Nina the Traitorous Secretary

Nina the Traitorous Secretary
Will You Love Me?

Her morning.

Daffin opened his eyes when he felt the sunlight sting his eyes. After a moment of twitching, he felt the bed beside him. Blank. Nina was no longer in her bed.

Daffin muttered while hugging his pillow bolster. He closed his eyes for a moment, but soon opened again after he felt he did not hear any sound, a sign Nina was not in their bedroom.

Daffin crooked and approached the bathroom. Empty yet wet, splashes of water are still left on the shower floor. Daffin immediately cleaned himself up and prepared for breakfast.

When he came out of the bathroom, he found his bedroom empty. Where he was, he was confused. Today is their first day as husband and wife, but Daffin is confused because Nina left him. The clothes were not prepared, until Daffin took his own clothes in his dressing room. A white tshirt and shorts became her choice today to relax at home.

After getting dressed, Daffin went down to the dining room. There was no one, only a few menus on the dining table.

“Bi Arum!” Excited Daffin while looking at the breakfast menu. Bi Arum got pulled from the kitchen, immediately approached Daffin.

“Ya, Den?” He said as soon as he stood beside Daffin.

“Non Nina where?” Ask Daffin while starting to take the bread to his plate.

“So it's gone, Den. Looks like to the office because of wearing office clothes.” Reply Bi Arum again.

The tring! The margarine knife Daffin held fell on his plate. Nina went to work? Working on their first day of marriage?

“Oh yes already, ga apa.” Daffin shook his hand. Bi Arum immediately left the dining room, leaving Daffin sitting pensive.

Daffin has lost his appetite. He immediately went back into his room and took his cell phone.

[Nina, where?] Daffin sent a message to his wife.

Daffin's message was not answered. Finally taking a deep breath, he moved to the changing room, took his work clothes and changed clothes.

Once ready, Daffin immediately headed to the garage and drove his car to Crystal's office.

🌹🗡️🌹

“Se-good morning, Mr.” Rosa said after overcoming her shock. After his female boss comes in the day he should still be enjoying his marriage leave, it is now his male boss who appears before him.

“Bu Nina is there?” Daffin pointed at Nina's room as his feet continued to step towards the room he pointed to. Not giving Rosa a chance to tell her boss about her arrival.

“Pak... Sir. Wait...” Rosa hastily caught up with Daffin. But he had not reached the door of Nina's room, Daffin had opened the door first.

Nina sat in front of her computer, checking reports as she did every day. Nina lifted her head when she heard the door of her room ring.

He saw Daffin and Rosa enter after him to his room with a red face extinguished. What was different was the cause of the red face of the two people. Daffin out of anger, Rosa out of exhaustion chased after Daffin.

Nina smiled faintly then waved her hand, driving Rosa out of her room. Then he smiled at Daffin while shaking his head, then stood up and approached Daffin.

“You are exactly your father, love to enter my room without knocking on the door.” He said slowly as he approached Daffin, then kissed next to his cheek at a glance. Daffin remained standing glued while looking at Nina, while Nina directed herself to sit on the sofa.

“You didn't reply to my message.” Say Daffin slowly.

Nina looked at him, then raised both of her hands.

“I have no time to check my phone. Sorry.” He said, but from the tone of his voice there was no guilt.

“Why did you leave me?” Daffin asked quietly while looking at Nina.

“I leave for work.” Answer Nina calmly.

“On our wedding day?” Cut the disappointed Daffin.

“I'm busy. My work much.” Answer Nina quickly.

“But left me alone..” Daffin shook his head. “Minimum you can wake me up, I'll take you to the office.”

“I used to drive my own car.” Said Nina again as her hands were crossed on her chest.

“With that you till you give me no room to do anything for you?” Daffin asked, poking straight into Nina's heart.

Nina was silent, not even looking at Daffin.

“Do you view our marriage as a legitimate bond between two human beings? Do you consider me your husband? Does this man in front of you not have the opportunity to do something according to his position as a husband? Or do you just think of this marriage as a status so that you are free to move wherever you want and do whatever you want?” Connect Daffin again.

Nina still did not move and did not want to see Daffin.

Daffin approached Nina and knelt before her.

“You remember my words at our wedding? I'm going to be serious about this marriage. I will love and protect you, and I hope you can try to do the same to me. But seeing your actions today, I wonder. Is it possible that you love me, whereas you don't seem to want to try it?” Said Daffin while looking into Nina's eyes.

Nina still speaks a thousand languages. He let Daffin look at him, but Nina was not interested in looking at Daffin.

Finally Daffin could only sigh. Then he stood up and stepped slowly out of Nina's room. Behind the door, Daffin said to Rosa, “Do not forget to buy Bu Nina lunch, pregnant women should not be late to eat.”

Rosa was fixated and could only nod her head. As for Nina, she could still hear Daffin's words even though the man had already walked out of his room and closed the door.

Nina closed her eyes, her tears streaming down. He can't lie to his heart that still expects Alex. He still remembered Alex's hateful and disgusted look at him yesterday, but he still missed Alex's indulgence and behavior that so depended on him. Nina has not been able to accept Daffin even though Daffin is so good and accept it as it is. He will always remember Alex and whatever Daffin does will be of no positive value in his eyes.

Daffin leaves the Crystal office building. He was confused where to go. He was like a child, without a father or mother to share his story with. Grandparents and grandmothers who could listen to him complained. No brother, no friend he has.

Daffin finally decided to go home. She had to prepare documents to complete her wedding documents, as she promised her marriage registry yesterday.

Daffin drives his car out of Crystal's parking lot, not realizing that his wife's eyes were staring at his car from his office window.
