Chapter 22: Nic's attitude change

Feelings flow like water, who can resist them. If the heart has chosen as hard as you try to evade, eventually you will still fall too.

"Cherry enough, don't act like this!" Nic raised his voice, he was annoyed that Cherry was still spoiled in his arms, making him uncomfortable about it.

"Nic why are you yelling at me?" Cherry scratched her face into disbelief with Nic's treatment of her.

"Nic, is Miss Khanza's work not done yet?" cherry asked as he glanced at Khanza from the corner of his eye.

"Not yet." Nic said, but immediately denied by Khanza.

"Already, my work is done," Khanza got up and put the file on Nic's desk, "check it out later if you have time." After saying so Khanza also passed. I don't know why Nic felt that Khanza's face looked sad.

"Nic, when are you going to take me to see your family?" asked Cherry, making her look at him for a moment.

"Be patient, this is not the time yet. Wait for the right time." Nic said.

"But Nic-."

"Quite Khanza! I'm not ready okay, understand." Nic raised his voice again. He massaged his temple, his head felt dizzy, he did not even realize whose name he had called.

"Khanza's? I'm Cherry Nic, Cherry!" He confirmed his name. Cherry put on a face that does not like, because the name Khanza is often said during their conversation.

"Ah, I-I'm sorry Cherry. Looks like it's because of my overwork, my head hurts a little." Nic returns, making Cherry look at him suspiciously.

"Okay, no problem." Cherry reviews a thin smile full of meaning. Even though in his heart he felt bad.

"You want to go to the doctor? Today I am a little free, I can accompany you all day. Or maybe we can go to the Romantic Dinner like you shot me." Fresh Cherry, trying to forget what happened just now.

"No, I'm doing a lot of work. Maybe today I can't go anywhere, you better just go home, you can get bored if you continue to be here." Today Nic is lazy to meet Cherry, what else in his friends all day.

Suddenly Cherry sits on Nic's lap, making the man very surprised, "Cherry what are you doing?" Nic widens his eyes in surprise because of Cherry's sudden act.

"What's? I just miss my boyfriend, can't." Cherry poked her arm around Nic's neck and stared at the eyeball. Nic turned his gaze the other way, he was completely uncomfortable with his current position. The heartbeats that he had felt when he was close to Cherry either since when it disappeared.

"Nic, do you want me?" Cherry whispers sensually in Nic's ear, leaving the man increasingly in a state of discomfort. If only the other man in Nic's current position, surely he would not waste the opportunity, making out with super beautiful models like Cherry.

"Cherry, down. It's in the office, what if someone suddenly comes in!" Nic still refused to look.

"Darling, you're the boss. Though others see us, who would dare to speak." Cherry cupped Nic's cheek leading him to look at her. Cherry grabbed Nic by the neck, unexpectedly linking her lips with Nic's lips, making the man instantly freeze.

"Cherry, what are you doing?" Nic pushes Cherry's body until the girl seems almost knocked over, Nic immediately gets up, "Cherry looks like you're not well, go home!"

"I'm not," Nic said.

"Why then? You said you loved me, but after we dated for almost two months you never kissed me. I feel a change in your attitude, Nic. Do you just want to play me?" Cherry stared with a look of despair.

"No, it's not Cherry, we'll talk later. Now you go home first, I'll see you tonight." Nic rubbed Cherry's cheeks gently. Cherry snatched the tote bag she had placed on the table as she had come earlier and passed away.

When he came out accidentally he passed Khanza who was holding a stack of files, he was about to enter his room which happened to be next to Nic's room.

"Wake up from a dream, wake up, and see who you are." Said Cherry made Khanza immediately scrunched his forehead.

"Are you talking to me?" Khanza tilted his head.

"Did I mention your name?" Cherry folded her arms around her chest while smiling cynically.

"It's just me here, is it possible that you're talking to a ghost" Khanza replied as he threw a piercing stare, "you'd better tell me what you mean to talk like that, I'm not someone who insinuates to insinuate someone, if you have a problem with me, say, I hate hypocrites." Khanza's reply was fierce, he knew Cherry hadn't liked him for a long time.

"My problem is you. Nic's always talking about you, this Khanza, that Khanza. He's my best friend, my best friend blah blah blah, everything about you seems right in his eyes." Cherry Cerocos with a look of annoyance.

Hah, Khanza laughs. Honestly hearing Cherry's words she was a little happy about Nic's view of her, "if Nic was the one who always told you that, you should have told her to stop talking about me, why did you come to me instead?"

"I want you to get out of her life, get away from her, leave her." Jealousy makes Cherry vent it against Khanza, Cherry knows if Nic has unwittingly put his heart on Khanza. So in anticipation Khanza has to leave before Nic realizes his feelings. He must immediately secure his position.

"You have no right to expel me." Khanza.

"I am her lover, the right I have is greater than you. Anyway, I've been seeing Mr. Nelson, he knows me and Nic have a relationship. Sooner or later, Nic will take me to see his family officially."

Degs... 'So this morning was not just a coincidence, other than Nic who wanted to say about this woman, even he had met Mr. Nelson.'

"That's great, I hope you and Nic are a match. Miss Cherry, you don't have to worry about when I'll be gone without you telling me to." Khanza passed by with an erratic feeling, there was a burning feeling in his heart.

Khanza went into his room, put the pile of files on the table. He sat down, his head with his hands.

Wh why? He thought by seeing Nic get his love he would feel happy, but he didn't. It hurts, as if his heart is in a squeeze. The word let go is easy to say but very difficult to do.

If, at that time Khanza ventured to tell the truth, would the results be different? Now if he's honest, it's still not too late, there's still hope for Nic. Maybe Nic will come back to her, if he finds out that Khanza has a baby.
