When Brian arrived at his home, he kept calling Zean but the woman did not pick up her phone. Brian was not calm, he could not go to Zean's apartment this late.
"Have you slept Zee, it's only 10 p.m. Are you mad at me?" murmured Brian.
He kept trying to contact Zean, and finally a lazy voice sounded from behind the phone.
"Who?" ask Zean lazily.
Brian was surprised by his girlfriend's question. "Is my phone number you're deleting?"
"Oh, sorry Bri. I didn't see the phone screen. I overslept." replied Zean.
"Sorry I'm interrupting, I think you're still awake."
"You're home yet?" ask Zean.
"I just arrived, I've been calling you since. Can I go to your apartment now?" ask Brian.
"For what? It's so late Bri, you rest." replied Zean.
"I want to see your parents" Brian said.
"They're sleeping Bri, tomorrow's flight at 1pm. You can take them on break."
"Really, did they say something because I didn't come tonight?" ask Brian.
"My parents weren't a bigoted person who didn't understand your work, Bri, they understood you so much. You take it easy, they're fine."
"Then what about you? You still sound pissed."
Zean chuckles. "I'm fine, baby, your worries are excessive. I really just woke up, so my voice was still lazy. You take a break, we meet tomorrow afternoon." replied Zean.
"Zee, I miss you." Brian said.
"Me too, don't have a mind like Bri. I will try to understand your work." Zean said.
"All right, tomorrow I'm going to your apartment. We can go to the airport together."
"Okay, good night" Zean said as he hung up his phone.
Brian was able to breathe a sigh of relief, it turned out that Zean and his parents did not feel as disappointed as Brian had thought since dinner with the surgeons. He immediately went into his bathroom, he could not sleep if he had not taken a bath.

The next day, as they usually do. This time Brian could not renege on his promise again, he had to deliver his future father-in-law to return to Lampung.
The sound of knocking on the door blew his daydream.
"Doctor Brian, there's a VVIP patient who wants to consult." said May.
"I don't have an appointment" replied Brian.
"It's empty, but the patient wants to see you without making an appointment. Are you ready?" ask doctor Mei.
"Next time no, but today I accept because there is no work. 5 minutes to get the patient in. But remember Doctor Mei, no patient can see me without an appointment." Brian said.
"Sorry doc, I've said it but this woman is pushy" said doctor Mei regretting.
"This time is okay." replied Brian flatly.
Doctor Mei comes out and calls the patient who wants to see Brian's doctor. Five minutes later, a woman came into Brian's room. A beautiful and young woman. She is the daughter of a kidney patient who will have Brian operated on in 2 days.
"Please sit down, miss." said Brian.
"I'm Mariet the daughter of Mr. Hasdo. Sorry for meeting you without making an appointment. But I want to ask you something." answered Mariet.
"Say, you can ask me anything" Brian said.
"Whether my father can recover soon after surgery, I'll take him to France because I'm getting married there."
"Is your marriage more important than your father's health. Look, miss, you've changed your operating schedule and actually violated the rules here. But since your family is close to the hospital director, we can take it. But for your question, I can't answer for sure because I'm not God. I will try my best to perform the operation and try to save him. But fate is only in the hands of the Lord, miss, we can only try and pray." replied Brian a little upset.
"The answer remains the same miss, we will try our best" Brian replied.
"If my father can't make a full recovery, can I still take him abroad?" ask Mariet again.
Brian looked at the woman's face, there seemed to be other problems besides marriage problems. "Can't you get married without your father?" ask Brian.
Mariet. "Can't, she must be present at my wedding."
"Put down your marriage as much as possible until your father really recovers missus. Your father's health is more important than anything." Brian ordered.
The woman was sad. "Thank you for your advice, doc, but I hope you give your best so we can leave next week" he said, leaving Brian's room.
Brian cursed, he was very upset to face the family of patients who justify all means with money.
"A strange family." murmured Brian.
Brian looked at his watch, already at 11 p.m., he would break early to meet Zean and his parents, Brian tidied up his desk and prepared to be ready to go out. He told the doctor in May, and as he headed for the elevator door, he met with Aralyne's doctor. The woman smiled at him.
"Are you going out?" ask Aralyne.
Brian nodded. "Where are you going?"
"I was gonna ask you about dinner with you. Since that day, you haven't given me an answer" Aralyne said.
"I'm sorry, Aralyne, I'm in a hurry. I've got a lot of work, my operating schedule is all up. I'll let you know soon if there's time." replied Brian.
Before Aralyne spoke further, the elevator doors opened.
"I'll call you again." Brian said as he left the woman.
Aralyne is a little annoyed as he is left out, he continues to be urged by Teo to carry out their plans, but Brian is very difficult to find. He cursed unknowingly there were several doctors who were staring at him there. The look he thought was mocking.
While Brian did not want to be late, he immediately drove his vehicle to Zean's apartment. It was an hour's drive, and he finally arrived. Brian immediately went to the elevator door, the elevator door opened and there the three were in the elevator to get out.
"You really came Bri." said Zean.
"Of course, you want to leave me?" ask Brian.
"Of course not, son, we intend to wait for you in the parking lot" replied Tora.
"Sorry om, aunt... Last night I really had a job." Brian said.
"We understand son, we're leaving now." Sherly asked.
"Zee, my car's better." Brian asked.
Zean looked at his parents, they all agreed. "Alright, we haven't had lunch Bri. We can go to the restaurant before the airport."
"Of course with pleasure" replied Brian.
Brian took their suitcases into the trunk of the car. Then slowly, he drove his car to a nearby restaurant. But Brian recalled their first date spot near the airport.
"Wouldn't we eat at a restaurant near the airport?" ask Brian.
"We'll just come along" replied Tora.
"Too far, aren't you hungry" Zean said.
"We can hold him dear, it's better near the airport." Sherly said.
Brian looked at Zean, the woman was not as friendly as usual. "We ate where we first ate Zee, you remember."
"All right, it's up to you" replied Zean.
Brian didn't ask further because there were still Zean's parents. He focused only on the busy streets leading to restaurants near the airport.
