out of Teo's room.

Teo slammed into his body after Zean disappeared from his room. He was very upset because the woman was very difficult for him to approach.

And I'm gonna get your girlfriend to marry another woman. Look at it later, my plan with Dr. Aralyne has to work." Teo murmured.

He resumed his work after calming down his resentful heart at Zean's indifferent attitude towards him.
