NYI TWINS TRIBUTE

NYI TWINS TRIBUTE
Not Common Pain

At ten o'clock in the afternoon, Riani was already at the stop. He was waiting for the bus to take him to a destination.

Looking towards the white, circular watch on his left wrist, time showed ten o'clock over seventeen minutes.

"A long bus," said Riani while looking at the direction of the bus. There was no sight of the bus approaching him.

The stops are getting full, some of them decided to go some others stay here, including Riani. He was patient enough to wait.

Three minutes passed, Riani found one of the people standing. Looking at the direction of the bus, it looks like the bus that was waiting for has come.

Riani also moved from her seat, she walked closer to the shoulder of the road.

An empty bench in the middle and near the window became the target of Riani, he sat his body and put a headset to then listen to music during the trip.

Not long after the bus was running, Riani felt that someone was patting her on the shoulder. Looking over to the side, Riani found an old woman smiling towards her.

"Why, Mom?" asked Riani kindly, he also took off the headset that was still playing a song.

"Where are you going?"

"Ehm, to the hospital," Riani smiled.

The old woman nodded her head. "Be careful, yeah."

"Why indeed?" riani asked with a frown.

"No papa." The woman shook her head. "Be careful."

Riani nodded slowly, though in her heart was curious. "L-yes, Mom."

"Fortunately you have a loyal friend, he takes care of you without you knowing."

"Yes, Mom." Riani nodded slowly again, though she was confused as to why the unknown foreign woman could tell if she had a very good friend.

The bus stopped at a stop and Riani got up from her seat. "I'm first, Mom."

The woman gave a smile, said nothing, but nodded slowly.

Getting off the bus, Riani thought no more of the words of the foreign woman on the bus. The steps of his two feet immediately led to a building that was almost all painted white.

The state of the hospital today is quite crowded, Riani sat down along with other people who were also waiting for the queue to be checked.

"Miss Riani."

Hearing her name being called, Riani immediately got up from her seat. He met a patient who had just come out of the room.

The examination process went smoothly, Riani followed all the steps told by a bespectacled and short-haired female doctor.

"Everything's normal."

"Normal?" ask Riani astonished.

The doctor nodded for sure. "Everything is normal, after being checked Miss Riani is in good health."

"When every mallem I always have a headache, and sometimes also because of the heavy rich body. There's no sickness, Doc?"

"Everything's normal, Miss Riani."

Walking out of the room, Riani was overwhelmed with confusion. It's true what Sella said if the one with the strange pain.

'Does this have anything to do with Dwi's talk yesterday?'

"Driani!"

Someone patted Riani's shoulder making him who was thinking about his illness slightly jerked.

"Gendhis?"

"Riani, my goodness, Ri. Everyone's been watching you, where have you been all this time?"

There was no longer any time for Riani to shy away from this meeting. Inevitably he had to talk to Gendhis.

Both were in the cafeteria inside the hospital. On the table in the middle of them were two glasses of orange ice that was still full and had not been reduced in the least.

Riani recounted everything that had happened these few days to Gendhis. Throughout the story, Gendhis just nods his head.

"Yesterday night." Riani replied in a desperate tone.

"Sorry but .. You're islam, right?"

Riani nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

"Do you worship?"

For a moment Riani was silent, she did not answer him directly. "U-it hasn't been a long time," Riani replied with a slight hesitation.

It was as if he knew why all this could happen. "Try me to worship, Ri, who knows if it's any different."

"But I forgot."

"Duh, how ya. You can just look at the HP tutorial, or you buy a prayer guide book. It's clear that everything is there. I also can't teach you that now, Ri, because I have to leave for the afternoon."

"No papa, Ndhis. By the way, thanks for the advice."

Genphis nodded. "I'm sorry, Ri, if the effect is rich. But from what I hear that people diligently pray it will not get rich gini disorder."

"No papa, Ndhis. I'm actually a gini-rich ringingetin with you."

"Oh yeah, you know that in the restaurant you've been there again?"

Riani nodded weakly. "I told my boss that I don't work anymore, I don't feel ready to meet a lot of people anymore, Ndhis. Moreover, I have to meet people."

"Continue now what are you busy with?"

"Nothing," said Riani shaking her head. "I don't work at the moment."

"Keep for your life?"

"I paid my salary last month, Ndhis."

"Do you want to work from home? I have a friend who needs an editor."

Riani was silent for a moment. "Ehm ...." He seems to think. "But I have no experience being an editor, how?"

"Consider, you'll be taught. I'll give you the number, let you ask first. He's cool with his people so there's no need to feel awkward."

The news from Gendhis was like a fresh breeze in Riani's arid life. Without thinking any more, Riani nodded her head assenting the offer.

Twelve o'clock in the afternoon, Riani was back at her house. The words of Gendhis are always ringing in the head.

After hanging a sling bag in place and changing into clothes wearing a more relaxed clothes, Riani immediately went into the toilet for ablution.

Everything went well, Riani turned on a video that led her to perform the worship and reading movements she had to recite.

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh .. assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."

Both of Riani's hands were raised and rubbed her face. Haru, goosebumps as well as feelings of guilt enveloped Riani's heart.

I don't know how many decades he hasn't felt this calmness again. Cool, peaceful, Riani felt ashamed of herself.

***

Like the previous two nights, Riani felt her head start dizzy shortly after finishing the service. This time it was even more painful than the previous two nights.

Without letting go of her face, Riani walked towards the bed and laid down her body.

"Why does this hurt more?" lirih Riani kept trying to endure the pain.

Not only the head, but now his stomach also feels pain like being stabbed.

"HAHAHAHA ...! HAHAHA ...!"

The sound of laughter was clearly heard, no one knew. However, Riani felt that the sound was coming from inside her room.

In a blurry view, Riani could see that there was a figure approaching and was about to grip her stomach with long, sharp nails.

"JA-DON'T, PLEASE DON'T!!!"
