27. Is Ammo Caught?

Ammo and Ana settle into the shadow of the night. They wear special night vision glasses. Ammo complements it with a variety of advanced additional functions.

Both of them continued to move in silence. Several times they saw some red dots moving in the distance. It made both of them dodge further away from the starting point.

"Do you take turns carrying her?" whisky Ammo.

"No need!" reject Ana.

Early in the morning, when the sky on the horizon implies its first light. Ana realizes the surroundings. He took the gun and pointed at Ammo's head which stopped immediately.

"What are you doing?" ask Ammo calmly.

"This is not the way to the border!" ana was angry.

"indeed not. I didn't say I'd take you to the border" Ammo replied calmly.

"Then we split up here!"

Ana looked around. Look at the clock to determine the direction.

"You can't go there. They've been waiting for you at the border." Ammo tried to explain.

"Then they sent you so I could follow him into a trap?"

Ammo shakes.

"Because they tried to kill me. But I escaped. They may not know I'm alive yet."

Ana watched Ammo closely. Looking for a little picture of a lie on the man's face. But he didn't find it.

"There's been a lot of change going on in these two days. I'll say it later when we get there. Now the important thing is to disappear from here!" ammo said firmly.

Ana is still hesitating. But the gun he had loaded was saved back. Ammo is back on the move.

"I've been trying to pick you up. Now it's up to you to believe me or not. I don't have time to argue with a stubborn girl like you!"

Ammo continues her move to leave Ana. While the girl fell silent and looked at Ammo's back. He is at war with his own mind.

"Do I have to follow his words?" muttered.

"Hey, do you have evidence of her betrayal? Or maybe it's just your suspicion!"

The voice in Ana's mind denied her doubts. Ana closed her eyes. The sky is bright soon. The Hunters were able to use helicopters to inspect the entire forest. He must not waste this precious time.

Ana hurried to step. Following the heat of his body that he could still see through his glasses.

At dawn, Ammo stopped in one place. Ana approaches.

"Download her. So as not to make it difficult for you when you get down." Ammo asks Maya who is still asleep due to the drug last night.

"He didn't trouble me" Ana argued.

"Come on, don't argue now. We're running out of time" complained Ammo. He looks tired.

Ana's stunned. He's aware of it now. The man in front of him never argued. He always gives up. Maya is taken off her back.

Ammo helped install portable stretchers and attached belts to hold Maya's body safe as it lowered into the cliff.

Ammo threw a rope at a large tree branch on the edge of the cliff. Strap the rope ladder down.

"Ana, you come down first. There's a cave down there. Maya I'll drop it down later."

Ana froze, astonished. How does this guy know his real name? Generally her co-workers just call her Angel.

"How do you know my name?" inquiringly.

"Should I answer now? The sky is bright soon. And they'll find us soon!" Ammo's voice is rising.

Ana was silent for a moment.

"I'm down" he said.

"Hem."

Ammo nodded.

He's still busy tying the rope to lower Maya's palanquin.

Now the stretcher is very safe. Maya won't slide down even if the stretcher's a little slanted. Ammo looked down the cliff. Ana just moved into the cave.

"I'm putting Maya down!" exclaim Ammo in a low tone. Ana gave her thumb.

Slowly the stretcher went down. The position of the rope is held by a large tree branch on the edge of the cliff. Ana looked up at the stretcher coming down. He waited and was ready to grab a stretcher to enter the cave.

Ana grabs Maya and puts her on the floor of the cave. This cave is not high enough. So he could just bend over there. At her thrust Maya's palanquin further in. The girl moved to the edge of the cave and looked up. He was surprised to see the rope ladder he had been riding slide down. Ana catches and pulls him into the cave.

"Amom!"

Ana's face paled. He looked at the rope ladder in his hand with a frozen look. Was Ammo caught? that's why she cut the rope so Ana has time to leave?

"alright. I won't waste your efforts!" muttered Ana strengthened her resolve.

He bends into the cave while dragging Maya's palanquin.

"Now the two of us again, Maya," Ana said as she continued to crawl into the cave.
