The Happiness of Doctor Jack

Brian and Zean enter the house as the day gets late. Zean goes to Jack's doctor in the kitchen.

"Om, let me." said Zean.

"No need to be beautiful, you sit down. I can handle it." replied Dr. Jack.

"Where might I let Jack do this for me, at least I can help a little" Zean said.

"Can you cook?" ask Brian.

"Don't underestimate me Bri, as long as I'm in the dorm, I learn everything. I'm not a spoiled woman who can't do anything." replied Zean.

Brian and Jack laughed. "We know that" said Dr. Jack.

"Then what about you, doctor? Did you cook while you were in college in England?" ask Zean.

"Heeeem, I prefer restaurant food or fast food. I don't want to destroy the kitchen of my apartment." Brian replied with a laugh.

"Based on a crazy man." sneered Zean. "Help us." he asked.

"Oh no, let Brian out of this kitchen." get Jack's doctor out.

Zean looks at Jack's doctor, while Brian continues to let go of his laughter and leaves the kitchen.

"Don't confuse Zean, om will tell about Brian when he was a child" said Jack's doctor.

The middle-aged man began to tell the incident where Brian destroyed their home kitchen to the point of Brian being unable to distinguish food ingredients such as salt, sugar, flavoring and pepper.

Zean continued to laugh hearing that, behind the perfect man figure, there was a flaw in him.

"Did Brian not distinguish the material?" ask Zean.

Doctor Jack shrugged his shoulders. "Om never let him in the kitchen, so he probably still can't tell the ingredients apart."

Zean laughed again. "Geez, how could it be like that. Stupid surgeon."

"Keep mocking me beautiful lady, I'll make you regret it." Brian said back into the kitchen.

Zean and Doctor Jack laughed.

"Papa opened my ugly secret, I can tell the difference now" Brian said.

"really? Try to come here." challenge Zean.

"I can but I have to taste it, I can't do it just by looking at the material" Brian said.

Doctor Jack's laughter exploded. His son still could not distinguish without tasting the taste.

"All right, you just get out, doctor. I hope you can still distinguish the scalpel in the operating room." Zean kicked it out.

"Hey.that's my forte. I may not be able to tell the difference. I'm not a chef, I just don't understand. Like a chef, I'm sure they don't know about scalpels" Brian replied.

Zean chuckles, pushing Brian's body out of the kitchen. "You're right, doctor, so stay calm in the lounge until we're done."

Brian approached Zean's ear. "I want to kiss you." whispered.

Zean's face blushed, he continued to push Brian back into the kitchen. Brian laughed at the embarrassed face of his girlfriend.

Dinner was ready, they enjoyed dinner without the quiet because again Brian kept making them laugh.

"If papi and mami know I'm eating like this, then they'll hit me." Zean said.

"Luckily, my dad wasn't that cruel." replied Brian.

"Papa would rather we eat like this than the calmness that makes the stomach full quickly even though this is not polite. Papa was hit by Tora because eating can not calm down" said Jack's doctor while laughing considering the incident when he was young.

"Om Jack was right, papi and mami always taught Zean to eat quietly. But it really makes the stomach full quickly. At least I can be like this with you guys" Zean said.

"Have you contacted them?" ask Brian.

Zean shook his head. "I'll call them when this dinner is over. I hope papi and mom change their minds and consider staying with JiJo in America."

"Do we want a bet?" ask doctor Jack. "Om sure your parents are not people who easily forget their memories. They must have gone back to Lampung." he continued.

"Om right, even I want to take them to the city just don't want to." said Zean.

Zean nodded. "I met them when I was a kid, but I can't remember their faces if I don't see the pictures."

"And I'm so upset that your father kept you engaged to their son" Brian said.

"Are you jealous, doctor?" ask Zean.

"No, I was just wondering. Times like this still have matchmaking." replied Brian.

"Didn't I match you with Zean, too. Are you guys already together?" ask doctor Jack pura not know.

Zean is surprised by Jack's doctor's question.

"Just calm down, Zean, you're gonna keep your relationship a secret" Dr. Jack said.

"So you already know?" ask Zean.

"I'm sorry Zee, I panicked to find you and I finally told papa." Brian replied.

Zean bending his face scared Brian back. Suddenly the woman laughed.

"I'd tell my family and the world if you were my girlfriend, Bri, but I wouldn't want to rush into marriage. You understand." said Zean.

"Of course." replied Brian happily.

"Om disappointed, om want to immediately fondle grandchildren" said doctor Jack.

"Papa.." said Brian.

Doctor Jack laughed again. "You guys really made me happy today, papa joked Brian. Papa will wait for you to be ready. You don't fear Zean, you're not a shabby old man."

"Thank you" replied Zean.

"And you take it easy, o'll make sure Brian's not like that. You can shoot him in the head if he cheats on you." doctor Jack ordered.

"Papa doesn't love me." Brian said.

"If you don't want to be hit by bullets, then don't look like a doctor" Zean threatened.

"Ready bu pol." replied Brian firmly.

They keep laughing together. After they finished their dinner, Zean took a break from them.

"Sleep here Zee." Brian asked.

"True Zean, stay the night. Tomorrow we will return to Lampung. Om wants to see your face tomorrow before you leave" said Dr Jack.

"Why rush? Isn't it still on leave." asked Zean.

"There's no difference between your parents and my dad Zean" Brian said.

Doctor Jack laughed. "The thing is I'm getting tired of being unemployed."

"I'm going to work tomorrow, my uniform's at home" Zean said. "What time is the flight?" ask Zean.

"At 11 noon." replied Brian.

"Look it up, after being absent at the office. I'm gonna get permission to take Jack to the airport."

"All right, but I'll take you." Brian said.

"I brought Bri's car."

"I'm driving."

"Then how did you get back?" ask Zean.

"Taxi's a lot of Zee, well if I'm allowed I'll stay at your apartment." teased Brian.

"No doctor" Zean refused.

Brian laughs, they finally say goodbye to doctor Jack. Brian escorted Zean to his apartment, worried that he would be bullied again.
