The warehouse doors used to store unused items have opened. Instantly, the airless air in the room burst out. Riani could smell the distinctive smell of the old stuff stored inside there and make her cough for a while.
Both hands of Riani fluttered right in front of the face to dispel dust that might fly and hit his face.
"Bay ... Bayu?!" Riani called out the name of the man either how many times.
But as before, Riani only gained silence. He saw no one in the barn but unused, dusty items and some covered in thick cobwebs.
Even inside the room there were also many cobwebs that blocked one's path to progressively enter the room.
Riani's eyes look behind the old wooden cabinet relics of grandma first. He confronted the closet with a mirror that had not been able to show the reflection of Riani's body again because it was covered with dust.
There was a sound of friction coming from behind the closet. Looking at the road leading to the back of the wood closet, Riani also did not find a spider web that was in the way.
A smile implied on Riani's lips, he felt happy because he had found the existence of the man he was looking for.
"I know where you are, Bay, you won't be able to run from me again, I'll make sure of that" Riani said in a soft voice.
Slowly the second step of Riani's legs walked closer to the wooden cabinet of the grandmother's relics. He tried his best to keep his footsteps quiet and he also breathed through his mouth so that his nose did not breathe a lot of dust which would most likely make him sneeze for a while.
The closer Riani got the more confident she was with her footsteps. He deliberately wanted to surprise Bayu who was still hiding there.
"DORR!!! A-"
Riani did not continue her sentence. His hands were raised to chest height he lowered them. There was no one behind the closet as he had previously believed.
Silent, quiet, quiet, stuffy and dark because the light only comes from the lounge alone. In the warehouse, the lights have died long enough and are no longer replaced because the room is rarely entered and rarely turned on the lights so it is left alone.
The sound of the door hinges squeaking made Riani immediately turn her head towards the source of the sound. The door closed slowly.
"Woodoo, this isn't funny!" shouted Riani who then ran towards the door.
But unfortunately the door was already hard closed before Riani arrived to hold it to keep it from closing.
"WOOD!!!" riani shouted as loudly as possible with both hands constantly trying to open the door. "WOOD OPEN THE DOOR!!!"
Dark and stuffy was felt by Riani inside the room. He could not breathe freely because of the thick dust in this room.
"WOOD!!!"
Riani kept trying to open the door of the warehouse. Her tears flowed profusely and along with that the dust started to stick on her face.
After many times of experimentation finally the warehouse door managed to open. Riani ran out without closing the door again. He picked up a briefcase and cardigan that hung on the side of one of the dining chairs.
With a face filled with tears, Riani walked out of her house. He locked the door of the house despite a little difficulty because both hands were still shaking in fear.
It does not matter whether Bayu is still in the house or not. The second step of Riani's feet walked quickly towards the nearest stop.
Tonight there are still quite a lot of vehicles passing by, some shops are still open even though there are some who are preparing to close.
Riani picked up the smartphone inside her sling bag. The battery power of the smartphone is only three percent left because indeed Riani has not charged from yesterday.
"Hopefully you can make a message ojek," said Riani.
Riani's eyes looked towards the sky, it was dark, there were no stars or moons dotting the night sky.
Riani moved from her seat. He walks without passion. Looking at the crossroads leading to the house, Riani shook her head. "I'd better go to the hospital."
The distance from home to the hospital is not too far, but also not so close if taken on foot.
Fifteen minutes walk, Riani's eyes can see the bright light of the hospital on the right side of the road. Although he felt a tired body, achy legs and a dry mouth of thirst, Riani still stepped slowly.
The hallway of the hospital was so quiet, no one walked there but Riani. The sling bag he tenteng along with the cardigan, Riani stepped both feet so slowly.
"Riani," call someone from behind.
Riani's hands covered her wide-open mouth, she yawned while looking back. At a distance of about ten meters behind him, Riani saw the man who had been raping her. Instantly there is a sense of hatred in Riani when she sees Bayu.
Riani's eyes stared at the man cynically. Riani did not respond to his call with words. He looked forward again and continued his footsteps.
"Riani ... Ri, wait!"
Riani really doesn't care about that guy. He continued to walk, although slowly.
Of course Bayu can align steps so easily.
"Riani, how are you here?"
Riani silent.
"You're tired of not going to the hospital?"
Riani silent.
"What were you here for? There is no bus at this hour, right? It was also the bus I was riding on the last bus."
Riani remained silent.
"You look so tired, Ri, if you're tired why don't you just rest at home? I'm with Mba Dwi who takes care of Aunt Rita."
Riani turned to the right where the man was. He also stopped his footsteps.
A few seconds passed with Riani's sharp gaze looking towards Bayu who was now in front of her. The man seemed to shake his forehead. Until then Riani's hand lifted and gave a slap on the man's left cheek.
A slap that was hard enough to make Bayu's head turn to follow the direction of the slap. Red hand scars are also created clearly on the cheeks with mature brown skin belonging to the man.
Silent, there was no sound other than a loud enough slap from Riani.
"Riani, why did you slap me? What am I wrong?" Bayu scrunched his forehead.
His left hand raised holding the cheek that still felt the heat and pain due to the powerful slap from Riani.
While Riani stared at Bayu with hatred. The hatred in his chest towards the man was growing, the look in his eyes was no longer even able to describe how much hate Riani had towards the man before her.
"NOBODY PRETEND, BAY!" Riani's tears flowed back from both ends of her eyes. "YOU DIDN'T KNOW ME?! NGAKU, BAY!"
