Oh My Saviors

Oh My Saviors
Chapter 15: the determination of the heart

Cherry, of course the girl called Nic. Khanza just rolled his eyes lazily. Not sure what they were talking about on the phone, Nic smiled.

"Khanza's sick, I'm in her place right now." Nic.

"Here's good night." Nic ended his phone call.

Nic glanced back at Khanza, the food on his plate was still a lot left, he frowned.

"Do I need a bribe?"

"No, my hands are not paralyzed." Khanza said a little. For some reason even though he wanted to be ordinary the words that came out of his mouth were still not in accordance with his wishes.

"Go, your girlfriend is waiting for you."

"Cherry was just asking if I'd been home or not" Nic explained.

'Why did he tell me? Does my attitude seem like a jealous person, does he realize it? No, this fool must not have noticed it at all.'

"Then you go home, you need to rest too." Trying to ignore the words Nic said earlier.

"No, I'll stay here tonight." Nic.

"Nic, I'm fine, okay."

"No, you're not okay," just as Nic finished his words, his phone rang again, he stared at his phone screen before picking it up, his forehead slightly wrinkled.

"Hello," he said in an astonished tone, "what? How come, we just talked on the phone. All right, I'll be right there, take care of him." Nic ended his phone call again.

"What's up?" Khanza asked as he looked at Nic in astonishment.

"Cherry, he's in the hospital. His assistant said he fell down the stairs and was still unconscious." Nic took the suit attached to the back of the chair and put it on.

"Sorry Khanza, it looks like I have to go. Finish your food, then take your medicine and rest. If there's anything, call me." Khanza only nodded in response. As Nic passes, Khanza looks at Nic's back, which slowly disappears behind the door.

Food that previously tasted delicious was now tasteless after the departure of Nic, Khanza suddenly felt full and refused to spend his food.

The next morning, Khanza woke up to the sound of someone coming to visit, and it was Shelia.

"Madam, why did you bother coming here."

"I heard you were sick, Nic told a servant to come and take care of you. Don't be too hard on yourself, after this be well rested. Oh yeah, I brought you some good chicken soup for your recovery." Shelia took out the lunchbox from the paper bag she was carrying.

"Come, try." Shelia. Khanza stared at the food, for some reason just smelling the aroma alone made Khanza feel nauseous.

"Well, I'll eat, ma'am." Khanza tried to avoid the food.

"Don't wait, you haven't had breakfast, have you? You should take your medicine." Shelia insisted, taking a spoon and feeding it to Khanza.

Hmp, Khanza frowned at the taste of the food, it was not strange, but there was a push coming from inside his stomach. His stomach did not accept the presence of food.

'Slow down, let's swallow.' he said in his heart.

Gleck... One mouthful made it through his throat, continuing to the next feed, suddenly, Khanza ran towards the toilet, huek...! Khanza regurgitated the contents in his stomach. His stomach seemed to be squeezed, he continued to vomit incessantly, the next vomit was just saliva mixed with water.

Shelia came in with a panicked face, she helped massage Khanza's shoulders, "Za, are you okay?"

"What are you really sick about?" Shelia asked with a probing look, her gaze as if guessing something.

"Gastric disease and anemia" Khanza turned his gaze in the other direction.

"What did the doctor say?" He asked back.

"The doctor just told me to rest and eat regularly." Khanza said so. Shelia is a mangosteen but still does not feel sure.

"You don't like the food I just made? Is there any other food you want to eat?"

"No Madam, thank you very much, that alone is more than enough. You should have just sent the waiter, why did you bother to come here alone." Khanza said after he sat back at the dinner table. He leaned his back against the back of the chair.

"This you, Madam, Madam, Madam, why do you always call me Madam? Khanza, how many times should I say call me Mami, like Nic called me. Honey, I love you like I love Nic, don't you feel that?" Said Shelia, making Khanza's eyes glazed over.

"Thank you" Khanza said, that's all he could say.

"Call me Mommy, okay." Khanza agreed.

"Okay, Mommy." Shelia pulled Khanza in her arms.

"Khanza, you can tell me your grievances at any time, Mami will be ready to listen, baby don't always keep everything alone, you have us. Nic, me and Mr. Nelson." Khanza smiled, if only the words he said were not enough to describe his gratitude for meeting the Nelson family.

"Khanza, did I hear Cherry's back?" Shelia asked suddenly to divert the conversation.

"Yes, and now Nic and Cherry are in a relationship."

Hem, Shelia fell silent, "how is he now?"

"She's very pretty, and she's also our advertising model now." Khanza replied.

"What do you think of Cherry? About her personality?" Ask Shelia more specifically.

"She's nice, pretty, and especially Nic loves her." That's all Khanza can say, he doesn't know about Khanza any more.

"Do you like Nic?" The question suddenly came out of Shelia's mouth, making Khanza surprised, her eyes slightly widened, her reflexes gulped down the glass of water that was in front of her to overcome her shock.

"Haha, how could I like Nic. We're like brothers, Mami said." Khanza forced himself to laugh.

"There's no harm, you're just like brothers not siblings. Khanza, I'm asking you one more time, have you ever liked Nic for even a moment?"

The deg...!

'What kind of heart attack is this?'

"Jawab honestly, and look Mami in the eye." Shelia Urge.

Khanza turned to look at the bead eyes of the middle-aged woman who still looks beautiful, although her age can not be said to be young anymore, but it cannot be denied if Shelia still looks like a woman under thirty years old.

'Am I being honest? No, maybe Miss Shelia was just testing me, she looked suspicious earlier. I can't take advantage of our relationship, just because I love Nic, but this kid, what's his fate?'

Khanza steadied her heart, it was time for her to let Nic go with Cherry, let the baby in her womb only she had it. At least, she still has this baby as a memento from Nic. If one day he has to leave, he still has his love sign from Nic with him.

"Never." Khanza replied with certainty.
