The sound of the slammed room door sounded loud and even echoed, after which there was no more knocking on the door and Riani could rest in peace.
The day changed and passed as usual. The return to work hour arrives and Riani stops a public transport that happens to pass right in front of the restaurant.
Riani got off the vehicle before reaching her boarding place, walking to one of the nearest minimarkets to buy some goods.
Riani's steps stopped, he hid behind a black car that happened to be parked on the side of the road not far from the minimarket.
"Who's mom is that?" lirih Riani was still looking towards the two people who were walking in tandem. "Sir Abdul?" Both of his eyes are squealing. "Where do they look so friendly again, do they not want to sneak again?"
Rita and Abdul move closer to Riani's hideout, it makes Riani immediately hide behind the black car.
"Thank you very much, sir, then again yes, hihi."
"She's calm, I'm still missing the truth."
The two spoke as they passed.
Riani who accidentally heard the conversation scrunched her forehead while feeling disgusted. "What's going on between the two of them? Why is their conversation so rich?!"
Meanwhile, Rita and Abdul have reached the place where Abdul's motorbike is parked, not so far from where Riani is hiding.
When Rita stopped her steps and was about to look at her, Riani immediately came out of hiding and walked back to the direction the two men were in.
The steps went quickly into the minimarket. From behind her glass wall, Riani noticed the two people who seemed to be unaware of Riani's existence. The two of them left the area around the minimarket, somewhere they would go.
"Excuse me" said one of the officers.
Riani was surprised to see it, she immediately shifted a little. "Oh, um .. i-yes please."
The available shopping carts were taken by Riani to keep her groceries temporarily. Then he went around the minimarket to look for items that he might need during his stay alone.
A basket full of goods was already in Riani's grasp after half an hour of looking through the contents of the minimarket. The basket that was originally light because it contained nothing now became very heavy.
The basket was simply placed on the floor while Riani prepared her debit card to pay for everything that had gone into the basket. There were three more queues in front of Riani and they did not buy as much as Riani bought.
Out of the minimarket, the debit card is empty but now both hands are busy carrying a large plastic bag containing many groceries.
"In the meantime, not far away to the boarding house." Riani was moved to take him.
Several times Riani decided to rest while managing her messy breathing. The plastic bag he was carrying was heavy enough to overwhelm him.
The sound of a motorcycle horn made Riani turn her head. A red and black colored motorcycle drove slowly not far from him.
For some reason every time I met, Riani was always nervous. It feels like I can't control myself.
Riani shook her head. "E-don't do it."
"Yes," he said lightly who then turned the gas back on his motorcycle.
While still in the same place, Riani patted her own head. "Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why don't you just accept her help, Ri?!" riani's annoyance at herself. "Udah knows the weight of carrying this, use the event without any help!"
Finally after a tiring journey, Riani arrived at the front yard of his boarding house. His hand went inside the sling bag reaching out to look for something.
The door lock was found and the door opened, Riani brought in a plastic bag containing her groceries into her room before she finally tidied it up.
Riani hung her sling bag in the same place as usual. This afternoon was more tired than yesterday afternoon, Riani threw her body on the bed just like that.
It felt so lazy to tidy things up now, Riani decided to rest first.
Until finally at night, Riani began to unload her groceries. All items are neatly arranged and placed in their respective places.
"Laper too, I want to make sardines ah," Riani said as she picked up a can of sardines she had just bought.
Out of the room, the house as usual. Silent, quiet, there was no sound until the sound of Riani's own breathing could be heard clearly.
At exactly seven in the evening, Riani heard the sound of a clock that rang while eating food. Hearing something quite unfamiliar in her ears, Riani turned to her right and left to look for the source of the voice.
"The truth from yesterday is that there is no sound, rich in the sound of clocks in horror houses" said Riani, who then returned to eating dinner.
Some days always doing activities alone actually makes Riani feel lonely, especially in her boarding house is not as crowded as usual boarding house. The people who occupy this house are so anti-social that Riani rarely meet or cross paths with them.
After finishing her dinner, Riani washed all the cutlery and cooking utensils she had used. It does not taste good if the next boarding child wants to cook but the cooking tool is still dirty because it has not been washed after use.
Feeling bored in the room, Riani decided to take a walk in the interior of the house. His footsteps led to the living room and he found a large clock like a closet in one corner of the room.
"Oh .. This is the sound of that, at half-eight." Riani noticed a fairly antique clock to herself. Feeling enough, Riani sat her body in the guest chair. "What time is the hostel here?" lirih Riani with a look of eyes looking towards the door.
Sitting leaning on the guest chair is quite quiet as well, unfortunately there is not much entertainment in this hostel. Other boarding children are also rarely seen so Riani can not interact with them in her spare time.
Still not wanting to be in the room, Riani laid her body on the guest chair. Although not so comfortable, but it seems that it is not too much of a problem for Riani.
That huge clock again chimed to his surprise. Riani stared at the clock that sounded according to the current time.
"Jam eight," said Riani, her eyes looking at the door. "The other kids aren't home yet?" He was silent for a moment. "Wait for ah, maybe they'll stop at home. It's also nice to make acquaintances with them, from yesterday never seen them. I hope this time I get to know them."
