Hours of work are over, no word yet from his men. Zean can't go home without news, he can't contact Ega or the others because they might be facing a criminal right now. Zean keeps waiting until he misses his dinner, and Brian hasn't called him yet.

"What should I do now, I can't eat if I haven't got good news from my men" Zean muttered.

Zean remembered his parents, he had not even contacted them or vice versa. "Oh my God, I forgot them." he said, taking his phone.

"Good night dear." said Tora after picking up the phone from Zean.

"Good night pi, sorry I just called you guys. How's travel?" ask Zean.

"We know you're busy, so we didn't call you either. Our trip was very smooth, we were still in Bandar Jaya where Dr Jack was. Your future father-in-law, forbid us to go straight to the onion bone." replied Tora.

"Thank God, you rest first. Don't call Jack my future father-in-law, I'm ashamed pi. Continue your journey tomorrow morning. Nurses and waiters are home right now, so you don't have to worry."

"Didn't Doctor Jack be your future father-in-law, baby, you didn't play with Brian. And we're fine, baby, we can still take care of ourselves" Sherly said.

"I'm serious about Brian, but I'm still thinking about my family. And there's no good word mi, you have to accept the nurse and the waiter. Otherwise, JiJo's brother might have invited you to stay in America." Zean threatened.

"What's the next order from Mr. Teo?" ask Zean.

"We backed off and looked for further information. We've heard the confessions of several witnesses, there's a place we have to explore next. If there's none, then the suspect ran to another area."

"I should be with you."

"No need ma'am, Mr. Teo is very good at leading the team. Ms. Zean better go back to the house now, is not Polda no one but the one who is on duty at night." said Ega.

"Pak Teo has always been a professional in the team, no doubt about that. I just want to hear from you guys before I get home. All right, you guys be careful when you get back, I'm waiting for the next news."

"Good ma'am, ready to do it." replied Ega.

Zean hung up his phone and immediately called his girlfriend.

"Where are you, baby?" ask Zean.

"I'm home, baby, are you done?" ask Brian.

"Yes, I want to go home now. Bri, I'd better take a cab."

"Why? Are you tired of meeting me?"

"Don't think like that, I just don't want to bother you." replied Zean.

"That's what you said, I'm your girlfriend Zee and I've been looking after you since I was a kid. I'm leaving now, you wait there. I'm sure you haven't had dinner, we'll eat before we go home" Brian said.

"You always know me, so be careful on the street" Zean said, closing his phone.

Zean this time changed his uniform with ordinary clothes that he kept in his office, he did not want a date with Brian wearing his uniform.

An hour later, Brian finally arrived at Polda. Zean was waiting for him at the security post. The woman looked very tired, she also looked very upset but the woman was very beautiful with the clothes she was wearing. Brian got out of his car and approached his girlfriend.

"What are you thinking?" brian asked Zean to be surprised by his daydream.

"When did you arrive? Sorry I didn't see you coming." replied Zean.

"You must be very tired, I'll take you to a restaurant with a beautiful view here like your pretty face Zee" Brian said.

"I'm not tired, I'm just hungry and a little upset about work. And stop teasing me, doctor."

Brian pulled his hand and gently grasped it, he led Zean towards the parking lot.

"Tell me your job if you don't mind" Brian said, opening his car door for Zean.

"Where are we going to eat?" ask Zean.

"Secret, you'll love it." replied Brian.

"Oh so you start to have secrets, doctor." sneered Zean.

"It's not like that, but it's not exciting if you know first, it's a surprise for you" Brian said as he turned on his car and took Zean out of the police environment.

The two eventually stopped at a fancy restaurant that prepared a Korean food menu. The view is beautiful, and also very crowded.

"You sure you're gonna get a table?" ask Zean.

"Sure, I ordered first. And our table is right on the balcony above. We can try Korean food while looking at the view of the Jakarta city building." replied Brian.

The two got out of the car and into the restaurant, a waiter drove them to an upstairs table. Sure enough, the place is beautiful. Zean's mood instantly changed upon seeing the sight.

"Oh my God, I don't know if Jakarta will be this beautiful when it's night." Zean said.

"You like it?" ask Brian.

"Of course, thank you Bri."

"Have you ever tried Korean food?"

Zean shook his head. "It's my first time, I'm really grateful that you're thinking of a place like this."

"I'll do anything to make you happy Zee, stop admiring the view. You choose the food menu first."

"I'm coming, I've never tried anything."

"Alright" said Brian, ordering food to the waiter.

Brian also ordered a gogigui, he grilled the meat in front of Zean. Zean kept looking at him while doing that.

"Do I look like a Korean oppa oppa now?" ask Brian.

Zean chuckles. "You look more like an Indonesian opa(grandfather)." he sneered.

"Just son, I'm still young" Brian replied, laughing.

Zean held back his laughter, he kept watching Brian do that.

"I'm glad your face changed unlike it was in Polda. If your job feels hard, you tell me, baby. I'll listen to your grievances."

"It's okay, it's just that my team failed to catch the drug dealer because the information was leaked. And even more upsetting, I can't go down to the field." replied Zean.

"Good." said Brian.

"What a good thing, you're mocking me."

"It's not because of your team's failure but because you didn't take to the field. If you do that, I'll go crazy for worry and your parents will tell you to stop" Brian said.

"That's what pisses me off, I can only take to the field when there are protesters or prestigious matches. Though I also want to feel the tension in catching..."

"NO... I don't like it." Brian cut it.

"Forget it, I'm not allowed by my boss."

"Eat, try the meat" Brian said, giving the thin piece of meat to Zean's bowl.

Zean tried it and nodded his head. "Lumayan, surely I'll get fat from eating fatty foods at curfews like this."

"No, your body doesn't get fat when you eat a sack of rice" Brian said.

Zean laughs. "You know better I'm Bri."

"Stop your laughter, eat it. Keep your stomach full." Brian ordered.

They both enjoyed their late dinner.
