140. The Origin of Tragedy

Nathalie rested on Ivan's bed, waiting for him to return and her room was prepared.

In the afternoon Ivan was pushed in by his bodyguards. Nathalie, who was asleep, was shocked when the nurse woke her up and forbade her from sleeping in the patient's bed.

"Let it go, she's my daughter" Ivan said.

The nurse gave some instructions to Ivan and his bodyguards, before exiting the room.

Where's Ana?" ivan asked Nathalie who was already standing away from the bed.

"Pushed Uncle Alexei, visit his friend who is also being treated here!" nathalie Sahut.

Ivan Avram got into bed to rest. His guard is serving. The old face looks tired.

"So Alexei told us about our family?" he asked, after sitting properly.

"That's your grandparents, Ivan replied. He didn't see what Ana was seeing. But he can guess it.

"This is a woman, an old man and a baby boy. Who're they?" ask Ana.

"When I was hurt and cared for by someone, I married his daughter after being well enough. So, that's your little brother!" calm answer.

"Well! How could you be unfaithful to my mother?" pissed Ana. The news of Ivan's wife and son, managed to knock his heart out.

"After several months of treatment from that family, I found out about all of you. But the news of your death and disappearance. I never betrayed your mother. He is gone, the result of my mistake" said Ivan softly. Ana was silent, it was all true. Her mother's gone.

"Then, where's the father's family, now?" tanya Nathalie doesn't remember her mother very much.

"They live in a remote village. Away from the hustle and bustle of government" said Ivan

"After his father's death, my wife let him go to look for you. He doesn't want to get involved in bad things. So he kept me away from his son." said Ivan.

Ana fell silent. "Aren't those intel able to sniff out stuff like that?" ask Ana astonished.

"We separated after an assassination attempt that led to the death of one of the bodyguards" he said.

"If staying away could save lives, why would you want to see us?" ask Ana again, with her.

"To make sure you're okay. And now I can see with my own eyes that you have lived well" he said.

"What else are you planning to do after meeting us?" ask Nathalie.

"Take you away, if you're willing," the man replied.

"Where?" ask Alexei.

"One place they can't reach! If you are willing, I will also take my son and wife there. Let us live in peace and forget them. Let nature punish the criminals!" Ivan.

"Is there a place that they can't see?" alexei asked doubtfully. Ivan nodded and his face was very serious.

"If there is, why don't you go there? I'll be relieved if you're safe" Alexei suggested.

Ana shakes. "I'd rather be here!" reject Ana. "I want to avenge my mother!"

"I can't come either. There's my foster family here, there's oscars too" Nathalie said.

Ana and Nathalie continue to check the documentation on the computer screen. There is a name written under the photo of their younger brother, Sacha Vadim.
