Part 6 - He Exists

From last night Raya really couldn't sleep well. His mind continued to focus on the problems experienced by Daffa. From the stories that Daffa gave so far, he could conclude that his parents had a hard nature in educating, and also had to get what they wanted. And Daffa himself was not able to be what they wanted.

Before she got out of the bed she had slept with Daffa since last night, Raya kissed the forehead of the man who was still sound asleep. After that she immediately grabbed a red cardigan to coat her thin nightgown.

In the bathroom, he observed the bruises on both cheeks from the glass. It was really sad, both eyes blackened and his cheeks were full of bruises. Even he was similar to the victims of KDRT on television.

He only smiled faintly and did not care about his current state.

After finishing the ritual in the bathroom, he immediately headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for his and Daffa.

And it does not take long a simple meat soup is ready to be eaten at the dinner table. Then he immediately woke up Daffa, because he had a morning class today.

Apparently, when he entered the room, Daffa had woken up and sat leaning on the headboard.

"You take a bath there, there will be morning class" he said with a sweet smile that always emanated on his lips.

Instead of obeying his words, Daffa instead approached Raya and hugged her.

"Sorry" he said slowly.

Raya smiles happily, she hopes Daffa will forget all the problems with her parents and will consider it wind then as usual.

But apparently not, after embracing him Daffa immediately moved away leaving him speechless on the spot. No warm smile, not even a warm kiss on the forehead. This morning, Daffa was cold like never before.

Raya tries to understand the state of Daffa and does not disturb him first. After preparing Daffa needs he also accompanied Daffa to breakfast.

While at the dining table the cold atmosphere was still not melting, Daffa ate his favorite soup with a blank look.

"I'm bribing ya?" Tawar Raya who was anxious with the behavior of Daffa who continued to play food.

Daffa regained his senses and immediately shook his head slowly, "no need!"

Nothing you can do now. Seen from her changed nature, Raya suspects her quarrel this time more than usual.

"I'm leaving, you're not going anywhere!" Daffa immediately grabbed the black backpack on the side chair and passed so similarly leaving Raya again without a warm smile.

After the departure of Daffa, suddenly the tears of Raya melted just like that. All this time never once did Daffa silence him even dare to be rude.

Okay, it was her wish but her hope was that Daffa could forget all her problems and come back to the way it was.

He took his cell phone lying on the table, dialed Karin's number and told her that he could not enter today.

He wiped his tears and walked straight to his room.

      "Ray!" Slowly Raya opened her eyes as she felt a pat on her cheek.

"Yet? why here?" Raya immediately sat down while rubbing her face slowly.

"Lo's all right, Ray?" said Karin with a probing look.

Raya tried to give her best smile, and shook her head slowly. "Gue's fine, you yourself why are you here?"

"Told Daffa."

Raya just nodded and the atmosphere became silent.

"Lo fought with him?" ask Karin.

"No, I'm just as good as Daffa."

"lik! keep this cheek why, I do not like if Daffa play rough with you!" said Karin with her sewot tone.

Raya herself just silently thought of an answer, either suddenly she felt confused. If he is honest Karin will be angry at Daffa and he does not want it to happen, because Daffa's condition is not good now.

"You can't answer! Ray lo can love Daffa but do not have to be like gini dong, if you go!"

"Daffa just needs me Rin."

"Gue hates it when you're so bucin like gini!" Karin chose to lay her body on the bed and did not care about Raya who still stayed with her fake smile. Though Karin knows, Raya is holding back pain.

Karin simply answered him with a nod and chose to play the phone.

"Daffa is fine, right?"

"She also skipped, you know where!"

"Well! who really lo? yaudah I want to find him." Just as Raya was about to get off her bed, Karin immediately restrained her hand.

"Whether Ray, Daffa will not disappear!"

"It's not that Rin, he's in a mess I don't want him to be weird." This time Raya was really worried, she did not want Daffa to do weird or drunk again.

Karin can only breathe heavily to see her best friend who is now busy changing her clothes and improving her appearance. Raya and Daffa can be said to be Perfect Couple, 5 years of dating and never once a word broke up. Although he knows their courtship style is not good, but he is sure the two will be up until the guarantee later.

"Let's Rin come!" Karin awakens from her daydream as Raya pulls her hand out of the room.

"Ray you don't have to be alay gini deh, most also in the cafe."

Raya does not care about Karin's bullshit, she still drives her car at moderate speed. What is important now is the state of Daffa.

The first option that you have to go to is a cafe. He did not care about the speed of the car that he was driving the most important thing for him now was how Daffa was.

While Karin can only shake her head when she sees her friend's excessive behavior. He knows he's worried but he should also be able to think that this could endanger himself.

Arriving at the cafe it turns out Daffa does not exist and has not come to the cafe at all. She was getting confused and panicked herself.

"Udah stop Ray! Daffa is not an elementary school boy who will be lost so he will go home in good condition." Sentak Karin who can not stand the attitude of Raya.

When Raya wanted to reply to Karin's words, she was pulled first into the car by Karin.

"Now you know what I said, we go back to the apartment and rest I don't want you to get sick just because of that jerk guy!" said Karin while forcing Raya into the car and closing it.

Actually, it's not without reason that Karin did that. Although it looks rough but he just wants his best friend not to be too excessive to take care of Daffa who is only his girlfriend status.

      Until nightfall Raya had not heard from Daffa, her heart was restless and disappointed. How not, here he is willing to be an outlet of his anger but like ignored and no longer considered his existence.

All he needed was news, one sentence might have been able to calm his heart that continued to fret because of him.

Most people say they're overreacting, but that's the truth. He cares and cares very much about Daffa who in fact is still his girlfriend, but what can make both of them have been like this since the thirst for attention from their parents.

"My life as a friend you are also sad to see lo kayak gini. This is just a small matter of your relationship, one day you will get more tests than this and be ready not to be ready you will still pass." Karin also sat next to Raya who is now in the balcony of her room.

"For you it may be Rin's trivial, because you never know what it's like to be me!" raya said softly but implies pain that is stifled.

"Okay, I don't know what it's like but I don't want you to keep going like this."

"Gue doesn't know how it will be until Daffa leaves my life." Raya covered her face with both her hands and started as unwilling as herself.

Seeing that Karin felt unbearable, he got up and took something. After getting what he was looking for he put the item on a round table that became their seat separator.

"Ray now you try to contact Daffa once again, if he doesn't pick up we're having fun ourselves!"

Raya rubbed her teary face and looked at Karin meaninglessly.

"What do you mean, bring these bottles?" Tanya Raya's.

"We were drunk till morning so you forgot about Daffa!" Answer in an annoyed tone.

Raya looked silent after that nodding in spirit. He picked up his phone and started calling Daffa. The number is active but there is no answer.

"Well he didn't pick up, mending us a party both we finish Daffa's alcohol." Karin had already started drinking one small glass for the opening.

Raya ignores her phone and chooses to follow Karin. Perhaps this way he could forget Daffa a little.
