The War Against Midas

“Papa! Papa!” A panicked voice rang out along with the sound of steps running towards Mr. Stephen. Nina suddenly released her handrails on Mr. Stephen's wheelchair and then turned her head, about to see who had come to disturb their meeting.

 

She saw Mrs Brigitte with a worried face running towards her husband.

 

“Uhuk... Uhuk..” Mr. Stephen coughed, as if he was suffocating due to the tension caused by the threat posed by Nina. His face flushed red, his right hand squeezing his suddenly painful heart.

 

Ms. Brigitte looked at her husband worriedly, then looked towards Nina. His forehead frowned when he recognized Nina.

 

“You?” His screams were not happy. “What did you do to my husband? What are you here for?” Continue while shouting in anger.

 

“No.” Nina's voice while spreading her shoulders. “I just say hello to my husband's grandfather.” He nodded with a smile.

 

“Grandfather husband?” Mrs Brigitte's birthday was confused. He thought for a while, then his eyes grew bigger.

 

“You? Married to Daffin? Impossible!” Shouts again.

 

“You don't believe it? Please ask yourself at Daffin!” Nina said with an evil smile.

 

“Alright, our business is done here. Come on Brother, we go.” Nina said to Aldo, then immediately turned her body towards her car. Seeing that, Aldo turned his back and caught up with Nina, not caring for Mr. Stephen's sick look and Mrs Brigitte's gaze which seemed so angry at the two of them.

 

“This is not true, is it, Pa? That snake woman wasn't married to Daffin, was she, Pa?” Miss Briggite sneaks at her husband when Nina has gotten into his car. “There is no way our grandchildren are that careless! Alex was the one he was after, now Daffin!”

 

Stephen did not answer. He only voiced ‘uh uh’ only without Mrs Brigitte understanding the meaning. His hands were still squeezing his heart, and his face was in extreme pain.

 

Mrs Brigitte is panicking again. She screamed at her husband's reaction.

 

“Papa!!”

“Nin, did you say you wanted to put me in Midas?” Aldo asked as they were on their way to Crystal's office.

 

Nina smiled as she turned her eyes from outside the car to her brother.

 

“It was just to test the old grandfather's heart, Kak.” Smile again Nina. “He should not be allowed to live quietly.” Connect Nina while looking back out of the car.

 

Aldo nodded his head while watching his sister. He was getting more and more terrifying, he murmured inwardly, his murderous instincts completely dominating.

 

“I already have a plan, Brother.” Nina said again without taking her eyes off. “Daffin I'll put in Midas. It was more profitable because he was currently the only successor of Midas. And you,” Nina looked at her brother, “I will make you occupy the position of the late Papa. This has been my dream since the beginning.” Smile again Nina.

 

Aldo nodded back. He entrusted all the arrangements and control of the two companies to his sister. As he promised Nina in the mental hospital back then, he would always support Nina. Even his life would be given to Nina.

Nina and Aldo arrive at Crystal's office after lunch. Arriving at the office, they rushed towards Nina's work room.

 

Daffin flinched when suddenly Nina and Aldo entered his study without knocking on the door.

 

“Hai, Dave.” Sapa Nina glimpsed while walking towards her desk. While Aldo, only memandagn Daffin with the tail of his eyes.

 

“Meeting.” Nina pointed to the two chairs in front of her desk.

 

 

Nina looked at Daffin from her seat of greatness.

 

“Speak!” Nina said firmly.

 

“What did you say to Grandpa and Grandma today?” Ask Daffin again. He ignored Nina's orders to sit in the chair in front of him.

 

“Oh,” thin smile Nina looks, “They called you huh? I just say hello to my grandparents, is that okay? They're my grandparents too, aren't they, because we're married? Or can I not visit it?” Nina continued, showing off a smile on her innocent face to Daffin.

 

“Not allowed, just fine!” Answer Daffin gash. “But that's not the way! Because of your arrival, Grandpa is now asphyxiated and back in the hospital!”

 

“Hahaha!” Nina laughed out loud. “So dangerous I am in front of your grandfather, until my visit alone can make him opname?”

 

“Nina!” Hard Daffin Tegur. Again he imagines his grandma voice calling him in tears, informing him that his grandpa was back in the hospital after Nina's visit. It felt like Daffin was flying to the hospital when his grandma called, but he had not been able to leave, Nina and Aldo had been hunted to arrive at the office.

 

“Don't be insolent! Control your voice, little boy!” Tegur Aldo cold.

 

“This is my business with my wife!” Daffin rebutted stubbornly as he glanced angrily at Aldo.

 

“This is in the office! In this office, you're nobody. She's not your wife, but the top leader at Crystal Inc.” Reprove Aldo again. He wouldn't stay put if Daffin dared to babysit Nina.

 

“I have to go to hospital.” Daffin muttered as he turned his body back to his desk, took his cell phone and car keys.

 

“Alright if you want to go,” Nina said before Daffin managed to reach his desk back, “I just say, after you get back from the hospital, your office is not here anymore. You should start taking control of Midas. For your position here, will be replaced by Kak Aldo. That's all I need to say.”

 

Nina directly turned her body and pressed the intercom, calling Rosa to enter her room. Daffin was glued to his position and stood looking at Nina.

 

“You... Get rid of me?” Mumbled Daffin did not believe it.

 

“Kissing you?” Repeat Nina while raising her eyebrows. “I gave you the confidence to hold your own family company without my interference! Rosa!” Nina's screams were impatient.

 

“But... Midas is sick!” Said Daffin slowly.

 

“That's your chance to prove your credibility, make him improve!” Nina's rebut is quick.

 

“Midas needs funding help! Crystal must help him, because without funds, Midas can't move!” Daffin said again, skeptical.

 

“That's your business!” Nina shouted impatiently. “Rosa!”

 

Rosa walks into Nina's room.

 

“Create Mr. Daffin's Mutation Decree from Crystal to Midas, and Mr. Aldo's Appointment Letter to replace Mr. Daffin!” Nina said loudly when Rosa was just seen in her office room.

 

“Good, Bu.” Rosa immediately disappeared back into her own room after getting an order from Nina. He had heard ‘battle’ from inside his boss' room, so it was better that he quickly dodged from the room before becoming the next venting place of anger.

 

“Go! I'll send it to Midas.”'s office Nina said again, turning her eyes.

 

Daffin glued to Nina, slowly turning his body and exiting Nina's room. His heart was sad again, he felt Nina get rid of him because there was Aldo beside him. He was driven to Midas only to die slowly with Midas, as it seemed Crystal would not help Midas.

 

Rosa looked at Daffin's departure with a full heart. Daffin was a good leader and not arrogant, he never asked for help strange even though he was the husband of Nina and direct descendants of the founder of Midas Corp. She did not expect, Nina could be so harsh and cruel to her own husband.
