Visiting the Enemy

It's late at night.

 

Daffin hurried to end his work at the office. He has completed the financial statements that are his responsibility and now wants to go home as soon as possible. He was very curious about the surprise prepared by his wife.

 

The distance from his office to the house in normal condition must be reached within an hour, now lived by Daffin in just half an hour. I don't know how many people have berated him along the road because of his careless driving.

 

Daffin entered his house with a heart palpitations, a result of curiosity and increased adrenaline due to reckless driving.

 

In her living room, Daffin finds Nina sitting with a man she doesn't know. When his forehead frowned, Daffin felt he did not know the man.

 

“Dave...” Sapa Nina when seeing Daffin has entered the house. “Include. This is Aldo, my brother.” Nina said as she waved her hand at Aldo. “Sister, this is Daffin, my husband.”

 

Daffin and Aldo looked at. Daffin tried to smile, but he was stunned when he felt the smell of anger and hostility in Aldo's gaze.

 

“Kak...” Daffin tries to melt the tension by greeting Aldo. Aldo just stared at Daffin.

 

“From today, Brother Aldo will stay here with us. You don't mind, do you, Dave?” Said Nina while looking at Daffin.

 

“Ga problem.” Say Daffin while sitting on Nina's side.

 

“The room we prepared last week, it's for Kak Aldo.” Nina said again. “And starting tomorrow, Brother Aldo will help us at Crystal.” Connect Nina again.

 

Daffin just nodded his head. He did not set anything about any personnel who occupied the position at Crystal Inc., all he left to Nina. Daffin only occasionally noticed the stability of conditions in Midas and asked Nina for help in case of obstacles in Midas Corp.

 

“Tomorrow morning, you leave first for the office. Later let me go to the office with Brother Aldo, escorted by Mr. Salim. What's up, right?” Connect Nina again.

 

Daffin scrunched his forehead. “Why is that?” His words are not happy. Daffin began to think, over time Nina will get used to going to the office with her brother and leave him alone.

 

“Tomorrow there's something I have to do with Kak Aldo before I get to the office.” Obviously Nina while looking into Daffin's eyes. His stern look revealed determination, making Daffin can not resist it.

 

“Alright then,” said Daffin lethargic, while standing up, “I want to take a shower first.” He walked to his bedroom.

 

“Your husband is like that?” Cibir Aldo after Daffin passed. “Simple once!”

 

“But he is useful because he still bears the name Midas.” Nina told her sister. “You better deal with him than his father, he's easier to control. His father is my son's father, his arrogance surpasses that of Mr. Stephen Midas.” Connect Nina again.

 

“Prepare, Brother. Tomorrow I'll take you to our real enemy.” Nina said with a smile, imagining the commotion that was going to happen tomorrow.

Next morning.

 

As Nina requested the night before, Daffin left alone for the office. Before leaving the house, Daffin kissed his wife's lips with the eye of Aldo's eagle.

 

“You are so fond of being his wife!” Said Aldo cynically when Daffin had left home. Nina laughed at her sister's words.

 

 

“Really?” Ask Aldo in doubt. “Not because you already love him?”

 

Nina simply smiled at Aldo's question. He is reluctant to mention the name Alex as the owner of his true heart, because lazy fuss with Aldo. Aldo must have found him if he knew he loved a descendant of Midas.

 

“Eh, tell me.” Said Aldo again while accompanying Nina step out of the house, towards their car. “Did you also serve him in bed?”

 

Nina laughed as she hit Aldo's arm. “It also includes an award for her, Kak!” Nina's lawful hard.

 

Aldo widened his eyes and shook his head. In his heart, he was amazed that his sister had sacrificed so much to avenge their family.

That day, Nina took Aldo to the main house.

 

At the guards guarding the front gate, Nina said there was an appointment to meet Mr. Stephen. The guards, who knew Nina was Alex's secretary, let her in.

 

“Look, Brother,” Nina said to Aldo as she stretched out her hand, pointing to the grandeur of the main house that is like a palace, “This palace and its contents are mostly built from the results of Crystal assets in the past. A treasure that our family should have.” Nina continued, making Aldo clench his hands full of vengeance. Aldo again remembered the faces of his father and mother who had died, as a result of Mr. Stephen Midas' materialistic lust.

 

Mr. Salim immediately steered his car towards the back garden. From the main gatekeeper earlier, they got the info that Mr. Stephen was sunbathing in the back garden.

 

Nina and Aldo walked up to Mr. Stephen who was sitting sunbathing in his wheelchair. Mr. Stephen did not see the two brothers coming because he was sitting facing a mini waterfall made to drain the fish pond in the back garden.

 

Mr. Stephen's condition has improved since his stroke at Crystal Inc. at that time, only he suffered from speech disorders, leg paralysis and left half-body paralysis.

 

“Good morning, Mr. Stephen.” Nina said suddenly as she and Aldo were already standing close enough to Mr. Stephen. Stephen was surprised to hear Nina's voice and suddenly turned his head.

 

“Aaaa.. Aaa...” Mister Stephen stuttered as Nina and Aldo were already standing in front of him.

 

“How are you, Mister?” Say hello to Nina with a smile. A beautiful smile, yet full of terror for Mr. Stephen.

 

“Do you not answer me, sir? I forgot to introduce myself. Today I come not as your son's assistant or secretary, but as your son-in-law's grandson. I'm Karenina Crystal Clementine, wife of your granddaughter Daffin.” Nina still continued to smile while introducing herself.

 

Mr. Stephen widened his eyes. He wanted to rebut and expel Nina, but he could not speak. He insisted on shouting, but only ah and uh sounds came out of his mouth.

 

Nina looked at Mr. Stephen hatefully. He brought his body closer to the old man's wheelchair, then bowed in front of him. Mr. Stephen tilted his head back, keeping his face away from Nina's face.

 

“You saw the man?” He said as he leaned his tail toward Aldo. “He is my older brother, his only son and heir to Crystal Inc. You destroyed my father's company and got rid of my brother, did you think he was dead all along? Or is his madness incurable? Look at him, he is healthy and ready to occupy the throne of my father.”

 

Nina grabbed both of Mr. Stephen's wheelchair arms, then brought her face closer to Mr. Stephen until the old man threw her face away. He could not bear to see Nina's hatred and hear her threat.

 

“I'll give him a position at Midas Corp, your beloved company. We'll destroy it from the inside. Your dear granddaughter, your proud son and your beloved wife, will die slowly and become a badass in the middle of the road. An exact same situation as the torture you inflicted on our family.” Nina's fizz in Mr. Stephen's ear. “And you, I will let you be the last to die, so that you can see the suffering of your family.”

 

Mr. Stephen turned his head, trying to challenge Nina's eyes with his old eyes, but he knew he had lost. Nina's eyes exuded the deepest grudges and her determination to finish off the Midas family.
