Nina the Traitorous Secretary

We married?

Daffin arrived at his home at dawn. His body was tired, his heart was sick. Her father's words rang in his ears, Nina's actions reflected before his eyes.

 

With a gontai step Daffin walked towards his bedroom. His brain continues to spin, looking for a strategy to subdue Nina while getting recognition from Alex.

 

A bottle of wine came from the bar table he passed by. He gulped a few mouths, then the bottle was carried to the bathroom.

 

Daffin enjoyed the wine while soaking. The smell of wine and the sharpness of alcohol sliced his tongue, keeping Daffin awake and thinking.

 

Nina... What is the weakness of the woman? Did her pregnancy make her weak? Daffin often watches in action films, a weakness usually lies with his family. So, can the child in Nina's womb be used to make her grant Daffin's request? Not necessarily! What if Nina doesn't love the boy and lets Daffin threaten her?

 

Daffin kept thinking. If only he could exchange ideas with his father, maybe the problems they face would be easier to find a way out. Wouldn't it be better to think with multiple heads than just one thinking head? Unfortunately, his father never let Daffin finish his report. Alex always cuts out Daffin's words before Daffin can report everything.

 

Nina has not been able to fully control Midas, as Nina is not married to Alex. The boy is Alex's son, but not legally. Therefore, in order to fully control Midas, they should have been tied to marriage first. Daffin wants to convey this to Alex, but Alex has hunted down and kicked him out.

 

Huft. It seems like there is no point in talking to Alex. His father said it was up to him to do anything as long as he did not return to America. So, what Daffin is going to do right now is up to him, no need for Alex's approval.

Daffin quickly downed the wine in his glass, then got up from his bathtub. He rinsed his body under the shower, then dried his body.

 

He grabbed his cell phone as soon as he got to the room. A message for Nina.

 

[Good night, Beautiful. Tomorrow I'm going to your office again, I have something to talk about. I'll come, lest you don't exist.] Type it, then put the phone down without waiting for a reply from Nina.

 

Daffin kept thinking, thinking about his strategy to deal with Nina. He will make the woman not wart and obey her.

Nina snorted bitterly before answering her secretary. “Just have him come in, Ros.”

 

Daffin walked into Nina's room with a smile. Nina did not press him, she just waved to her sofa and let Daffin sit down.

 

 

“I also do not want to rule in Midas. I just want Crystal. If you want, you can take Midas.” Cut Nina fast.

 

Daffin shook his head and his smile widened. “You forgot what I said last night? Regarding my step-sister who had to pay Midas's losses due to negligence and wrongful decisions from his mother in the past?”

 

Nina growled in annoyance. He is off guard, the marriage chapter was Nina's idea to pry Mia. The article he would use to force Alex to marry him and divorce Mia. Not surprisingly, now the article is used by Daffin to suppress it.

 

“What do you want now?” Nina's growled.

 

“You must marry me.” Said Daffin while leaning his back against the back of the sofa.

 

Nina was surprised. “What? Have you gone crazy? What is your relationship with my affair with Midas to the point that I have to marry you?”

 

Daffin smiled broadly. “I think you're smart, but you're pretty sloppy this time. You made a big mistake, and I'll take advantage of your mistake.” Said Daffin, making Nina glare.

 

Daffin stood up, walking towards a small refrigerator in the room. He opened it and picked up a black coffee can. He spoke while pacing back and forth with a can of coffee in his hand.

 

“On the deed says, the power of Midas is actually mine and my half-sister,” Daffin said as he directed his eyes to Nina's stomach, “You represent her only until my half-sister is eighteen.”

 

“But all of that will only work if you are married to my father no later than three months after the deed is published. Nina was glued to her seat. His brain digests Daffin's words one by one, trying to recognize whether this is the truth or merely Daffin's threat to suppress him.

 

“Your choice is only two. The first, retreating from Midas and Crystal and handing the two companies over to me, as Crystalpun still remains under Midas' control. Crystal has always been positioned as a subsidiary of Midas,”, Daffin said as he walked back and forth, “Or second choice, you must marry the heir of Midas, for all your actions to be legalized according to law.” Connect Daffin and sit on the arm of the sofa while looking at Nina gently.

 

Nina still remained silent as she looked at Daffin.

 

“The problem is, who are you going to marry? Is my father, who is currently a prisoner but is angry with you? He will just revoke all your power when you are married to him.” Daffin said, with a smile on his face, Nina's heart surged to hear Daffin mention Alex's name and marriage.

 

“Or... Will you marry me? I am also the successor of Midas, I am free and I am not angry with you. You can legally exercise all your will once you become my wife.” Connect Daffin with a gentle smile. “And I can accompany you to raise your son, our son. A deed that my beloved father could not do. ” Said Daffin while sipping his cold coffee.

 

Nina remained silent. How is this, is it all true? Should she marry Midas' successor? Nina cursed in her heart, she really had to study the document again.

 

“A-I can't decide now. Give me time.” Said Nina stammered, she is so nervous at the moment.

 

Daffin shook his head with a smile, he stood up again and this time he walked over to Nina.

 

“I can't give you much time.” He sat down next to Nina and placed his coffee on the sofa table. “My father asked about Midas's progress last night. You've really pissed him off.” Connect Daffin with a smile.

 

“My father said, now it's up to me to do what, as long as I don't leave Midas. So, I have to fix it. And I can't fix Midas without you. So,” Daffin reached into his pocket and pulled out a heart-red velvet box, “Let's fix it all together. We get rid of all grudges between our families. For Midas, for Crystal, for my family and especially for you and your son. Our son.” Connect Daffin while opening and thrusting the velvet box to Nina.

 

Nina's eyes widened to see a beautiful ring with a piece of sparkling diamond in front of her eyes.

 

“We're married?” Daffin brought the ring closer to Nina with a smile.
