There's No Other Way

"No," said Bhanu firmly. "We must not follow what they say and what they want. They were demons that had to be exterminated!"

Each of them moved from their seats. Bhanu went outside while Nindira and Sella went up to Riani's room. In the living room there are still Difki and Mr. Abdul who were chatting casually about what really happened.

Riani wiped away the tears that soaked both cheeks. Not answering anything, Riani unlocked the door so that the two could enter.

The door was opened either by Sella or Nindira. The two entered the room almost simultaneously.

"Ri," said Sella who then hugged Riani. "You're patient."

The three then sat on the side of the bed, Riani was calmer than when they had just set foot in Riani's room.

"I have to marry Bayu deh, Sel, Ra." Riani looked towards the two women sitting on her right and left side.

Riani opened her eyes, she found no one in the room. It seemed like it was still night because the atmosphere inside Riani's room was still dark as well.

Simultaneously, his eyes glimmered towards the lounge with the door leading to the sealed warehouse.

Like normal nights, the lights in the lounge are always turned off and only get lighting from kitchen lights.

The voice continued to sound, like there was indeed a prank about to scare Riani.

The glass that had now returned empty contained nothing was placed on the dining table. Riani stepped closer towards the lounge.

Riani went back up one by one the stairs. His hand holding the doorknob of the room was about to open it, but .. he stopped the action.

Riani let go of her hand on the doorknob of the room and turned to her mother's room door. The door opened slowly.

Curious, Riani turned on the light of the room. He saw a man with both hands stretched out and bound with chains, not far from him Riani saw two female figures with heads filled with large and pointed horns.

The two figures turned towards Riani, they then grinned with pointy teeth filled with blood.

Riani's eyes glanced at someone lying in front of the two figures who were apparently Rita. His body was no longer intact, his eyes were opened with gaping lips.

"YES!!!" Riani shouted at the extremely sinister sight.

Still shouting, Riani woke up again. Looking to the right and to the left, he found himself in the workspace of his late father, only that at this time the state of the room was already bright, not because of the lights but because of the incoming sunlight.

Riani's breathing was irregular, she moved and hoped that what happened earlier was just a dream.

Trying to open the door, Riani found the door of this room locked.
