196. Back to the Clan

"Can you sneak in and check, while they're playing a chase?" ask Ammo.

"Ready!" Ammo gets a reply to a message in one minute.

"Hopefully this building is what we're looking for" muttered Ammo. He was feeling very exhausted now. Close your eyes while leaning on the chair. Unconsciously, he fell asleep.

Julio codes Ariel, Donny, and Ivan not to make a fuss and takes a break. The three people immediately leaned back in their respective seats and closed their eyes. In an instant the room was silent, including the three backup forces of Captain Smith, taking a break.

Ammo exhaled a strong breath. He turned to Ariel to give the order. But it was canceled because he saw three friends were asleep very soundly. Julio saw with his eyes closed, using a voice mail receiver device in the ear. Ammo shakes. He stepped out to refresh himself.

Outside the room, the three aid workers also slept by lying face down on their desks. Ammo walked to her room and headed straight for the bathroom. He needed to refresh himself and his mind for a moment.

Entering the fourth hour, Ammo returned to the study and still saw everyone sleeping.

"Let's wake up! Time to work again!" he hit the table.

After everyone had rested, Julio asked. "Do you want to eat here or in the dining room, sir?"

"Bring it here. Let me take your place to keep Ariel's radio.

"Okay, sir," Julio said. The man immediately walked out of the deserted work space. He was not too worried anymore, because Ammo looked fresher after having enough rest.

Ammo checked all possible missed communications, as they were all asleep. But no message came in. It made him scratch his head. Whether everything is fine, or if the interim government of Slovstadt does decide the lines of communication with abroad.

No information, it makes Ammo nervous. He was worried that there was a political change there and his subordinates could be squeezed. In that case he had taken out all his remaining subordinates to back up the security of the country.

His finger was agile to play the device and send a message to his subordinates, to inquire about the current condition.

There's not much to prepare. He didn't bring much personal stuff. Khouk simply needed to change the patient's clothes of the ship with his own and take away the personal belongings Ana had stored.

A few hours later, they had flown towards the nearest and safest country with the clan. Khouk had a big hand in preparing everything related to the arrival of Ana. He has a trusted network.

By the time Sawyer landed, Khouk's subordinates had already checked the entire area of the small airport. They also set up a special vehicle to ensure Ana's safety during the trip, considering that their new Clan Chief has been the target of many killings.

'Thank you Sawyer. See you around. Be careful!" said Ana.

"See you later, Miss" Sawyer said.

"Are we going by road, Khouk?" ask Ana.
