A warm cup of tea was in hand, he walked slowly towards the sofa with the lighted tv right in front of him.
Tonight it was quiet, quiet and very quiet. No sound is heard, spooky.
"Luckily, tonight is my favorite show" said Rita as she placed a cup of tea on the table.
He took the tv remote and pressed the button in the remote. He added the volume of television so that the condition of his house is not too quiet.
The clock shows at ten o'clock in the evening when Rita laughs amusedly at the behavior of a man in a comedy show. His face was white with baby powder and he acted like a child.
Suddenly, Rita's laughter stopped when she heard the sound of objects falling from the kitchen. Rita turned her head, the sound of laughter still continuing to be heard in the background.
"Don't any cats come in?" Rita tries to think positively.
He got off the couch and slowly stepped both feet into the kitchen. His hand was still tightly grasping the remote.
"Miaw!"
The sound of the cat surprised him.
But a few seconds later, Rita breathed a sigh of relief. The trap is right, only cats create the sound of falling and indeed there are often cats entering through the air vents in the kitchen.
"Hush .. hush!"
The black-coloured cat with a hint of white patches was stepping quickly to away from Rita. The door opened and the cat managed to get out.
Rita went back inside the house, she no longer felt afraid like before, moreover she also felt relieved because she managed to send the package to Tia.
A short message came into his phone.
Dwi: I'm on the bus, ma'am, the bus is leaving soon.
Rita: Careful, Dwi. You're not alone, are you?"
Dwi: [sending photos] I'm the same friend I work in the next house, Madam.
Rita smiled looking at the photo sent by Dwi. He also felt happy because so long did not come home, Dwi finally could meet with family. Although he also felt sad because he now had to be alone at home and tomorrow had to do the usual homework done by Dwi.
The last message sent by Dwi was not answered by Rita. His eyes looked back at the television to continue watching his favorite show.
It did not feel like the clock was already showing at half-twelve in the night when Rita woke up from an accidental sleep. He looked to the right and to the left, the sound of television still continuing to be heard in the background.
A very foreign advertisement was playing, Rita turned her head towards the wall clock.
"Geez I fell asleep, it's twelve and a half," said Rita, cleaning her eyes.
The cold tea was not spent, even the cup was left on the table. The television turned off and the atmosphere of the house turned very quiet.
Rita was silent for a moment, feeling something foreign happening at this moment.
'It's only natural if it's quiet, it's late at night, ' thought Rita who tried not to care about the atmosphere that immediately changed.
Although the fur on her back stood up, Rita still tried to ignore it.
He walked into the room, opened the door and found the room still pitch-black.
Right next to the window, he saw something standing there. Not clear, only limited to a black silhouette shaped body of a man.
"Who are you?!" Rita braved herself, but only silence she got.
Slowly the woman stepped inside the room, she approached the back of the door with her hands fumbling against the wall to find the switch.
The lights are brightly lit dazzling the view. There's nothing next to the window. Still curious, Rita turned off her room lights and the shadow was again visible.
Suddenly a strong wind caused the door to close hard. Rita jerks.
His eyes turned toward the door of the already closed room. Returning towards that black silhouette, the shadow still remained visible there, in the darkness.
Rita turned on the light, the shadow disappeared. He turned off the lights, the shadow came back.
"Is this a light effect?" rita asked softly, somehow her mind had always thought logically since then.
He turned on and off the lights in a fast tempo until he finally saw the shadow was still there even though the lights were on. The shadow was of a man standing behind him in black clothes. But Rita only saw the shadow for a few seconds because her hand turned off the lights again.
"Damn!" Rita turned on the lights again, but the figure was not there.
The growing curiosity makes Rita turn on and off the lights. He waited for the moment when the shadow could be seen in a state of lights on and he would try to keep his hands not too quickly turn off the lights.
Just a few feet away, Rita saw the shadow was getting closer to the end just as she pressed the switch so that the light on the shadow was right in front of her face.
The bright room with the lights on made Rita able to see clearly what was right in front of her. A man dressed in black resembled her husband, but his face was badly damaged with one of his eyes that seemed to be about to come out of the nest.
Seeing this both of Rita's knees felt weak, tears flowed from both corners of her eyes without her noticing, her body felt stiff can not be moved and her lips also mute can not voice a single broken word.
"YOU SHOULD BE LIKE THIS!"
Rita no longer remembers what happened next. He opened his eyes because he heard the voice of someone who was eating something noisily.
As she moves on, Rita searches for the source of the sound. Apparently the voice came not far from where it lay. Two women seem to be turning their backs on him.
After watching for a while, the two women turned their heads. His eyes stared intently at Rita with very small pupils, his mouth splattered with something chewy red. Looking at the front of the figure, Rita saw the figure in black clothes that had made her faint.
"AFTER IT'S YOUR TURN!"
Rita shook her head. "Ti-no ... no!!!"
With knees that felt very weak, Rita walked closer towards the closed room door. He tried as hard as he could to open it, but it was like someone was holding the door from the opposite direction.
"Why can't it be opened?! I'm not the key" said Rita.
Sweat flooded his temples, his breathing was wheezing along with an irregularly fast beating heart.
While at the back, the figure laughed at the struggling Rita.
"MUHAHA ... HAHAHAHA."
Rita turned her head, the figure was already right behind her. The stinging stench immediately smelled making Rita beberapakali want to vomit.
Unable to bear the smell, Rita continued to try to open the room door until it finally opened.
"HEY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"
"NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RUN FROM ME, HAHAHAHA!!!"
