Syifa looked at David's pale face. She could not believe that her husband's condition was severe enough.

Especially when she knew that the reason her husband did not want the operation was because he was worried that the operation had failed. So rather than risking something uncertain, he would rather just enjoy his last days.

If Syifa hadn't gone to her husband's office today, she probably wouldn't have known what happened.

The Flashback

" We need to do an operation immediately. This can't be delayed anymore" replied the doctor seriously.

" Yes, I agree, Doc," Syifa said without asking her husband's consent, who would have refused.

" Aye...."

" Please follow the doctor's advice, ma'am." Syifa.

David was silent until they were both there after the departure of doctors and nurses.

" Please don't tell Mama and Papa" David asked after the two were silent

" Sorry. Mama and Papa are already on their way here, Mas,"
