Nina the Traitorous Secretary
Peace with the Situation
After visiting Darren, Nina and Daffin returned to the hospital room. As they entered the room, a young man was seen sitting on the sofa of the room.
“Kakak!” Nina is happy.
Aldo turned his head, looking at Nina. He immediately stood up and approached Nina, pecking her two cheeks.
“Congratulations, Cel, you've become a mama. How's my nephew doing?” Ask Aldo again.
“He is well, healthy even though he came out faster than he should. We named him Darren Thomas, there's a papa name in it.” Nina was happy.
“That's clothes for you.” UJar Aldo coldly stared at Daffin, then pointed at a plastic bag lying on the sofa table.
“Thanks, Brother.” Daffin said briefly. Indeed, since yesterday when Nina was admitted to the hospital, Daffin has not come home to change his clothes bathed in blood. Luckily in a minimarket in the hospital it sells men's singlet arm, so it can be used by Daffin as a tshirt.
“Actually what happened?” Aldo asked curiously, his face looking into Nina's eyes. “Why did you give birth so soon?”
Nina breathed a long breath.
“All because of Mia, wife of Alex.” Nina was upset. “She got angry with me at the cafe and pushed me until I fell.”
Then slide the story from Nina's lips, telling all the details of yesterday's events. Including the heroic actions of Daffin who had tried to protect Nina from the violence of her mother, but failed.
Nina and Daffin did not notice Aldo's change of reddened face holding back the anger. Aldo finally kicked the table.
“I can't accept this!” Aldo was angry. “He has put you in danger! I won't let him be free! I'll reply him until he feels your pain!”
“Kakak..” Nina grabbed Aldo's hand and patted him, calming him down. “We'll take care of it, brother. Don't reply again. Maybe it's karma for me to destroy Alex's family. I should have just destroyed Midas and Mr. Stephen from the beginning, but I've made everyone suffer. Because me, Alex, Mia and Sharon are taking on Mr. Stephen's sin. Right now, I've made Mr. Stephen die unwilling, Mrs Brigitte is poor, Alex loses her freedom, Midas collapses and Mia lives without a husband. Enough is enough, Brother.” Said Nina softly.
“One thing I asked for, from you, Dave,” Nina said as she grabbed Daffin's hand, ”Till whenever I ask you to stand on my side. You told me once, you asked me to assume what you're doing right now to pay your family's debt to my family. I'm asking you, you can do that for the rest of your life. But not to pay the debt anymore, but to the survival of our family. Do you want to?” Nina asked as she looked at Daffin's face.
Daffin smiled and nodded. He crouched down next to Nina's wheelchair and clasped both of Nina's hands.
“I'm ready. I'll protect you, our son, our family.” Said Daffin with a smile.
“And about Darren,” connect Nina again, “Please think of her as your son, Dave. Maybe he was present from my mistake and Alex, but please love him as your son.”
“Don't worry about that. Ever since I saw you and found out you were pregnant, I've considered her my son. And now, she was born also in our legitimate marriage. He's official as my son.” Said Daffin again.
Nina smiled and nodded her head. She wiped away her tears that made her eyes tear up.
“Thank you, Dave.” Nina said moved. Daffin smiled and kissed Nina's hand.
Aldo smiled wryly. “Ah, message you guys. I'll just go to the office then, I'd rather take care of Crystal than see you guys making out. Or I'll just shut up in Darren's room. I'd rather see a cute baby than her mom's amit-amit father.” He said as he stood up and immediately walked out of Nina's room.
Daffin and Nina laughed at Aldo's reaction.
After Aldo left, Daffin became more and more. She hugged Nina and stroked her hair affectionately. And suddenly, Daffin whispered in Nina's ear, “Honey, later, mmm... Can I have another child?”
Nina's eyes were breaking into hearing Daffin's request. He immediately pushed Daffin's body, releasing his body from Daffin's embrace.
“Basic pervert!” Smacking Daffin's arm. Daffin laughed happily.
